I was having a destination wedding in Asheville and could not find a good enough makeup artist in that area so I looked to Charlotte. I have been a working model and actress in Florida for over 10 years now and have had my makeup done hand fulls and hand fulls of times for commercials, print work, live television, you name it. And I have never ever, ever, ever had someone do my makeup the way that it should be correctly and perfectly done, like the way Alyssa did mine. Other makeup artists have made me look tired, older than my age or just didn’t know how to do it correctly. I knew that I could most definitely trust Alyssa prior to booking her. WOW. She did the most AMAZING job. She really knows her products and what each product and product line are capable of as far as what holds up, whether it be for a wedding day or not, and how to use these products on a client. She has the most artistic and creative eye and knows how to paint a canvas CORRECTLY, so to speak. Perfection, perfection, perfection. She did my 62-yr old mother’s makeup so beautifully and my mother is just as picky as me when it comes to makeup artists. My mother was OBSESSED with Alyssa’s work. Again, Alyssa knows what she is doing. Full of experience, was always extremely responsive, extremely accommodating, oh, and even left me the sweetest “love” note which I found at the very end of our wedding reception as well as a few emergency items such as deodorant wipes, lip liner, lip gloss, fast nail drying spray and aspirin. Needless to say, the note she left me meant the world to me & made me cry happy tears! Having Alyssa apart of my special day made it that much more special. Seriously. You would be crazy not to book her for whatever your event or special occasion may be, if you wanted your makeup done the way it should be done to look your VERY best. Alyssa is outstanding. Me and my sister did do the make up from Alyssa on the occasion of my sister's wedding reception. She was mind blowing and we both were extremely happy and satisfied. She did our make up just as we wanted.

If you are looking for a makeup artist for your wedding day, SHE IS YOUR GIRL! Alyssa is hands down THE most professional and talented makeup artist that I've ever met. She did my makeup for both my bridal portraits and for my wedding, and for my bridesmaids as well. I think makeup can be a very personal thing, and it takes true talent to be able to listen to your clients, what they're comfortable with, and then deliver results to meet their expectations and make their vision come to life. Alyssa accomplished that flawlessly and made me feel absolutely beautiful for one of the most important days of my life. To top it all off, she has an amazing personality and we had so much fun getting ready with her! I wish that she lived closer to me so that I could get her to glam me for every big event.
