If you are in the Boston-area, I would highly recommend Ligia for your wedding makeup! Ligia is not only an incredibly talented makeup artist, but she is also a truly wonderful person. Before my wedding I did makeup trails with a couple of other artists, but I wasn’t particularly happy with the outcome. However, when I had my makeup trial with Ligia, I loved everything about the make up application. The airbrush application felt very light and natural, the color palette was perfect for my skin tone, and the lashes were so comfortable! I showed her only one inspiration photo and she took it from there. It was like she knew exactly what I was looking for!

I am so glad that I booked Ligia for my wedding makeup and for the makeup of our bridal party and my mom. Ligia was early the day of the wedding and stayed late to make sure we had last minute touch ups before our photos. She was also very responsive leading up to the wedding and put together a great schedule for us the day of the wedding. I ended up loving my wedding makeup even more than the trial! My bridal party also absolutely loved their makeup. In particular, Ligia was so kind and gracious when doing my mom’s makeup and was very mindful of my mom’s physical disabilities. My mom felt so special and beautiful that day and it was great to see her so happy with her makeup as she had never had her makeup done before.

Overall, it was wonderful to get to know Ligia throughout this experience and I am so happy that I decided to work with her for my special day! The day of the wedding we were on the streets of Boston getting photos taken and complete strangers were coming up to tell me how beautiful I looked and how I looked like a real princess. I think for any bride you want to feel beautiful on your wedding day and Ligia certainly helped me feel that way! I am so appreciative of her skill and talent and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

My makeup trial was great. She expressed concern for understanding my skin type to make sure my makeup during the trial and my wedding was optimal. She heard my vision and gave her professional opinion on what would look best. She took notes and saved my looked from the trial to understand how best to execute on the wedding day.

On the wedding day itself, she was able to execute great looks on various skin tones of my bridesmaids. She then absolutely rocked my wedding makeup! I wanted to still look like myself while also having makeup show up on camera and she executed that perfectly. She took her time and did not let me out of the chair until things were perfect. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and I am so thankful for Ligia for perfecting my makeup look!

Ligia was amazing for both my engagement shoot and wedding day. I am not one to wear make up often and was honest in letting her know that. With that, she made sure to achieve the soft glam look that I wanted. I felt very comfortable in my make up. My bridesmaids could not stop talking about her work as well. They were all so satisfied with their look on wedding day. Ligia can do make up well on all different skin tones and listens to certain requests. I highly recommend using her service.

Ligia is excellent. She is very professional. After I sent her and inquiry, she responded very quickly. We spoke on the phone. She was organized and set clear expectations. She uses technology appropriately to schedule appts, to communicate and to gather info before the trial and day of wedding. At the trial, I did not love the first look and although we had already been sitting there for almost two hours, she essentially did a whole look again with changes that I asked for and I was much happier. I think she continued to consider my wants and also how different colors work for me face and skin tone because BAYBEE! I looked 100x better on wedding day than I imaged I would. It was flawless and very much in line with my style and personality. Very pretty, very done up, but I looked like me. Also, I had a nasty breakout on my face the night before my wedding. I called her crying like a child asking for help (and some TLH). She was so sweet, made some suggestions and also reassured me that it would be fine. Which it was. Highly recommend

Ligia did the makeup for myself and 4 others for my wedding. She came to our hotel for the makeup session and brought a full setup with her. She took time with each person to make sure their look was complete. I received many compliments on my makeup throughout the night, and had no issues with it lasting. It somehow also came off fairly easily at the end of the night, which was appreciated! Ligia was organized and professional throughout the process.
