If you are in the Boston-area, you need to book Ligia for your makeup!

If you are in the Boston-area, I would highly recommend Ligia for your wedding makeup! Ligia is not only an incredibly talented makeup artist, but she is also a truly wonderful person. Before my wedding I did makeup trails with a couple of other artists, but I wasn’t particularly happy with the outcome. However, when I had my makeup trial with Ligia, I loved everything about the make up application. The airbrush application felt very light and natural, the color palette was perfect for my skin tone, and the lashes were so comfortable! I showed her only one inspiration photo and she took it from there. It was like she knew exactly what I was looking for!

I am so glad that I booked Ligia for my wedding makeup and for the makeup of our bridal party and my mom. Ligia was early the day of the wedding and stayed late to make sure we had last minute touch ups before our photos. She was also very responsive leading up to the wedding and put together a great schedule for us the day of the wedding. I ended up loving my wedding makeup even more than the trial! My bridal party also absolutely loved their makeup. In particular, Ligia was so kind and gracious when doing my mom’s makeup and was very mindful of my mom’s physical disabilities. My mom felt so special and beautiful that day and it was great to see her so happy with her makeup as she had never had her makeup done before.

Overall, it was wonderful to get to know Ligia throughout this experience and I am so happy that I decided to work with her for my special day! The day of the wedding we were on the streets of Boston getting photos taken and complete strangers were coming up to tell me how beautiful I looked and how I looked like a real princess. I think for any bride you want to feel beautiful on your wedding day and Ligia certainly helped me feel that way! I am so appreciative of her skill and talent and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Incredible wedding makeup!

Using Ligia for as the MUA for my wedding was an incredible decision! From the beginning she was responsive and informative. Her positive attitude immediately pulled me in as someone who was passionate about the industry she worked in and would do a great job

My makeup trial was great. She expressed concern for understanding my skin type to make sure my makeup during the trial and my wedding was optimal. She heard my vision and gave her professional opinion on what would look best. She took notes and saved my looked from the trial to understand how best to execute on the wedding day.

On the wedding day itself, she was able to execute great looks on various skin tones of my bridesmaids. She then absolutely rocked my wedding makeup! I wanted to still look like myself while also having makeup show up on camera and she executed that perfectly. She took her time and did not let me out of the chair until things were perfect. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and I am so thankful for Ligia for perfecting my makeup look!

Excellent service!

Ligia was amazing for both my engagement shoot and wedding day. I am not one to wear make up often and was honest in letting her know that. With that, she made sure to achieve the soft glam look that I wanted. I felt very comfortable in my make up. My bridesmaids could not stop talking about her work as well. They were all so satisfied with their look on wedding day. Ligia can do make up well on all different skin tones and listens to certain requests. I highly recommend using her service.

Wonderful make-up experience

Ligia is excellent. She is very professional. After I sent her and inquiry, she responded very quickly. We spoke on the phone. She was organized and set clear expectations. She uses technology appropriately to schedule appts, to communicate and to gather info before the trial and day of wedding. At the trial, I did not love the first look and although we had already been sitting there for almost two hours, she essentially did a whole look again with changes that I asked for and I was much happier. I think she continued to consider my wants and also how different colors work for me face and skin tone because BAYBEE! I looked 100x better on wedding day than I imaged I would. It was flawless and very much in line with my style and personality. Very pretty, very done up, but I looked like me. Also, I had a nasty breakout on my face the night before my wedding. I called her crying like a child asking for help (and some TLH). She was so sweet, made some suggestions and also reassured me that it would be fine. Which it was. Highly recommend

Ligia was amazing. I am so glad to have had her on my wedding day. All of our interactions were amazing. She made me feel very comfortable. She was attentive, responsive, and friendly. Beautiful Makeup

Ligia did the makeup for myself and 4 others for my wedding. She came to our hotel for the makeup session and brought a full setup with her. She took time with each person to make sure their look was complete. I received many compliments on my makeup throughout the night, and had no issues with it lasting. It somehow also came off fairly easily at the end of the night, which was appreciated! Ligia was organized and professional throughout the process. She sent tips ahead of time for how to prep, which was appreciated! I would recommend Ligia for anyone looking for bridal makeup.

Best makeup artist in boston!

Ligia is an extraordinary makeup artist!! From start to finish, Ligia is a true professional. She knew the look I was going for and made all my wedding dreams come true. Since my husband and I had a small wedding, our wedding party was very small. I had one maid of honor, and my husband had his best man. Ligia suggested that I have the true GLAM experience and encouraged me to have my mother, mother-in-law, maid of honor, sister-in-law's, and cousin get all their makeup done up with me. It truly made that experience memorable. Without a doubt., One of the best decisions that I made for my wedding was having Ligia do my makeup.

Absolutely Amazing

Ligia and her partner were absolutely amazing makeup artists for myself, my eight bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law. Our wedding took place November 13, 2021 in Danvers, MA. From the make-up trial to the day of the wedding, she was a seamless partner to work with. I LOVED my makeup, as did my fairly conservative (and very nervous to have professional makeup) mother! Extremely Talented Make Up Artist!

Ligia was an absolute rockstar! We had 13 women getting ready together, of all different skin tones, and she made every last one of us look like a perfect model. She is incredibly knowledgeable about products for different types of skin, and what will photograph best for long wedding days. She is also so fun to work with, and very professional! Made me feel truly beautiful on my wedding day

Ligia was great to work with and I was so happy with my make up! I really trusted her to give me the exact look I wanted for my wedding day, which was classic and beautiful, but also so I still looked like myself. She nailed it! It was 90 degrees on my wedding day and despite the heat and sweat, my makeup held up so well for the entire wedding! I had a somewhat diverse wedding party and she made everyone of varying skin tones look great!

Amazing service, friendly and flexible!

Ligia was so wonderfully kind and super flexible for my wedding day when I wanted to sleep in just a little longer. She provided makeup services for myself, mom, sister and friend, taking care to make sure that everyone felt comfortable as my mom had never had her makeup done before and was nervous about the false lashes. The makeup was well done on all of us and didn't budge all day in the hot and humid weather, through rain or tears! Simply the BEST!

Ligia, responded to me quickly. I contacted her less than 2 weeks before my out of state wedding. She also called me immediately upon request. I love that she listened to who I was and what I needed and wanted. I sent her photos of myself and my wedding dress.
She made my wedding! Seriously. When a bride looks her best she feels her best! Her application of makeup was so professional and personal, not a one size fits all! Her lovely, relaxed personality, calmed my nerves. And she explained some of her choices during the application, bringing me more confidence and comfort. I have never felt so beautiful, yet myself. She went out of her way to accommodate me. Ligia is who you want and need for your big day! She is like your best friend who is skilled at makeup coming to serve you on your wedding day. Go With Ligia!!!

I cannot thank Ligia enough for her above and beyond talent. I don’t wear makeup in every day life so I was a little self conscious prior to the trial. All of that went away once Ligia showed me the mirror, I couldn’t believe it! She’s a beautiful person inside and out, who helped me feel incredibly beautiful and confident the day of my wedding. She also did the bridal party and everyone came out looking like a movie star, but it wasn’t too much or not enough, everything was perfect!

She’s Wonderful!

Ligia is wonderful, and did such an amazing job. I found Ligia on WW because I was looking for a MUA in our area familiar with a wide range of skin tones—I am mixed, my mother is pale white, and my bridesmaids ranged from pale to olive tones. I personally have had more than my fair share of MUAs saying they didn’t “have my shade of foundation.” Everyone’s makeup turned our beautifully for the big day! Best of all, Ligia is funny, personable, and has a ton of great ideas—we all had a blast talking to her as we were getting ready in the bridal suite. She’s prompt, efficient, and genuinely amazing at what she does.

Thank you for making me feel beautiful.

My husband and I had to cancel our wedding plans because of Covid-19. We were heartbroken, and made the last-minute decision to keep our original date and have a very small and semi-secret wedding in my parents' backyard. I am so thankful that Ligia was available on my date. I was always slow to respond (because hello, we are living in a pandemic lol) but Ligia was very sweet in her follow ups to make sure we were aligned and everything was perfect (which it was).

I don't wear makeup at all and was so nervous to have a face full of it on our wedding day. She played good music and our conversation helped me relax before walking down the aisle, which was so needed. I loved how I looked! The way she hand mixed my makeup to match my tones was so impressive! She's a true artist. But I really loved how she made me feel - absolutely radiant. Like a slightly elevated version of myself, which is exactly what I asked her for.

Ligia Helps Wedding Dreams Come True!

I had a very small and intimate city hall wedding but I wanted everything to be perfect for my day. Working with Ligia was wonderful; she is highly professional and knows what she is doing. She was patient and listened to my desires and her work was flawless. The pictures of me in the first hour before my wedding look just as good as the pictures hours later when we were at dinner after the ceremony. Look No Further, Makeup Artist Found!

Ligia was an absolute delight! After a makeup artist kept cancelling on me, I found her 2 weeks before my wedding. Despite being in the middle of a move, Ligia made time to meet with me for a bridal consultation. I was so pleased with her work at the consultation, I cancelled my back up appointment with another artist. She is a great listener and works with you to make sure you feel secure, gorgeous, and you achieve your intended look! She is very talented, and I highly recommend her services. Very Happy

Ligia is amazing! She was referred to me by one of my bridesmaids. Ligia provided make-up for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother/mother-in-law. She made me look and feel so gorgeous!
She has a wonderful eye for color, and respectfully listens to your requests.

Ligia was wonderful! She followed up with me from start to finish. I found her through WeddingWire and saw the work that she had done in the past. They were all beautiful. I was planning for my daughter's wedding in Boston and found that she had great reviews. She lived up to them all. She is professional and very talented. Fantastic Experience!

I had a fantastic experience working Ligia for my wedding this May! On the day of the wedding I felt absolutely beautiful and the make up lasted ALL NIGHT. It looked amazing in person and in photographs. I do not wear a lot of make up in my day to day life, so I was nervous about not looking like myself, but I didn't need to worry because Ligia was fantastic at putting me at ease and created a look for me that made me feel beautiful. And I loved what she did for my bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law. They were all very happy with how their makeup turned out. Also, prior to the wedding Ligia was great at communicating, if I had a question she always responded within a day or two. During the makeup trial she explained everything she was doing and checked in often to make sure I liked the results. In terms of cost, I felt like she was very reasonable, I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. I would absolutely recommend her to any bride!

Talented and Amazing!

I have never felt more beautiful the day of my wedding and I have Ligia to thank for feeling that way. She is an extremely talented make up artist. One of my gifts for my bridesmaids was paying for their make up. All my girls loved their make up and said they all felt amazing. I don’t know where to start. I was looking for a makeup artist that is familiar with darker complexion for my wedding. I looked for days and found nothing, until I came across Ligia’s page. I was shocked to read her reviews and found not one bad review on her page, I can see why now. Ligia is hands down one of the best makeup artist that’s ever done my makeup. I'm a big fan of Ligia's! I originally chose her because I am mixed and my mother has very dark black skin. I wanted someone who wouldn't make her look like a clown. We had a makeup trial and I was so impressed with how she made me look. I don't normally wear makeup so I told her that I didn't want anything too heavy. She made me look beautiful in the trial and I was confident about the big day. I looked even better on my wedding day and so did all my bridesmaids and my mother and mother in law. My mother looked beautiful and the makeup wasn't too much. I would absolutely recommend Ligia to any bride.

Ligia is a true professional and knows her stuff. She did an AMAZING job with the makeup for myself and all my bridesmaids and they all looked beautiful. Makeup lasted all night even though we had the ceremony in a church with no AC. At 11pm when the reception ended my makeup was still going strong and the best part is we all looked like ourselves; nothing overdone. I can't say enough about the great work she did. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup, Ligia explained the process and exactly what she was doing to make me comfortable. Ligia is such a talented make-up artist and I couldn't be happier that I chose her for my wedding day! She did make-up for me and my bridesmaids and everyone looked absolutely stunning. I have never looked as beautiful or felt as confident as I did on my wedding day. This is due to the expert skills of Ligia. Upon meeting her for a trial a few months ago, I knew that I was in expert hands. As a bride of color, I was very worried about finding someone who would understand the color balance needs of brides with deep skin tones. My husband who grew up in New Hampshire really wanted to have our wedding there. I was worried that I would not find anyone within 100 miles that would have skills with dark skins. Upon meeting Ligia, I knew that in her I had found someone who had the expertise to execute my vision perfectly. If I could give her 100 stars I would. That is how happy I am with the work that she did for my entire bridal party. I cry with joy when I see my wedding photos because I know that I look better than good, I look amazing! I found Ligia after an unsuccessful (read: disastrous) make-up trial with another artist. As someone who doesn't wear make-up on a daily basis, I wasn't sure if my discomfort with the first trial was legitimate, or just a product of unrealistic expectations. But after sitting down with Ligia for a trial less than four months before my wedding, the difference truly was night and day. She offered her opinion without pushing too much make-up on me, and I immediately knew I wanted to hire her. I ended up feeling absolutely stunning on my wedding day (September 2015), which is so important. Ligia also did a great job on the mothers' and bridesmaids' make-up, of course, and was very patient, responsive and flexible throughout the whole process. Working with Ligia was easily one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process, and I will definitely be recommending her to friends!

I searched far and wide for a makeup artist I could feel comfortable with and could do great work. I am not much of a makeup person but Ligia made me feel comfortable. Ligia did my makeup, my mother's makeup, and my 6 bridesmaids. We all did air brush, and I got married on a humid day (July 18, 2015) and my ceremony and cocktail hour were outside (at Elm Bank in Wellesley) and my makeup looked perfect all night- in fact, it even looked pretty good the next morning! Ligia is professional and knows her stuff- she is also fun to talk to and easy to be around- which is important with the vendors you are going to spend the day getting ready with. She worked in a timely manner, made a schedule for me, and had 8 people with lots of different skin tones and face shapes and did exactly what flattered each girl the most. I honestly felt so beautiful but also felt like MYSELF- I didn't look like a caricature of myself, just a really enhanced version of me. I actually had a few different makeup trials with several makeup artists because I wasn't sure what I wanted, but Ligia made my skin look absolutely flawless and I knew it would translate really well into photos- which it did! Ligia is an amazingly talented makeup artist! I highly recommend her to any bride to be looking for makeup on her wedding day. She provided makeup for me, my sister and mom and we never looked better. We opted for airbrush makeup and it made us look flaweless. I ended up going spray tanning the week of my wedding and Ligia was able to patch up a few places on my neck and chest too!

I wanted a dramatic eye and neutral lip, my sister loves dramatic makeup and my mom wanted natural. Ligia delivered on each of our looks!

After I got engaged, I knew of one vendor that I needed to book for my wedding. Having done the make-up for my brother's wedding and for my best friends, Ligia was must have on my wedding to-do list. Up to the big day, she was very responsive to my emails, answering all of my questions. On the morning of my big day, she was there bright and early and ready to get all 9 people beautified. She did an amazing job on everyone--taking her time with each person, making sure everyone looked fabulous. It got down to the wire having 9 people to do, but she was able to do it just in time. 7 of the 9 people got the air brush make-up which is amazing. It stayed on all day and I didn't worry about it at all. I also got fake eye lashes, which is a must have for any bride. They made my eyes pop in every photo. I highly recommend Ligia for all of your make-up needs. She does beautiful work and is very easy to work with. Thank you, Ligia!

Hiring Ligia to do our makeup was one of the best decisions we made in planning for our wedding. We were two brides, with several siblings, moms, and friends that needed their makeup done for the day, and didn't want to have to stray far from our comfy hotel room. We found Ligia online and loved her portfolio. And when we stressed about looking for a great hair stylist to also come to our hotel for the wedding day, she recommended Annie who was also the best! My wedding date was originally scheduled for July 6, 2013. But we decided to change our entire wedding for December 22, 2012 instead because I became pregnant. That mean we had only one month to finish planning everything. I had booked Ligia for my makeup since that summer for the July wedding. She did such an amazing job for my trial that I booked her on the spot for 11 ladies, which included 9 bridesmaid, my mother and I. But when we had changed our date for December, I was down to just 4 ladies. I was very afraid that when I called Ligia, she wouldn't be able to do my make up for the wedding. Surprisingly, Ligia was extremely flexible and happily accepted do my make up. She had emailed me the timeline for the day. Before the wedding, she even called me for a consult again.

On the day of the wedding, Ligia was on time, professional, kind, patient and respectful to everyone's wishes. She was done with our make up early that she was flexible to add in one of my friend for her make up. As for my make-up, I LOVED it! My skin complexion had changed because of the pregnancy. Ligia made sure everything blend in correctly even on my face and neck area. I had air brush for my foundation and smokey eyes done and it stayed on throughout the entire night. My bridesmaid and mother didn't have air brush but their make-up were flawless throughout the entire night as well. They too, LOVED their make up. Everyone was glowing and our guest complimented on how beautiful our make up was. The next day, I still had my wedding glow!!

Photography was one of our major priorities when my husband and I were planning our wedding, so flawless professional makeup was really important to complement that investment. Ligia came highly recommended by my photographer who had worked with her in past weddings. She was the only makeup artist I contacted, but her professionalism and responsiveness from the very start confirmed that I would not need to contact another! We easily scheduled a trial despite my crazy schedule and she provided clear directions to her studio. I found a look I was interested in from Ligia's website and she re-created it for me perfectly! I was instantly happy with the amazing job she did and it never felt rushed--even with careful airbrush makeup and eyelash application. She took "before" and "after" pictures and emailed them to me so that I could remember how I looked. On our wedding day, Ligia arrived promptly at the hotel where we were getting ready and began makeup on my bridesmaids while I was getting hair done. We had the added bonus of great weather and a deck from the back of the hotel suite, so everything was set up outside. I think having my makeup done by Ligia was just about the only truly relaxing thing about getting ready and much of that was due to her warm, friendly and extremely calming presence. She did a beautiful job on all of my bridesmaids and my mother. I can't thank her enough for helping to make me look and feel so gorgeous on the happiest day of my life!

Ligia did mine, my daughter (6yrs old) & my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding on 9/15/12. Let me just say that she is extremely flexible & amazing at what she does! There was a minor glitch the day before the wedding & I had to switch our "getting ready" location. I texted her to let her know at the last minute and she was extremely accomodating, arriving on time at the new location we were getting ready at! I got SOOO many compliments on my makeup that day & all of our makeup lasted pretty much until the next morning, and we did a TON of dancing and the makeup stayed perfect! Ligia is a very talented makeup artist! I hired her because my photographer recommended her to me. Ligia did my bridal makeup, three of my bridesmaids, my mother, and she even squeezed in my grandmother who was not originally on the schedule. I was very happy that I did a trial before the wedding, as we were able to work out all of the details ahead of time and the wedding day was seamless. I was searching for someone to make my mother, my bridal party and me beautiful on my wedding day. I googled make-up artists and Makeovers by Ligia was the first on a list of many.

I sent an email to Ligia inquiring into her availability (I was getting married over Columbus Day weekend), her rates, and setting up a consultation. She got back to me within 24 hours and we had set up a consultation.

At the consultation she inquired into my skin type, any allergies I had to products, and what my thoughts were for wedding make-up. She suggested an airbrush application and I was all for it. The consultation lasted about an hour and when she was through I was blown away. My face looked flawless and I LOVED my make-up. I booked Ligia that day.

Ligia will come to you the day of your wedding. She sets up her chair and she transforms every person that sits in that chair. The morning of my wedding, I watched as my bridesmaids and my mother stepped into and out of her chair. Everyone was smiling and admiring themselves in the mirror. When it was my turn to step out of the chair, I was amazed by how glamorous I looked and felt. I could not stop admiring how beautiful I looked. I could not have found a better make-up artist.

Ligia is a professional. Her rates are reasonable and she will come to you. Every person at our wedding commented on how beautiful I looked, and those who only saw photographs, said the same.

After the trial, I wasn't sure if I wanted false eye lashes because they felt heavy on my eye. For the wedding she did half lashes, which felt more comfortable to me, and people standing three feet in front of me couldn't tell I had fake eyelashes on! I also loved the airbrushing. It was much more comfortable, lighter, and had a smooth, natural looking finish. My sister loved it so much she decided to do it as well. Thanks, Ligia! :)

I was so happy with Ligia's artistry! I had been sick for a week before my wedding and felt anything but pretty. Ligia made me feel so beautiful that I forgot about my cold and not having a voice for my wedding. She is very professional and organized but also so down to earth and put my mom and sister, who were nervous about having their make-up done, totally at ease. And to top off my wonderful experience with Ligia, my husband told me that his favorite part of the wedding was how beautiful I looked... he keeps asking if I can have that eye make-up done again!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Ligia and I couldn't have been happier. She always responded to emails almost immediately and was prompt the day-of and came with a chair and all of her make-up. The end result was PERFECT. I felt beautiful and confident but still felt like me. Oh and all of the compliments from others didn't hurt either :) Any questions or concerns she confidently answered or addressed -She made sure I comfortable with everything she was doing. She also did my mom and sister (who is a lot younger - 16!) and did a great job making sure it was age appropriate. I would recommend her over and over again. You will not be disappointed. We were very pleased with the makeup and hairstyling provided by Ligia and Ann. There was six of us and services were taylored to our needs, from my 24 year old daughter to my 86 year old mother. They arrived at our location right on time and stayed until I was ready to walk down the aisle. We all looked natural and the need for touch ups was minimal. With another wedding coming up in June '11, we have already booked their services.

Honestly, my makeup was beautiful! I may be biased, but honestly she made me feel amazing. Ligia treated all my bridesmaids and mother of the bride and groom with the utmost respect. She let everyone have the spotlight and made everyone look spectacular. Best part of all, she listened to our requests, and the makeup stayed on all day long. I'd say over 12 hours. Started at 9am and the party didn't end until after midnight. I woke up the next morning and my makeup still looked flawless and my eyelashes didn't budge! She is reasonably priced for all bridesmaids and mother of the brides. The bride pays a bit extra due to travel costs, but she comes to you. No fuss and we were all done on time! The makeup is flawless and I also recommend airbrush. It's the way to go, doesn't feel like you have anything on but yet gives you coverage!
And if you need a recommendation on updo's. Ann Walsh is recommended by Ligia - Phenomenal!!! She was amazing and both very professional (again very reasonable in price for updo's I've paid more as a bridesmaid than I did as a bride and my hair looked out of this world!)
I recommend both, you won't be disappointed!!! I hope this is helpful!

I would HIGHLY recommend Ligia!! I'm someone who doesn't like having my makeup done because it usually feels so heavy and I feel like a clown. When I told Ligia I wanted a very natural look for my wedding, she was the only makeup artist who actually listened and delivered the look I was looking for. I received compliments on my makeup all day long. My bridesmaids, mom, and aunt were all equally pleased with there makeup. Ligia is amazing!!

Ligia did a tremendous job for our wedding. I was very concerned about hiring someone to do my makeup because I never wear any and I wanted to look like myself, not like a different person/doll. Everything about Ligia put me at ease.

The day of the wedding she arrived early, got everything set up, and just blended in with everything that was going on. She got along great with me and my bridesmaids, she was a very calming presence, and she made all of us absolutely gorgeous.

Ligia's work is absolutely amazing! I have never felt SO beautiful! My entire wedding party was completely thrilled with her work and she can really create any look you desire. Ligia was a pleasure to work with. She did a wonderful job listening to the look I was hoping for and would be comfortable with - as someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, this was very important to me. She was friendly and relaxed, making it a calm wedding morning for all of us. Hiring a makeup artist to come to your site is never inexpensive, but Ligia is competitively priced, and for us, not having the stress of getting to and from a salon was well worth the price. Everyone, including my mother who usually wears no makeup, was happy with their makeup. I have already recommended Ligia to a number of friend.

I hired Ligia to do my wedding makeup for my June 6th wedding and I cannot express how happy I was with her work. I was very wary of hiring someone to do my makeup since I'm don't wear much makeup normally. I am SO glad that I came around and decided to leave it up to a professional for one day of my life. Ligia came to my hotel room the day of my wedding, brought all her own supplies (makeup, a directors chair, accessories, etc), and transformed me into a beautiful bride!!! I was truly impressed at her skill and artistry. She knew exactly what colors to use on me and everything looked soft, natural, and beautiful. She even added a few lash extensions which looked amazing! All of my friends commented on the makeup job and demanded Ligia's contact info!! The pictures came back and they look perfect. The makeup and lash extensions made me look live a movie star for the day and I can't thank her enough!!! Ligia is a true professional and I would recommend her to anyone.

I highly recommend Ligia as a makeup artist for your event. I hired her services for my recent wedding, which took place past May 2017, in Woodstock, VT. The results were outstanding. Ligia was professional in every regard. From the very first correspondence with her, I could notice her responsiveness and fine treatment. Also, she is well organized and will make sure she is on top of the event. My wedding was a destination wedding in Vermont, and we had bridesmaids coming from all over the world. She was able to make us all look beautiful. She is able to work with different skin tones in a magical and easy way, showing expertise and grace. My bridal party (bridesmaids, mom and myself) we were from different part of the world and all had different skin tones, coming from Canana, Slovakia, USA and Dom. Rep. We all came looking at our best being so diverse. As for me (bride), I had the most clean and finished look. I felt with so much confidence on that day. Moreover, I just received the professional pictures from the photographer and now I can see again how beautiful I looked.

Ligia did an amazing job on myself, bridesmaids and mom for my wedding in September. Everyone loved how they looked and they looked gorgeous! She was flexible in helping me to find an alternative lipstick after our trial when I had decided I wanted to go a different route. I was surprisingly able to book her within less than 2 months before my wedding day - which was just pure luck - and I couldn't have been happier. She showed up on time and made sure that everyone was done on time but not rushed either. I would highly recommend Ligia to any bride looking for a makeup artist.

Ligia is a true master of her craft. From start to finish, she was a pleasure to work with. I lived in North Carolina while planning a wedding on the south shore of MA; Ligia was so flexible in that she made herself available for the one day I flew back to MA. I was so pleased with the look we talked over and that she created for me on trial day. She is a great listener. Come wedding day she worked with my maids and the mothers to create the look each individual was going for. No one was rushed and everyone was given her full attention. We all kept commenting that we felt like we looked glamorous and flawless, while still remaining natural and still like ourselves. Ligia is a joy to be around and a fantastic make up artist. Ligia did a fantastic job. She was able to work with my very challenging schedule to schedule (and re-schedule) make-up trials and meetings. She listened to my requests and preferences, while also giving me great advice and showing that going a little out of my comfort zone gave the best results on wedding day. I normally wear no make-up, so this was really important to help me feel comfortable! Everyone's make-up was absolutely beautiful and I would recommend her to anyone.

I found Ligia when searching for makeup artists for women of color and she did not disappoint! I met with her about three months before my wedding to do a trial run for my makeup, and she introduced me to the airbrush technique, which was perfect. On my wedding day, she arrived bright and early and got through seven of us people, including a tattoo cover for one of us, and we were ready to roll well before picture time. She is a consummate professional, and I (and my wedding party) got so many compliments on our makeup! I would recommend Ligia in a heartbeat!

I hired Ligia to do my wedding makeup on October 22, 2011. I want to say that she did an excellent job on me, my mother, and my mother-n-law. I have so many compliments about my makeup that day! I cannot express how much I am thankful for her to do my makeup. We had a tight schedule and she was able to deliver the task on time! I had the airbrush done on me and let me tell you, it lasted........all day and night. I didnt even need any touchups except lip gloss here and there. Ligia's work was flawless and amazing. She made my 60+ year old mother and mother-in-law look just as beautiful as my 25 year old bridesmaids, and even covered my emergency back zits flawlessly and quickly, saving the day yet again. I chose Ligia as my makeup artist for my May 2011 wedding, because I saw that she did a great job with Asian faces. On the day of the wedding, my maids and I (and our moms) were blown away by how great we looked after she applied our makeup. Perhaps the best looking day of our lives. :) She came super early, and was a joy to work with. Her hair partner Anne is also incredible...so so good at what she does and wonderfully warm. If at all possible, you must book Ann, too!!

Ligia did a great job on my make up, the bridesmaids and my mom. One of my bridesmaid barley wear any make up on a daily base and she didn't mind the eyelashes at all. She honestly made everyone gorgeous that day and everyone's make up last the whole day from 9am until 11pm. I highly recommend the airbrush, it is a little more expensive compare to traditional make up but it is worth every penny of it. She was late the morning of my wedding and it did end up pushing my schedule back, especially with the photographer. But besides that I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a good make up artist.

There\'s no doubt that Ligia is talented, and she does an amazing job. She also seems like a nice person. What I didn\'t like about her is that I found her unprofessional. Among my complaints is the fact that she showed up 20 minutes late, and I couldn\'t even get a hold of her on my wedding day.
