Best Day Ever!

Main Street Ballroom was without a doubt the best wedding venue! From the minute my husband and I toured it, we immediately knew we had to get married there. It had the amazing industrial vibe we were looking for and the ability to bring our own catering helped bring down wedding costs so much! The included decor and the all day venue rental as well really helped make this venue standout. The venue is so pretty that you do not need a lot of decorations, it speaks for itself. Along with that, the staff is incredible! They were just as excited as we were on our big day and were there to help if we needed anything! HIGHLY recommend Main Street ballroom

A Slice of Vintage Heaven in Historic Ellicott City

It was an amazing experience having our wedding at the Main Street Ballroom. We went for a sort've modern take on vintage theme and the interior fit what we looked for perfectly. We also loved that our caterer brought in their truck utilizing the parking spaces in the front, which really made the outdoor patio feel more private and connected to the party inside.

Considering that all vendors are booked independently of the venue, it made DIYing our wedding easier. Scheduling walkthroughs and mapping out the venue floor plan with Rachel was a breeze and Gemma was quite responsive via email to answer any questions you had. Booking our date was especially easy given that we requested a weekday at their hourly rate. On the day of, Tyler was the acting venue manager and was also great and easy to work with. If we had to do it all over again, we would still choose MSB. Thank you for making our day the best day of our lives!

Beautiful Venue!

The minute my now-husband and I finished our Main Street Ballroom tour, we knew we had found our wedding venue. It is absolutely stunning, and required minimal decorations to bring our vision to life. The 16-hour rental window helped make our wedding day go so smoothly; we had plenty of time for both setup and breakdown. Other bonuses include the two suites for getting ready, as well as the tables, chairs, and many other pieces of furniture included in the rental price. We received many compliments on our venue, and for good reason. I would highly recommend it!

Best venue!

We were married on 10/22/2022 at Main Street Ballroom, and the venue is perfect! We toured 6 other venues in the Baltimore area and Main Street had everything we needed, from the free parking, a moongate for our florals, and two getting ready suites. It has all of the extra things you don’t realize you need/want until you see the other venues don’t have them. We loved the variety of styles inside (and outside!) for photo opportunities. The team was extremely professional and helped our day run so smoothly. I would recommend couples encourage their guests to ride-share or provide information for all the parking options in the city because the lot outside does fill up quickly with other visitors. This venue is perfect and we highly recommend it to all!

The Most Beautiful Venue

The moment my now-husband and I stepped foot into Main St. Ballroom we knew this was our dream venue. Besides getting so much venue time (from 8am-12:00am), it is absolutely gorgeous. I knew we wouldn't need much decor because its so naturally beautiful. The staff at Main St. could not have been more professional or helpful. We spoke so highly of Main St. that a friend of ours booked his wedding there already. Thank you Main St. Ballroom for being the PERFECT venue and making our wedding such a dream!

Perfect Venue for our 1920's Speakeasy Wedding!

With having a 1920's theme, we knew instantly when we stepped into Main Street Ballroom that this was the place for our wedding! Historic building with stone walls and a speak easy feel! The entire process for renting the space was smooth and the staff were always quick to respond and constantly made us feel heard. The staff were always so friendly and were also such a great help to make sure that everything for the event was a success! I will now forever hold a special place in my heart for Main Street Ballroom.

Amazing Intimate Venue!

Recently had our wedding at Main Street Ballroom and we could not say more positive things! The venue is very beautiful and intimate, the staff (Rachel, Gemma, others) were excellent and very helpful getting our day organized, and they provided many tables/chairs to accommodate for everything. The venue rental price is well within budget and they give a whole day time window for your event. Parking is a little difficult at times but being in Old Ellicott City that's expected and was not a problem for us. They provide a lot in terms of furniture and vendor recommendations and made our planning very easy and worth it. Main Street Ballroom was amazing and made our day very special!

Love msb!

So glad we chose Main Street Ballroom for our wedding venue! Not sure what was the best part- the 16 hour rental or the fact that they allow you to bring your own caterer compared to other venues who have their preferred caterers. Everyone at MSB is very friendly, especially Morakot who I wish I could personally meet because I had a huge issue last minute and she was very kind, compassionate and understanding. She even called me to offer help rather than going back and forth via email.
The venue comfortably housed all 150 of our guests. Our guests loved the venue for its character and its location. We had our wedding on a Sunday and I was nervous about the parking lot situation- but it was not an issue with guests finding the other parking lots to park at.

Thank you MSB for allowing us to host our wedding at your wonderful venue!

Simply Outstanding

We had our December 2021 wedding at Main Street Ballroom and we cannot speak highly enough about Kate, Gemma, Rachel, and the entire Fetewell crew. Throughout 26 months of planning (thanks COVID), the MSB team was so supportive, and we could not have asked for a better partner in the process. We had to constantly remind ourselves during planning that this seems like a stressful, big deal to us, but to MSB it’s just Friday. They know what needs to be done and how to make it successful.

Our guests kept remarking how beautiful the space was, which was/is true! We did minimal decorations because we felt it wasn’t necessary! The 16 hour rental period was a godsend too; MSB was the only place (other than Fetewell’s other location, Haven Street Ballroom) that we looked at that had it built into the contract. MSB also had a TON of furniture that we could use (for free!) to decorate the venue. We didn’t have to rent any furniture because MSB had everything. It was amazing!

A wonderful wedding venue

Main Street Ballroom is an amazing place to host a wedding! We chose Main Street Ballroom for our wedding venue due to the flexibility of its catering requirements and gorgeous interiors, and we absolutely made the right call. The staff were flexible and communicative throughout the planning process. Because MSB is already so beautiful, we ended up saving a ton of money on décor. We also saved money by providing our own alcohol and caterer, rather than going through a venue approved caterer as many venues require. Everyone at our wedding remarked on the gorgeous setting and we loved getting ready in the bride’s and groom’s rooms! If you want to take first look photos, we recommend going to the Patapsco Female Institute, which is just around the corner.
