With having a 1920's theme, we knew instantly when we stepped into Main Street Ballroom that this was the place for our wedding! Historic building with stone walls and a speak easy feel! The entire process for renting the space was smooth and the staff were always quick to respond and constantly made us feel heard. The staff were always so friendly and were also such a great help to make sure that everything for the event was a success! I will now forever hold a special place in my heart for Main Street Ballroom.

We were married on 10/22/2022 at Main Street Ballroom, and the venue is perfect! We toured 6 other venues in the Baltimore area and Main Street had everything we needed, from the free parking, a moongate for our florals, and two getting ready suites. It has all of the extra things you don’t realize you need/want until you see the other venues don’t have them. We loved the variety of styles inside (and outside!) for photo opportunities. The team was extremely professional and helped our day run so smoothly. I would recommend couples encourage their guests to ride-share or provide information for all the parking options in the city because the lot outside does fill up quickly with other visitors. This venue is perfect and we highly recommend it to all!

The moment my now-husband and I stepped foot into Main St. Ballroom we knew this was our dream venue. Besides getting so much venue time (from 8am-12:00am), it is absolutely gorgeous. I knew we wouldn't need much decor because its so naturally beautiful. The staff at Main St. could not have been more professional or helpful. We spoke so highly of Main St. that a friend of ours booked his wedding there already. Thank you Main St. Ballroom for being the PERFECT venue and making our wedding such a dream!

Recently had our wedding at Main Street Ballroom and we could not say more positive things! The venue is very beautiful and intimate, the staff (Rachel, Gemma, others) were excellent and very helpful getting our day organized, and they provided many tables/chairs to accommodate for everything. The venue rental price is well within budget and they give a whole day time window for your event. Parking is a little difficult at times but being in Old Ellicott City that's expected and was not a problem for us. They provide a lot in terms of furniture and vendor recommendations and made our planning very easy and worth it. Main Street Ballroom was amazing and made our day very special!

The minute my now-husband and I finished our Main Street Ballroom tour, we knew we had found our wedding venue. It is absolutely stunning, and required minimal decorations to bring our vision to life. The 16-hour rental window helped make our wedding day go so smoothly; we had plenty of time for both setup and breakdown. Other bonuses include the two suites for getting ready, as well as the tables, chairs, and many other pieces of furniture included in the rental price. We received many compliments on our venue, and for good reason. I would highly recommend it!

So glad we chose Main Street Ballroom for our wedding venue! Not sure what was the best part- the 16 hour rental or the fact that they allow you to bring your own caterer compared to other venues who have their preferred caterers. Everyone at MSB is very friendly, especially Morakot who I wish I could personally meet because I had a huge issue last minute and she was very kind, compassionate and understanding. She even called me to offer help rather than going back and forth via email.
The venue comfortably housed all 150 of our guests. Our guests loved the venue for its character and its location. We had our wedding on a Sunday and I was nervous about the parking lot situation- but it was not an issue with guests finding the other parking lots to park at.

Main Street Ballroom is an amazing place to host a wedding! We chose Main Street Ballroom for our wedding venue due to the flexibility of its catering requirements and gorgeous interiors, and we absolutely made the right call. The staff were flexible and communicative throughout the planning process. Because MSB is already so beautiful, we ended up saving a ton of money on décor. We also saved money by providing our own alcohol and caterer, rather than going through a venue approved caterer as many venues require. Everyone at our wedding remarked on the gorgeous setting and we loved getting ready in the bride’s and groom’s rooms! If you want to take first look photos, we recommend going to the Patapsco Female Institute, which is just around the corner.

This was the perfect venue for us. It was rustic and I fell in love with the fairy lights on our first visit. The flexibility for arrival and breakdown was a great perk. They were so helpful and responsive the entire time.

Main Street Ballroom was the perfect venue for our 100-guest wedding. Rachel was amazing from the tour to the walk through and our managers the night of were so helpful and attentive. The venue itself is gorgeous, which allowed us to limit out decor budget. The use of their tables, chairs, and arbor was a huge money saver as well. If you're looking for an industrial, elegant venue then MSB is the best. The 16-hour window definitely reduced a lot of stress. Highly recommend using a transportation company to reduce any parking concerns. We loved MSB!

We held our intimate ceremony at MSB this past weekend and in the midst of this pandemic, it was perfect! The booking process was seamless and Kate and her team are very responsive to emails.

The venue is clean and beautiful, located in historic Ellicott City. MSB also has beautiful arches and furniture that you will be able to use for your wedding. The inside of the venue has a lot of good photo opps - white barn doors, chandelier, stone walls! We were very lucky and the rain held off, so we were able to take photos on their patio and along Main St as well!

We had our December 2021 wedding at Main Street Ballroom and we cannot speak highly enough about Kate, Gemma, Rachel, and the entire Fetewell crew. Throughout 26 months of planning (thanks COVID), the MSB team was so supportive, and we could not have asked for a better partner in the process. We had to constantly remind ourselves during planning that this seems like a stressful, big deal to us, but to MSB it’s just Friday. They know what needs to be done and how to make it successful.

Our guests kept remarking how beautiful the space was, which was/is true! We did minimal decorations because we felt it wasn’t necessary! The 16 hour rental period was a godsend too; MSB was the only place (other than Fetewell’s other location, Haven Street Ballroom) that we looked at that had it built into the contract. MSB also had a TON of furniture that we could use (for free!) to decorate the venue. We didn’t have to rent any furniture because MSB had everything. It was amazing!

We had a wonderful experience with MSB. The venue speaks for itself and we were able to add personal touches in every way. We had at least 185 people fit, drink, eat, dance comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful in decor recommendations and the venue provides beautiful furniture pieces to add to the venue. We loved our experience, and guests continue to compliment the beauty of the venue.

I am SO GLAD that we went with Main Street Ballroom for our wedding!! They had a COVID package that allowed us to have up to 20 guests, use of their house furniture, an officiant, two bottles of champagne, and a small cake for a phenomenal price. Our officiant, Rachel, even met up with us a few weeks before the wedding so she could get to know us and craft our ceremony to reflect who we are. She was so open and awesome in her communications with us that, on the day of, we felt like we had a friend we had known for years marrying us, which really put me at ease. Another employee, Taylor, made sure that the whole wedding was captured on a live stream and got some great angles! Both Rachel and Taylor really bent over backward for us in terms of set-up and making sure everything went smoothly, and I can't thank them enough. You will not regret booking with them!

The entire staff is amazing and we’re extremely easy to work with. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Even with the setbacks with COVID-19 and the state lockdown days before our original date, Kate and her team were willing to let us reschedule for a later date and kept all the information on hand from the original date. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate, this is the place. A day of venue manager was onsite at all times and tables,chairs, and other items were available with our contract which was a huge cost saver. The space is breathtaking!

Main Street Ballroom is the absolute best by far. As a COVID bride, I had no problems with my venue in terms of accommodations for the unforeseen circumstances that the pandemic caused. From the very beginning I was assured that MSB would do whatever they could within reason to accommodate us. All of our guests were traveling from different states to attend. My family traveled from NJ, which was initially a hotspot.There are no words to express the gratitude and appreciation I have for MSB, but I will try... We booked long before there was any inkling of an impending pandemic. It is a beautiful unique charm that can easily be transformed into your own dream wedding. Add the picturesque location with long rental window and stunning bridal suites, it has everything you need to make your dream wedding come true. However, the most important piece and best kept secret is the amazing staff and unparalleled service and support. Having planned our wedding a la carte, I thought we were booking a venue and the rest was up to us. But we ended up with so much more. They played a crucial role in making our wedding not only memorable but better than we could ever have imagined in the midst of a pandemic. From the very beginning, Kate reached out to all of the booked clients with options for rescheduling, which by the way were far more gracious than our contract allowed. They made it very clear that not only did they realize how devastating this entire process was for couples, but they were willing to do whatever possible to assist their clients. They were extremely flexible and generous. Rachel, the general manager, was an absolute god send. She went above and beyond multiple times to make sure our wedding day was everything and more. Kate was constantly adding things to make things easier for couples to have their cake and eat it too; like allowing you to keep your original date for a small elopement and reschedule your grand event for a later date. It was evident that MSB truly was created as a place to celebrate with the flexibility for you to make your wedding magical. Kate and the entire MSB staff are phenomenal and go above and beyond to ensure your wedding will be everything you dreamed of and more! They understand that your wedding day is one of the most memorable days in a lifetime and their passion for helping people achieve that truly shows. The day of our wedding, both of the event managers were extremely hands on and jumped in to make sure everything went smoothly. If you are on the fence about booking a venue due to the uncertainty this pandemic has caused and are considering MSB- DO IT! It’ll be one of the best decisions in the entire planning process you will make... A beautiful place with a compassionate, devoted, and skilled team!

Due to COVID I had to change up my plans and make everything for just immediate family. The Main Street Ballroom was the perfect place to have my ceremony! The beautiful barn doors and the chandelier that gave the venue such personality. Rachel and her team were super sweet and helpful during the entire event. They made my experience very fun and easy! MSB was the only venue we looked at because as soon as we walked inside, we fell in love. It has so much character and beauty and the unique pieces they have available for you to use were absolutely stunning. We used the space for the entire day since my bridesmaids and I got ready there in the morning. It was so relaxing to be able to see the space come together throughout the day and the venue offered the perfect space to do hair & makeup. Kate and the whole team were so easy to work with even as things were changing on a daily basis due to COVID which we could not have appreciated more. It is easy to have a beautiful wedding when it takes place at Main Street, we could not recommend it enough!

Kate was kind enough to let my fiancé and I use her amazing venue for a surprise proposal. She allowed us to use the entire space for a private dinner for two. She also helped find the best florist and photographer and helped coordinate the entire evening. Because of Kate, everything ran smoothly. She is so friendly and great to work with! The venue was gorgeous and was the perfect location for our engagement. We would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone!!!! Kate is the best!

Main St Ballroom was the perfect location for our wedding! The historic charm and style of the venue is the main reason we chose it. The stone walls and polished concrete floors paired with the string lights and chandeliers make a beautiful starting palette for any design vision. The bridal suite and grooms room were perfect spaces for us to get ready in, and we could stay separate the way the venue is laid out. It was AWESOME to have the venue from 8AM to midnight. You are able to bring in any vendors you want which provides freedom and flexibility. The space can handle a lot of people, but make sure to think about your floor plan and dinner preference (buffet or formal). We fit 190 in the bar room for cocktail hour with the barn doors closed, but it was very tight. We had a formal seated dinner with that number in the main ballroom, with plenty of room for a dance floor. Communication with the venue managers is quick and consistent throughout your planning process and day of managers are very helpful and available to you the day of your event. A little more expensive compared to some others, but the full day window, flexibility of vendors, unique charm of the venue, and positive helpful staff make it 100 % worth it! Mainstreet Ballroom was perfect! It had everything we needed and more with all the extras they offered! We could not have picked a better place to get married.

I can’t speak highly enough regarding Main Street Ballroom and their staff. The venue has a 16 hour window (8 AM - 12 AM) and they truly go above and beyond to help make your vision come to life. They also provide a huge amount of freedom, creatively and also with hiring other vendors. And I haven’t even talked about how truly beautiful the space is - it has such a cool, romantic, funky and industrial vibe. It matched my husband and I perfectly. Please consider hiring MSB because I know it will provide a perfect canvas for planning your perfect wedding.

When I first visited the space I loved it so much I didn't want to leave. This venue is a beautiful blank canvas that can suit any style. It's an added plus that the venue has cafe lights, chandeliers and lots of furniture free to use! And two pretty awesome prep suites. You really get your money's worth with this space. The whole MSB staff was super friendly and helpful through my planning process. The owner, Kate is awesome and our event manager, Jess, made sure our vendors had everything they needed on our wedding day. Thank you Main Street Ballroom for being a beautiful backdrop for our special day!

My husband and I loved having our wedding at MSB in October! We fell in love with the flexibility and beauty of the space - and the day of our wedding it was even more stunning (although I may be a little biased!) The twinkle lights and industrial pieces glowed during our reception and we received so many compliments on the entire space. All we had to bring in was added decorations because of the chairs and other furniture being included. This made our day so much easier since we had one less vendor to work with. I would recommend this venue to everyone and anyone! So beautiful and the staff are a dream to work with. Can we do it again?!

Main Street Ballroom turned out better than we could have possibly imagined. One of the concerns with having a wedding is your day going by in an instant. We did not want our special day to seem short lived. MSB's all-day availability really slowed our day down and allowed us to enjoy everything going on around us, nothing felt rushed! 8:30AM-11PM is a truly underrated feature. Bride and Groom Suites allowed both parties to spend time at the venue comfortably without running into each other. Outdoor patio worked great for our Cocktail hour we planned on having inside, and the staff was flexible enough to let us hang a floral piece that really helped set the ambiance we desired! Look at the pictures!!!

This place is amazing!!!!! A must for would be Brides!
