I have nothing but excellent things to say about Alyssa. When COVID hit and my husband and I needed to totally change our wedding plans, Alyssa with Mae Photo Co. seriously saved the day. After we cut our guest list from 120 to 20 guests, she helped us find a new venue for our intimate ceremony and reception, which ended up more beautiful than our original venue! She met with me over coffee and over the phone several times to work out the details for the day-of schedule and to reassure me that the day was going to be perfect...and it was! She makes you feel so comfortable during the engagement session and on your wedding day. On the day of the wedding, she kept things running smoothly and never missed a single detail of the day. She is so professional, truly cares about her clients, and her pictures are beyond amazing. She captured our special day perfectly. Hire Alyssa...you won't regret it!

Hiring Alyssa was the best decision we made for our wedding (besides getting married, of course🙃). She was incredibly helpful every step of the way - even when covid threw a wrench in all our wedding plans. She was willing to let me vent to her, and she was flexible when we changed plans. On our big day, she kept track of the timeline, bridal party, families, vendors, photo lists and everything else, all while making us feel calm and happy. She knows all the great photo spots in West Michigan, which was nice we didn't have to think about that at all. She was so much fun to be with all day, as was her second shooter, and she was such a pro at telling us how to pose (this was something I was a little nervous about!). Oh, and the photos turned out incredible!

I don’t think there are words to even describe how incredibly talented Alyssa is. She is not only an amazing photographer but she goes above and beyond. She LISTENS to her clients and she makes sure your day is exactly how you have it pictured in your head. (DO YOU HEAR ME BRIDES?! THIS IS HUGE!)

Alyssa is so fun to be around and to work with. She knew exactly how I wanted my wedding photos to look because she does her homework. She asks all the right questions and plans out your day accordingly. On my wedding day she knew where everyone needed to be at all times to make sure things ran smoothly.

She made us feel so comfortable and calm on our day, we did not worry about a thing because we knew Alyssa had things handled. She was not afraid to move people around or call the shots when she needed to to keep things on track.

Hands down we could not have made a better choice for our photographer. Alyssa is AMAZING. She completely put us at ease and not only were our pictures beautiful, but she did a great job at capturing our personality in each shot. Alyssa is an amazing person. She is kind, easy to get along with, professional, and so incredibly talented at what she does! Her service is spectacular - my husband and I had a blast with her during our engagement photo shoot and on our wedding day too! She was flexible and truly captured our love in a way I never thought possible. She hiked through Provin Trails and Robinette's Orchards to capture beautiful engagement photos. She totally went along with it when we asked if we could climb a tree for one of our engagement photos! On wedding day she helped organize our giant family - we had 19 people in our bridal party alone, and she did an amazing job rallying everyone and keeping the day organized. She took time later in the evening to take some special photos of my husband and I. It allowed us to get away from the dance floor for a break and soak up all the love on our wedding day. I've only seen three of our wedding photos so far - I will say that the first one my husband showed me made my eyes fill with tears. The picture was absolutely perfect. It is so beautiful. Alyssa was absolutely amazing to work with! From start to finish I had such a great experience with her. My preferred communication method is email, and she always responded so quickly and answered my questions very thoroughly. We had to reschedule our engagement session and she was so understanding and worked with us to find another date that would work. I had so many people tell me that how amazing and unique our engagement photos were, and I couldn't agree more! Not to mention that Alyssa made my husband and me feel so relaxed and comfortable the entire time. We got our engagement photos back within 2 weeks, and our wedding photos back within 4 weeks - you really can't beat that for a turnaround! Not to mention that we got TONS of photos, and every single one is of such high quality. Alyssa's second shooter for our wedding, Beth, was also so kind and fun to work with. I would hire Mae Photo Co. again in a second for any of my photography needs, and I will definitely be referring them to anyone looking for photos in West Michigan!

Alyssa is everything one could wish for in a photographer--- creative, kind, passionate, and detailed. She's extremely passionate about what she does: she tread through the snow for us for our engagement pictures and drove us around GR for our wedding pics! I've never heard of a wedding photographer as prompt to return high-quality images as Alyssa--- we had preview pics the next day AND all of our pics back in less than a month. We had our engagement pics back 3 days after the photo shoot! We will definitely ask Alyssa to photograph future events for us!
