In addition to both, she threw out the idea of doing an adventure shoot with us following our wedding day which entailed finding a location to hike, putting our wedding attire back on, and taking some incredible photos. Where do I even begin?
From the very beginning of our journey you have been completely irreplaceable. Your energy, assertiveness, willingness to not only try anything but also do whatever it takes and your genuine spirit made it so easy to feel comfortable with you.
Every photo you take is unique, well thought out but not necessarily planned. The candid shots you capture are just incredible. You can see the genuine happiness, love, ease and comfort. Looking through the photos you take puts the viewer directly into the moment, you don’t just see your photos but you feel them.
Your attention to detail is astounding, you are a true artist and I could not have imagined anyone else capturing our day.

Hiring Mackenzie was one of the easiest decisions we made when planning our wedding. She has been so helpful and consultative during the whole process, even when we had to completely change our plans (to like 90 miles away from her) she was still so flexible and easy to work with. She made us feel so relaxed when we both hate taking our pictures! Her work is gorgeous and I have gotten so any compliments on the quality of my photos. Mackenzie truly made our day awesome and everyone just loves her!!!!

Mackenzie is the BEST!! I am not someone that totally loves being photographed and not usually comfortable showing a ton of PDA, so I was nervous about getting pictures done but Mackenzie made it so natural and relaxing. My fiancé and I felt like we got to spend 2 hours running around, laughing, and flirting! I was so in awe with how our pictures came out! None of them were posed or over edited! It was just everything we wanted!

Captured us perfectly! She made us feel so comfortable and the light she captures in the pictures makes us want to look at each one for hours. I’m so happy I can relive the best day of my life over and over by looking at her pictures.

Mackenzie was highly recommended by a friend and she beyond exceeded our expectations. Aaron and I are both super camera shy and Mackenzie made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and wedding and captured so many amazing photos of us. Planning/having your wedding during a pandemic is nothing anyone could have been prepared for and Mackenzie was so kind and caring throughout the whole process. At the very beginning of the pandemic we had already booked 4 vendors. Of the 4 vendors, only 2 initiated communication in regards to everything going on and Mackenzie was one of them. Mackenzie was kind enough to postpone all of our remaining payments and was super supportive with whatever decisions we made. Ultimately, we decided to keep our original wedding date, but had to make a lot of changes and Mackenzie was so accommodating to all of our changes. Our wedding wasn’t a typical wedding given the current circumstances, but Mackenzie made us feel so special and captured all the special moments. She even sent us a few sneak peak photos before the end of the night. Aaron and I are so thankful we chose Mackenzie as our wedding photographer. She truly is such an amazing person and talented photographer and Aaron and I cannot wait for Mackenzie to capture even more memories for us.

Mackenzie is hands down one of the best. I first met Mackenzie when I was a bridesmaid for my friend’s wedding that she photographed a couple of years ago. Her attention to detail, creativity, and personality was something I knew I wanted for my special day. With COVID and rescheduling, we sadly were not able to schedule her for our wedding day, but I still wanted to incorporate her and her work in some way. So, we gratefully had her do our engagement photos.
