My husband and I got married this past August. We worked with Mackenzie for both our engagement and wedding photos, and I'm so glad we found her! She is truly a gem of a human. Not only is she extremely talented and has an incredible eye, but she's also one of the kindest most genuine humans. She made us feel so comfortable before our first session, throughout the entire planning process, and day of our wedding. We absolutely LOVE all of our photos and have several framed in our home. We highly recommend working with Mackenzie -- you will have gorgeous photos to look back on and also work with just a cool, down to earth person. -

Where do I even begin?
From the very beginning of our journey you have been completely irreplaceable. Your energy, assertiveness, willingness to not only try anything but also do whatever it takes and your genuine spirit made it so easy to feel comfortable with you.
Every photo you take is unique, well thought out but not necessarily planned. The candid shots you capture are just incredible. You can see the genuine happiness, love, ease and comfort. Looking through the photos you take puts the viewer directly into the moment, you don’t just see your photos but you feel them.
Your attention to detail is astounding, you are a true artist and I could not have imagined anyone else capturing our day.
A picture may be worth a thousand words but you are worth an endless amount. -

Hire Mackenzie if you want good wedding photos
Hiring Mackenzie was one of the easiest decisions we made when planning our wedding. She has been so helpful and consultative during the whole process, even when we had to completely change our plans (to like 90 miles away from her) she was still so flexible and easy to work with. She made us feel so relaxed when we both hate taking our pictures! Her work is gorgeous and I have gotten so any compliments on the quality of my photos. Mackenzie truly made our day awesome and everyone just loves her!!!! -

Absolutely AMAZING!
Mackenzie is the BEST!! I am not someone that totally loves being photographed and not usually comfortable showing a ton of PDA, so I was nervous about getting pictures done but Mackenzie made it so natural and relaxing. My fiancé and I felt like we got to spend 2 hours running around, laughing, and flirting! I was so in awe with how our pictures came out! None of them were posed or over edited! It was just everything we wanted! -

Outstanding person

We could not have hired a better photographer!!
Mackenzie was highly recommended by a friend and she beyond exceeded our expectations. Aaron and I are both super camera shy and Mackenzie made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and wedding and captured so many amazing photos of us. Planning/having your wedding during a pandemic is nothing anyone could have been prepared for and Mackenzie was so kind and caring throughout the whole process. At the very beginning of the pandemic we had already booked 4 vendors. Of the 4 vendors, only 2 initiated communication in regards to everything going on and Mackenzie was one of them. Mackenzie was kind enough to postpone all of our remaining payments and was super supportive with whatever decisions we made. Ultimately, we decided to keep our original wedding date, but had to make a lot of changes and Mackenzie was so accommodating to all of our changes. Our wedding wasn’t a typical wedding given the current circumstances, but Mackenzie made us feel so special and captured all the special moments. She even sent us a few sneak peak photos before the end of the night. Aaron and I are so thankful we chose Mackenzie as our wedding photographer. She truly is such an amazing person and talented photographer and Aaron and I cannot wait for Mackenzie to capture even more memories for us. -

Mackenzie is passionate, talented, and brings cheer to every photo
We hired Mackenzie for both our engagement and wedding day and will cherish the photos for our whole lives. She is energetic, funny, and easy to get along with - all traits I didn’t know we’d need or want in a photographer - but now I am so grateful for. When our 200-person wedding in Providence turned into a 12-person trolley ride/party around the state of RI, she was one of the first people I called. She helped us think through the light, the setting, the important moments, and everything in between. To us, her photos are art! When I’m old and gray, I’ll look back on the photos she took of me in my wedding gown and my husband in his tux and feel lucky that we get to live our beautiful lives together - THATS what her photography invokes. -

Mackenzie made all of my boho wedding dreams come true! I wanted a non traditional wedding day photographer who would shoot some awesome ceremony/family/couple photos and Mackenzie showed up and did just that! She was flexible with the amount of hours I needed her there for and made taking photos so enjoyable and not awkward at all! I am literally obsessed with how these photos have turned out and tell everyone to book with her! She listens to your wants and makes them happen! Cannot say enough good things! Thankful for Instagram and having an awesome feed to see her work! -

Simply amazing!
I don’t even know where to begin, but I am SO glad I found Mackenzie! She was the first photographer I reached out to back in early 2019 after my engagement in December of 2018. Right from the beginning I knew she was the one! The professionalism, quick responses & intelligence is what quickly drew me in! We had our engagement shoot in July 2019 & they were more than I could have asked for! They were simply amazing! I also did a boudoir session with her in June of 2020 & holy crap!!! They came out PERFECT! Mackenzie made me feel so comfortable in my own skin & really knows how to make you feel beautiful! Now onto our wedding, we just got married on 9.12.20 & I am at a loss for words! Writing this I am crying because wow! The sneak peaks that she already sent the day after our wedding are ABSOLUTE STUNNING! Mackenzie spent all day with us from getting ready to our sparkler send off. She captured the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen in my entire life! Not only was she the best photographer she was there to help me with whatever I needed, even if it didn’t have to do with taking a photo with no hesitation. She is just simply perfection, a true light in life & we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. Not only do I have a great photographer for life but I gained a great friend for life! Every experience with Mackenzie has been so natural and awesome! She did our engagement photos two years ago and although we were nervous, she made it so fun and enjoyable. Something that makes Mackenzie stand out is her passion and compassion. When COVID hit and changed our wedding plans, Mackenzie was not only flexible but offered such encouraging and uplifting words in a time of uncertainly it brought me to tears. She ended up photographing our microwedding and got the most beautiful shots of us, our dog (very important) and all our family and friends. I was blown away! I can't wait to do it all again next year for our big wedding and know I can count on Mackenzie for stellar pictures! I'd been following Mackenzie's work on social media and I couldn't WAIT for the opportunity to work with her! My fiancé and I were fortunate enough to shoot with her this summer and working with her was a blast. We've been engaged for two years and never had an engagement session done and frankly, didn't really care for one because of how awkward photoshoots can be. Mackenzie went above and BEYOND making sure we were our absolute selves, embraced our awkwardness, and took amazing photos! We were even sent teasers within the hour of leaving the shoot. Cannot say enough good things about her, her work, and wanting to hire her for our wedding too! -

Our experience with Mackenzie was pure bliss. She photographed our "first look" and wedding photos and they came out amazing! We had a small intimate wedding but she captured the significant moments with elegance that we will treasure forever. She is a beautiful person inside and out, creative, easy to work with and her work just says it all. She was very organized and definitely has a good eye for the perfect shot. As a couple, we are really not good with having our pictures taken but she made us feel comfortable and let us be ourselves instead of doing awkward poses. I could not be happier with how the pictures came out, they were perfect in every way. When I look at our wedding album, it takes me back to that moment which I think is what makes a photographer truly amazing. Mackenzie, thank you for capturing our special day for us! -

We adore Mackenzie!!
Mackenzie was amazing - she has been a great person to work with and we plan to have her as our lifelong photographer. Our initial meeting was great - she made us feel like we had known her our whole lives. When it came time to schedule our engagement session, she coached us to make us feel like it wouldn't be awkward and that we would love it and she was right - we had a BLAST and the photos were outstanding. When we had to discuss scheduling our wedding day and arrival times, she was so easy going and sent a schedule that helped us blend our day perfectly. She also made me feel better about the little things that were stressing me out. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond. It felt like she wasn't even taking pictures, yet she took SO MANY. She also made us feel so loved all day. One thing that made John and I feel so happy, was that her fiance, Ryan, was our second shooter. He has been a close family friend for many years. We were honored to have them work together as a team. Overall, Mackenzie was outstanding - she makes you feel so comfortable and her work is out of this world. We are in love with her style. Everything is beyond beautiful. Thank you for everything!!! We love you! -

Amazing photographer!!
There was no doubt in our minds that we wanted to have Mackenzie photograph our wedding! Her style, creativity, knowledge, professionalism, and flexibility are just some of her qualities that influenced our decision. She guided us through the whole process, giving us so many great ideas and suggestions.
For our engagement shoot, she was so kind to help incorporate our energetic puppy into our photos and worked around our crazy schedules to find a time that worked best for us.
For our wedding day, we had a quick change in weather as we were heading to the venue which resulted in having to rework our schedule. Mackenzie quickly came up a new plan for how we would proceed and it went on seamlessly! Turns out the sky after a hailstorm is a perfect backdrop for photos! We were able to enjoy our day AND fit in all the photos that we had hoped for without feeling stressed or rushed. She captured the whole day perfectly, and we are forever grateful!
Overall, Mackenzie is an amazing person and a talented photographer and we are so incredibly thankful to have had her photograph our special day! Thank you Kenz, we love you! -

Wedding 8-24-19
Mackenzie gave us a truly amazing experience for our wedding and whole wedding process. She shot out engagement pictures in a location of our choice because it was sort of sentimental to us. I really can’t describe how perfect they came out, a picture is worth a thousand words lol. She made us look like we were in a magazine (which we ended up in anyway!!) And when nerves set in for the big day and I had questions to ask, she was always right there with a calm professional response that made me feel so comfortable. Looking back at our wedding pictures now help us remember the day perfectly, she captured every moment and in a beautiful way. I swear Mackenzie could take a picture of me brushing my teeth and it would look sooo good. I loved having her and Ryan part of my day. They are light, genuine, talented people. And I plan to have them with me at all my major life events forever. -

I don’t even know where to begin! MacKenzie was absolutely amazing from the very beginning!
She was always prompt to meet for meetings, and was always very responsive to my random question texts & emails.
Before our wedding, I had a boudoir shoot and I thought I was going to be really uncomfortable, but MacKenzie made me feel confident and so good in my own skin.
She got all of my best angles and the pictures were so flattering but still captured who I am.
When it came time for our wedding, I was so crazy stressed out and whenever we talked, she calmed my nerves letting me know that she would remember the poses/pictures I wanted to get.
Before our wedding, MacKenzie went to our venue and took amazing pictures of the small details that truly made our wedding “ours” and I love looking back on them already.
Our wedding pictures literally took my breath away, and I stayed up all night to look at them! Again, she captured our best angles and all of our pictures are flattering and so genuine. They’re not just posed pictures, I feel that they show the real us.
I am so thankful that we chose MacKenzie to be our wedding photographer; she will certainly be our go-to photographer for all of the big moments in our lives 🖤 -

A truly perfect woman!
If you are looking for someone who will make you feel like the most beautiful person ever all while making you laugh and feel so comfortable, you have found the right person. Mackenzie is not only an incredibly talented photographer who will go above and beyond to give you perfect photos (even climbing rock faces while tackling crashing waves... which she did for us lol), but she will make you feel so comfortable and confident while doing it. She shot both our engagement photos and wedding and we could not be more thrilled with the way they came out. Her style is natural and all of her best photos she captures when you don’t even realize she’s shooting. We get so many compliments on our photos and it is all thanks to this amazing woman! To sum it up she is both an exceptional photographer and an equally exceptional person. We look forward to having Mackenzie by our side to capture all of the special moments in our future! -

We cannot thank Mackenzie enough for following us to a tree farm in mid-February in order to recreate our proposal. This girl was up for any adventure and made the entire session a breeze for two people awkward and in love. She captured our love, silliness and the light of sun in a way not many photographers can. Mackenzie was recommended to my by another photographer during my wedding vendor search, and I could not be happier with the recommendation. From our first meeting, Mackenzie was prepared, accommodating, and made me feel like no matter what - my photographs would be beautiful. My husband and I really got to know her during our engagement session, and by the time our wedding came around, I felt as though we were being photographed by a friend.
Mackenzie did an excellent job capturing all of the important moments from our wedding. From the hair salon to the ceremony to all the details of the reception, I now have beautiful photographs to remember my wedding by. She was a hit with out entire wedding party, handling bridal party and family group photos (full of rowdy people) with ease. She also took advantage of our surroundings, and was able to use the backgrounds in creative ways to get the best photos possible.
I cannot say enough how much I love our photos. They are absolutely gorgeous, and even over a year later I am still obsessed with them. Mackenzie did an incredible job editing them, with beautiful lighting and use of color. I have prints of the photos all over my house, my desk at work, and am filling up our families walls as well.
To sum it up, I cannot recommend Mackenzie enough. She made our wedding photography an amazing experience, and not only do I feel like I've found a friend, but I know I have an incredible photograph to document the rest of my life's important moments.

Mackenzie was amazing!!! Not only did she photograph our wedding, she did our engagement photos too!
Engagement: We didn’t have a typical engagement session!! She came out to us in a blizzard, where we then went to a park down the street to take the pictures! We honestly got the most amazing photos during the storm and the 3 of us had so much fun!! The pictures came out amazing because it was all natural laughter. She was able to come up with quick ideas of where to stand and what to do! Because of the snow, my hair started to get curly after a while (it was straight to start) and Mackenzie just happened to have on the perfect hat herself that matched my outfit and she offered it for me to wear for some of the ending pictures! Me wearing her hat left her head exposed to the snow instead but she was more than happy to do what she had to do to get the best shots! We actually ended up picking one with her hat and one without for our favorites!!!
Wedding: Mackenzie had a lot of great ideas for the pictures and we were able to work out certain setups before the big day. We even went with her videographer Ryan Gilman who did a great job too! He was able to help her get the best shots! Both of them were fun and made it fun for all of us! Mackenzie was punctual for the morning. She started the morning at our house where the Groom and Groomsmen were getting ready. She was able to capture lots of great pictures of them and keep them on schedule! (Had to make sure they wouldn’t show up a mess) She then came to the hotel where I was getting ready full glam squad with my bridemaids. She got amazing pictures of the natural light in the room and found places for me to take pictures. Mackenzie was even great with adjusting to a quick change of plans. My grandma had fallen and was in a rehab and unable to make it to my wedding. I asked Mackenzie if it would be ok to make a quick stop at the rehab facility (where luckily it was on the way from the church to the reception) she followed the limo and came in with us! She got great pictures that my Gram will be able to keep! Mackenzie was awesome when getting the bridal party together too! I’m sure that’s a hassle because no one is paying attention but she was able to get us all together and get all the pictures I wanted! She even found time for just Kyle and I to get the best seasonal shots! She made us feel so special! We got married in the fall just as the leaves were starting to change. We got pictures with a huge tree starting to change colors, then the sky happened to turn pinks and yellows and blues and she was able to capture that too! The reception was a blast!!! She hit all the marks on everything I wanted!! My husband and I even broke out in a fast dance during our first song and she got great pictures! Ryan, the videographer was able to capture the whole thing too! It was perfect! I’m pretty sure that Mackenzie was having a good time taking the pictures and I know I saw her smiling all day and night!
We got our pictures back within a good amount of time and they were better than I expected!! You could say I’m obsessed with them for sure!
Everything was documented beautifully and I would highly highly highly recommend Mackenzie! In fact, I’ll have to book her again real soon for myself because my husband and I are expecting and we want her to do our newborn shoot!!!
Advice: Pick Mackenzie for your special day or event and you won’t regret it!!!!

Mackenzie photographed 4 different events over the course of a year for my husband and I leading up to our wedding, We first hired her to shoot our engagement photos. We wanted beach photos so she took us to a beautiful location she knew of in Westerly, RI. It was an extremely windy day and we could not control the sand blowing past us and my hair blowing in my face but Mackenzie stayed determined and captured such amazing photos that you would never know the behind the scenes craziness of our day! We had such an great experience and absolutely loved her photography that we asked her if she would travel to Mexico with us to shoot our destination wedding. She agreed and we could not have been happier!
As we prepared for our wedding I knew I also wanted to give my husband a boudoir album as a wedding gift. I booked my boudoir shoot with Mackenzie. It is obviously a little nerve wracking to get in front of the camera in just lingerie but she made me feel super comfortable and we laughed through the whole thing! The shoot was honestly so much fun and the photos came out so beautiful. My husband loved the gift!
Next, my mother and girlfriends hired Mackenzie to photograph my bridal shower. I am so grateful she was there to capture all the thoughtful details that my bridal party worked so hard on to make it such a special occasion. The floral centerpieces, the donut desserts and all the moments shared with my favorite ladies - she got it all on camera! She also helped my mom create a very touching photo slideshow that was displayed that day.
Lastly, Mackenzie then packed up her equipment and flew with us to photograph our destination wedding in Mexico. From the day we landed she was on point! We pretty much planned our wedding through email with the resort and did not actually see anything in person until we actually got there. Mackenzie came with us to meetings with our coordinator, DJ and videographer on the first few days of our trip and was super professional and knowledgeable when working with our other vendors. She agreed to wrangle our 70 wild guests in matching t-shirts for an epic group photo session and photograph our wedding party "rehearsing" in our swimsuits on the beach in the days before our wedding. On the day of, she was with me and my bridal party bright and early at the spa as we got ready, she bounced back and fourth all over the resort to keep up with our agenda for the day and was with us until the night ended. My husband was a total "bride-zilla" (haha) and Mackenzie handled his craziness like a true professional! Props to her for putting up with him! Every moment of our wedding day was captured perfectly and we are over-the-moon happy with our photos.
She will surely be our go-to for all future photography opportunities in our lives and we continue to recommend her to our friends and family. We look forward to a long-lasting relationship with an incredible woman and very talented photographer - we are happy to have her be a part of the most special times in our lives! -

Mackenzie is a talented photographer and very easy to work with. She was very clear with what she needed from me and my husband, and was efficient in ensuring that our “must have” shots were taken before family members dispersed to the cocktail hour. She is agreeable and easy going, yet focused enough that I was relaxed because I knew I could trust her. I never felt like the flow of the day was interrupted for a picture - she just managed to get it! And of course, the pictures came out amazing! I’ve only seen the preview - which came quickly - but I am in love and can’t wait to see them all! Book with Mackenzie!! -

Breathtakingly beautiful!
I've been following Mackenzie's work for years on social media, dreaming of the day she'd be able to shoot my engagement and wedding photos some day. When I finally got engaged, Mackenzie was the first person I reached out to! She got back to me right away, and went with the flow of ideas I kept bouncing off of her when I had literally not one clue what I wanted for a wedding. When she shot our engagement pictures she made my husband and I feel relaxed and special. When the photos came in, I was totally blown away by how beautiful they were. I've never been one to admire myself in any photos, but I found myself complimenting myself for the first time ever looking at her photos. They were better than I'd ever imagined, and I had really high hopes! On our wedding day, we had a really big wedding wedding party, and Mackenzie rolled with the punches all day long. She shot our wedding on one of the last days in October with the fall foliage in full swing. I'd recommend Mackenzie over and over again. The style of her photography went perfectly with not only the whole vibe of the wedding, but who we are as people and as a couple. Thank you Mackenzie! -
