We hired Luxe Event Productions as our full service wedding planner shortly after getting engaged. It was hands down the BEST DECISION WE MADE in our year long engagement leading up to getting married! Misty and her team (Anna, Brooke, Lauren, Alex, and Alexia)) deserve more thanks than we could ever give them! Luxe is the the best in Portland. They have wedding planning down to a science and you will be blown away at the finished product. They work with only the best vendors, they will make sure your wedding is unlike any other and most importantly they truly care about you as people. We never knew that we weren't their only client. They take time to get to know you, engage in your life outside of wedding planning and make sure that all your dreams regarding your wedding come to life. What makes Luxe work is their team of dedicated individuals who all bring unique talents to the table, run by Misty who pulls all those talents together to produce an amazing outcome. Planning a wedding is stressful and Misty was there to be our sounding board every step of the way. We are not easy to please and at times we didn't give Misty lots to go off of, but she knocked our wedding into the next dimension of amazing. I have tears coming to my eyes as I type this thinking back on the day we walked into our venue and how perfect EVERY SINGLE thing looked. Luxe Event Productions was worth every penny we spent. One of the things David and I have talked about since wedding day is how much we were able to enjoy or day and not have to worry about anything. We had a huge vendor list and lots of moving parts that needed to come together. We walked in on the day of and from beginning to end we didn't have to worry about a single thing. And our family and guests didn't have to worry about anything either. We lived in the moment and Luxe was in the background ensuring our every need was catered to. Warning, long review ahead, but Luxe Events was completely worth and amazing at what they do:
I would definitely work with Luxe again if I could. I don’t think there could be a better coordination team out there. We hired Luxe for my wedding for the Day-of coordination, which is my first regret. If budget wasn’t an issue, I would’ve hired them to do full service planning if I could. We got the pleasure of working with Allison, who ended up being a perfect match. She was very knowledgeable and was a professional throughout the process. She made sure I was on tract the entire process. I had to plan an extremely large wedding (400+) in Portland from Texas with a notoriously critical family, but she made it easy for me. She kept me on track with all of my tasks and was always available by email with any questions. Fast forward to the day of the event, Allison made sure I was completely hands off (which is hard to do since I’m kind of a control freak). She made sure that we had everything we needed at all times. She knew exactly when to pull us away from the crowds so we can just enjoy being in the moment. She made every transition go smoothly with a crazy, 400+ Asian wedding. When her time ran out, she was flexible when we asked if she could stay. We would recommend Allison to EVERYONE. Last thing about Luxe, if you are questioning whether you want the “end of the night” package, don’t even hesitate. It is your wedding day, and your family and guests are there to celebrate you, not to clean up the little details. This package was completely worth it and I’m so glad they offer something like this, which is very unique compared to the other coordination companies we talked to. Thank you again to Luxe and Allison. You guys are the absolute best. Can we plan our wedding part 2?!

My daughter's wedding was last Saturday, 9/22, and we are still basking in the glow of a perfect day. She lives out of state, works full time, and is in grad school. With a quick five month engagement I was enlisted to take the lead in planning. Between our conversations and her Pinterest boards I had a fairly clear vision of how they wanted their wedding to be. I knew I wanted a wedding coordinator because I wanted other people in charge on the day, to execute our plans. Not only were the ladies at Luxe flawless in fully implementing our vision, they organized the other vendors, dealt with the prospect of rain and created and ran the timeline. We chose the Extended Day of Coordination package. Brooke and CeCelia provided help with vendor selections and assisted with our communication with vendors. They took us on a site walk and we discussed options for set up and a rainplan. They were always available, throughout the entire process, providing answers to our questions and direction. They held monthly scheduled phone meetings with the bride, and followed up with to-do lists for her and themselves. 9 days before the wedding day there was rain in the forecast. Even though our rainplan called for double purposing and flipping the ballroom the bride really wanted to stay with the original plan and have the ceremony on the lawn. Luxe secured a clear top tent and tirelessly worked out logistics for set up between the rental agency, the venue and the caterer. They also swooped in to rent 60 white golf umbrellas. I am positive they were successful in these last minute arrangements when I would not have been, due to much competition for these items. Despite the hours they spent working out our new rainplans, they left the tent/no tent call to us- with a 9:00 am decision time on the wedding day. Although it rained hard earlier that day the bride decided- no tent. It was a great call. Luxe was with us and for us the entire way. They were the BEST CHOICE! highly recommended!
The Luxe Team are rockstars. We've worked with them on several events and have been so impressed with their creative ability. We worked with Misty on a stunning affair at the Lewis and Clark campus, that just blew our minds. One of the most beautiful events we've ever seen.
The professionals at Luxe can do it all, from beginning to end, when it comes to planning and executing your wedding for and with you. I've officiated at a couple of weddings they've produced for clients and I was impressed.
Misty at Luxe events is quite the hard worker. She runs not only here event planning company but also runs several wedding trade shows too. We haven't DJ'd too many weddings with her company but when we do, they are always well managed, run smoothly, and on time. And so do her trade shows. If you ask us, we'd recommend Luxe.
