Planning a wedding essentially boils down to a million little decisions. From vendors, to linens and decor, to invitations, to your dress, the list is endless. But arguably the most important decision you’ll make is choosing the person who will help orchestrate it all. For me, that was also the easiest decision I made throughout the entire process: hiring Rebecca.

From our very first phone call, I was hooked. Rebecca was candid, honest, incredibly knowledgeable, and generous with her advice before I had even hired her. I immediately knew she was the person I wanted in my corner. What I didn’t know at the time was just how grateful I would be to have her there.

I got married in Montauk in September 2026, on what turned out to be the weekend of a massive nor’easter. Our wedding was supposed to be entirely outdoors, with a tented reception, and our venue didn’t have a suitable indoor alternative. We had never been particularly concerned about the weather because we had a tent, and that was our rain plan. Well, as it turns out, no amount of planning could have prepared us for what happened next.
On Thursday morning, just 48 hours before our wedding, we learned that our tent permit was being revoked due to the storm’s projected winds. Suddenly, we had no reception venue.

What happened next was nothing short of extraordinary. Through Rebecca and our venue’s connections, we were able to secure a newly renovated indoor reception hall just down the road at the Montauk Playhouse. Her relationships, reputation, and the trust she had built over the years quite literally saved our wedding.

By Thursday afternoon, we had an entirely new venue and a completely revised plan. Rebecca worked around the clock coordinating with every vendor, redirecting rentals, reworking logistics, and ensuring that every detail of our original vision was preserved. And somehow, against all odds, she pulled it off flawlessly.

The most incredible part is that if you had walked into our reception that Saturday, you would have never known that the entire wedding had been relocated just two days earlier. We had our beautiful tables and decor, our seated dinner, our exact menu and bar, our dance floor, our flowers, and every detail we had spent months planning. The only thing that changed was the location. Rebecca and our incredible vendor team made that possible.

Throughout the weekend, people kept coming up to me saying, “I can’t believe you pulled this off!” And my response every single time was, “I didn’t do anything. My planner saved the day!”

But what makes Rebecca so special goes far beyond how she handled an unprecedented wedding-day crisis. Throughout the entire planning process, she was an invaluable source of guidance, reassurance, and genuinely sage advice. She made an overwhelming process feel manageable, was always quick to respond to my texts about whatever I happened to be stressing over that day, and was an incredible advocate to have by my side at vendor meetings and appointments. She has impeccable taste, an extraordinary attention to detail, and the kind of experience and judgment that you simply cannot put a price on. I trusted her implicitly, and she never once gave me a reason not to.

One thing Rebecca always told me throughout the planning process was that, rain or shine, my wedding would be the best weekend of my life, and that I just needed to trust her. Admittedly, when we found out a massive storm was going to land directly on our wedding day, I was more than a little skeptical. But when I finally walked into our reception and saw how beautifully everything had come together, I went straight over to Rebecca and said, “You were right.” And she was.

I may not have gotten the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour I had originally envisioned, but I had the most incredible weekend of my life. I was overwhelmed with love, joy, and gratitude, and I truly wouldn’t change a thing.

I will be forever grateful to Rebecca for giving us the wedding we had dreamed of, even when the circumstances seemed impossible. Hiring her was, without question, the best decision I made throughout the entire planning process.

Rebecca was exceptionally diligent throughout the planning process and made everything feel remarkably stress-free thanks to her organization, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail. Every vendor exceeded our expectations.

We could not have been happier with how the weekend turned out, and Rebecca was truly a joy to work with from start to finish. I only wish I could relive this weekend over and over again.

What can I say about Rebecca other than she is absolutely amazing! She helped my husband, Zach, and I with every detail of planning our wedding and she did not skip a beat! She is super professional and gets to the point, but has such a warm heart and gets to know you on a personal level too. From the very first Zoom session, we knew Rebecca was the planner for us! Whenever we had a question, she was there to answer them, or even if we just wanted to chat, she was always there too. I cannot recommend Rebecca highly enough! Throughout my wedding planning journey, I met many vendors who said they were flexible and could think outside the box to help make the couple's vision a reality. Rebecca is one of the only vendors who said that and meant it. There are a few reasons I would highly recommend Rebecca. (1) Her offerings are flexible and reflect the fact that different people need different things. A few planners that I spoke with told me they don't offer a partial planning option because the planners feel there is no such thing, that they get sucked into full planning. That is completely untrue because partial planning is exactly what Rebecca did for me. She is one of the only people I found who offered this and it was exactly what I needed. She provided critical advice and counsel at key moments of the planning process and then came in 3 months out to take all the stress and operational/vendor alignment work off my plate. I went into the wedding pretty stress-free and knew that Rebecca had everything covered because she had enough exposure to my decisions along the way and had managed all vendor comms for 3 months. (2) Rebecca doesn't just fall back on a template. I've found that vendors get stuck in their ways and get used to doing things a certain way. Rebecca certainly weighed in if she felt the status quo was in place for a very good reason, but she was always open and very supportive when I wanted to do things a different way and helped me make it a reality. (3) Rebecca goes above and beyond. In fact, it was so clear to me that I had to work with Rebecca when she went out of the way to help me schedule a venue tour and work through details with that venue about securing a date before I ever even signed on with her. She could help and she wanted to help regardless of if I selected her as my planner.

Could not recommend Rebecca more highly. On the day of the wedding, I didn't think or worry about a thing - I was completely present.

We waited until the last minute to make the decision, and turned to Rebecca for her advice. She guided us with such calm and in end the made the right decision (to have the ceremony in the tent).

They made the ceremony set up look gorgeous! It was perfect in every way, just magical. The bride and groom ( and parents) couldn't be happier!!
