Writing this is so difficult because there's just so much to say about Leah. She is amazing and professional and obviously cares so so so much about each couple she works for. She made me and my husband feel so comfortable taking photos, even when it was raining and cold and otherwise slightly miserable outside. She captured amazing candid photos and it never felt like a chore doing the posed ones. She's friendly and nice and saw that I was feeling overwhelmed during a particularly busy moment of the night and advocated for me to get a break. Her photos are breathtaking and she works so hard it felt like she was in a thousand different places at once but it never felt like she was in the way or out of place. The teasers I got back have blown away every single person who has seen them and they're so amazing I want to print every single one and tape them to every surface of my home so I can look at them constantly. I have included my favorite shot from the night but I could have chosen any one of them to showcase. Honestly, my wedding wouldn't have been as magical without her.

We had so much fun with Leah at our 6am engagement shoot in DC and have shots that will be appreciated in our home for the rest of our lives. Our wedding day was seamless and beautifully photographed, with all the key moments included. Leah worked with Perscilla as a second shooter who was equally as fun and dedicated. Leah is awesome. We couldn’t have had a better person on our team for our wedding. Even leading up to the day, Leah called us, texted us, and got to know us as well as our desires for the wedding day. She is funny, laid back, great at improvising and problem-solving on the spot, and doing it all with a smile. She gives a sense of professionalism that made all our family and friends feel comfortable and have fun while we “wrangled cats” getting them all together for group pictures. The style, aesthetic, and composition of her photos are all such a vibe! We had so many special little moments that she captured even when we had no idea she was looking. She also sent us teasers before our full gallery was ready so we could give people wedding photos as holiday and birthday presents! Leah truly went above and beyond, and was like a long-time friend at our event who also happened to be our photographer. This is the type of person you want to entrust with capturing beautiful memories on your special day!

Leah was such a gift to our wedding day! Her super generous offer to shoot our local elopement put us at ease during an uneasy time in the world, and the energy brought to celebrate us was contagious!

Leah was incredibly flexible as we faced some unplanned chaos and weather. Our photos turned out SO beautifully and were such a gift to us! She captured every special moment, and it is a life-long gift being able to look back on them.

Leah is the actual BEST. She is an insanely talented photographer and artist, and she is also an amazing human. She collaborated so well with all our other vendors throughout the wedding and captured a beautiful mix of classic portraits (that still didn’t look stiff) and meaningful candid moments. When she sent us our previews, I immediately was transported to my favorite moments of our day- because she was quietly by my side the entire time and captured every special interaction. Leah is fun and an easy presence- our whole family loved her! She was also efficient with a series of family photos and squeezing in golden hour shots so we could still enjoy happy hour. She listened to our requests, collaborated with me on our shot list, and delivered images that were lit and composed perfectly. Hire her!  Your day will be so much better with Leah there.

Leah was nothing short of amazing. We knew Leah through some friends and after looking at her portfolio, we knew she was the one for our elopement. We started with an awesome introductory call where Leah gave us the full run down on everything possible and we couldn't wait for more. The engagement photo shoot we started with was so fun! Leah made it super easy, scoped out places prior to our pictures, and made sure that we felt at ease in front of the camera. The pics turned out great and we got them so fast! Then came the day of our elopement which was everything we could have asked for and more. Leah got a list of pictures that we definitely wanted beforehand and made sure to get all of those pictures and then some! The turn around time on our pictures was incredible and everyone is obsessed with how good they look. Leah's professionalism coupled with her ability to make us feel natural and comfortable in front of the camera is AMAZING and I would highly highly highly recommend her!

Leah was an absolute dream to work with for our Richmond wedding. From first reach-out through the editing process, Leah has been warm and transparent in our conversations and made us feel extremely confident going into our wedding day. Leah is such a brilliant photographer and exactly the right vibe you want for your wedding (and probably all other important events).
