For over 100 years, Le Tournesol has been a private estate just North of Brawley, CA. Keeping with the original framework of the estate, Grace and Clyde Edgar, the current owners, have transformed this 1914 home into a one-of-a-kind experience. Grace has partnered with her daughter, Robyn, to share their extensive event planning background with those seeking the ultimate venue destination. Le Tournesol can host private parties, weddings, or any special events, creating memories that will last forever. Grace and Robyn want to share their special family farm with others.
There are very few outdoor wedding venues in Brawley and trust me this one is your best choice. The grounds can easily accommodate the largest of weddings or still feel intimate with a small group. The space is well manicured but not overly styled so that all themes and/or decorating schemes will be right at home! We had a vintage themed wedding which paired well with the venue. We were married in February and chose to have the ceremony only at Le Tournesol. Robyn and Grace are wonderful help and very accommodating as I made many visits to the site prior to the wedding. Contact was always promptly delivered. Now for the details...the bridal suite is fabulous and takes great photos! We spent much of our afternoon there prior to the wedding. We had a very small wedding party which worked out well as I wouldn't recommend getting ready fully with a large group at the venue. The house itself also serves as a wonderful backdrop for photos and really accentuates the grounds. Parking is ample and they did provide help in guiding guests. If your guests are not local, I highly recommend providing written directions to the venue. If there is any chance of weather I would recommend you make accommodations early. The wind was a bit of challenge (February) but actually made for nice shots. We utilized the back of the house for our ceremony for a bit of protection from the wind. There really isn't a bad view from any angle on the property. The grove makes for especially beautiful pictures!!

Beautiful wedding experience!
Le Tournesol is a beautiful, magical place as a wedding venue! The size of the property can accommodate very large parties, and also relatively small ones. The property has many flexible options! When looking for an outdoor wedding venue in my area, it simply had no comparison. I loved the Farm/Ranch look, the cafe lights spread across the property, and their newly built semi-enclosed structure that helped keep my guests warm during my chilly January wedding. The family is very experienced in wedding planning and hosting, making my stressful wedding planning experience much easier! The day of my wedding, I only had to worry about getting myself ready and not much else! Plus, the olive vineyards and surrounding fields provide the perfect sunset photos. My wedding photographs were better than I could have ever imagined! Best night of my life, hands down!
