Laura Remmert Events is a full service event planning firm offering planning, coordination and consulting for weddings and private parties as well as corporate and not-for-profit events.

Balancing creativity with logistics is our specialty. We work closely with our clients to determine, vision, priorities and aesthetic. Utilizing our extensive network of vendors and service providers and our experience and expertise in all things events, we put together a plan to bring your vision to life.

About Laura -

Laura Remmert lives in Brooklyn Heights where she runs her event planning and design firm. With close to 10 years of experience in special events, Laura brings a fresh approach to event and wedding planning as well as event design.

As a recent bride herself, Laura is able to connect with her brides about the planning process and offer advice, organization and a listening ear whenever necessary. Laura’s energy and passion for all things events is obvious the minute you begin speaking with her about your event and your vision.

After graduating from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a double major in Business Administration and Communications, Laura spent time in Albany working for the City of Albany Office of Special Events and Classe Catering. The majority of Laura’s event experience has taken place in New York City at the Council on Foreign Relations – Harold Pratt House where she held the position of Associate Director of Special Events. During her time at CFR, Laura assisted in the planning, logistics and design of annual events for CFR members as well as a variety of weddings, social events and corporate/not-for-profit events that have taken place at the Harold Pratt House and Peterson Hall.

Since beginning Laura Remmert Events in Fall 2010, Laura has had the opportunity to work on events throughout the NYC area at venues such as the Pratt House, Metropolitan Opera, Blue Hill at Stone Barnes, Bronx Zoo and Bryant Park in addition to destination events in Costa Rica, Harbour Island, Anguilla, the Berkshires and East Hampton.
