We recently catered a wonderful 50th Anniversary Celebration at Lakewold Gardens, I absolutely have to say that the Wagner House has never looked better or more inviting. Having been a preferred caterer at Lakewold for more than thirty years, and having worked under the supervision of many, many Venue Directors, I am thrilled to see all the additions that Venue Director, Ms. Jordan Moll has brought to the venue.

The warmth of the soft seating, the greenery, the artwork, the furniture pieces as well as the abundant smiles and expertise of Ms. Moll and Ms. Kathryn Castleberry have added the sorely needed welcoming elements to the Wagner House, which, in recent history, have been missing.

There is a palpable difference to the venue that is hard not to notice! It feels “alive”! I am quite sure that Corydon and Eulalie Wagner’s souls, as well as Judy and Corydon Jr.’s, are also thrilled that Corydon Jr.’s childhood home and Eulalie’s gorgeous gardens, have newfound personality and appreciation from all the many guests that grace the venues halls and enjoy the spectacular grounds.

I commend, enthusiastically, your choice of Ms. Jordan Moll, as the Venue Director and steward of Lakewold Gardens. She and Ms. Castleberry’s respect for Lakewold Gardens is abundantly obvious. As a caterer I am honored every time one of my clients selects the Gardens for their very special celebration knowing that Ms. Moll’s and Ms. Castleberry’s influences are reflected in memories that will last a lifetime.

We LOVED working with Jordan! She's relatively new to the venue, but has experience as a wedding planner and florist. We wanted low-key microwedding with 20ppl on short notice (2mos). We got lucky because September was off-peak so we were able to get a Sat relatively last minute. She gave fantastic advice and was extremely responsive to our many questions! The venue itself was beautiful. You can't go wrong here!

They have a very nice set of rooms upstairs in the house for preparation, with attached private bathroom. There's an indoor area and outdoor area, and you get free range during the event, so you can choose where and how to set things up. There's also bluetooth speakers you can use (we just did a playlist and connected our phones). They have tables and chairs included, and I bought some cheap linens online (I underestimated the amount of work of ironing them though).

We were trying to keep costs down and went with a small caterer, but in retrospect, I wish we looked into a food truck. Food is the most expensive part of everything! They charge extra to not use one of their preferred vendors, but there was a perfect place for them to park if that would have been allowed.

Beautiful venue for pictures! We haven't gotten our official ones back yet so I don't have anything professional to add, but attached are a couple of snapshots.

My husband and I got married here on August 30th and we had an amazing experience! We were a little nervous at first (from some bad reviews we read online), but we think Lakewold Gardens heard all the feedback and made amazing changes! We had a great experience and loved everything about having our wedding here. We had Kathryn Weber there on our big day and she was incredible. She was there for every little detail and made the day feel so seamless with all her helpful touches. Even my mom called the day after to rave on and on about how much she appreciated all of her help. She was kind, caring, and the calm energy everyone needs on their big day! Needless to say, Lakewold Gardens is beautiful and the best venue we could’ve asked for! I’d recommend it a million times over! We love you Kathryn! - The Sanchez’s

Lakewold Gardens was such a gem to find for our wedding! Soon after we signed the contract last year, they had a new director and a whole new wedding team that was a dream to work with—night and day compared to the previous lady who was there. Jordan, Lori, Kathryn, and Neil were so responsive and accommodating and oh so sweet to us. The garden itself—nothing for us to say because it was a beaut!!! They maintain the place so nicely with beautiful verandah for the reception and a striking tea house for the ceremony. We had a party of 40 and that was perfect for the size of the place. They have also added lots of stuff in their inventory to help couples from renting from outside and save money too, like garden chairs and cocktail tables. Thank you Lakewold for such a wonderful wedding day—it was exactly how we imagined!

Lakewold Garden, In Lakewood, WA. Great location for the wedding. Timing and everything were perfect this day. Timeless memories were made. History was made. It's a day that will never be forgotten.

Lakewold Gardens is an AMAZING venue.

I had my wedding there a few weeks ago, the property is very open and provides trails, fields, and gardens where guests can wander and explore to enjoy its beauty. The view is amazing as well since you have a view of the lake from the Wagner House.The staff is really nice, Susan the wedding event planner is really responsive and helpful with your questions and planning. Call, email, or write this staff and you will get a response quickly.

If planning a wedding there, it has to be an evening wedding due to it being a public garden until 4 pm. That was perfect for my July wedding since the sun is out longer and it was an outside ceremony. My guests also loved the valet that is provided with the event, it made it even more formal which i loved!!

I would definately choose this venue again! It was absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing.

We had our wedding here a few days ago and it was the best experience ever! Jordan worked with us to get everything set up and put together perfectly! The venue was absolutely beautiful and our guest raved about how perfect the venue was! I’m so grateful to Jordan and everyone on the team for making our day perfect! They worked with us to with our wedding date since we originally planned to do it a month early but life happened we postponed it a month. The vendors we worked with also knew the venue really well so that made it a lot easier too. The venue had amazing communication and planned really well with us. They were also incredibly helpful with putting everything up and tear down.
We also did a micro wedding to stay within our budget but they worked with us really well and were accommodating with guest count.
They also had sooooo many amazing photography spots.

Had a wonderful wedding at Lakewold Gardens. It is such a beautiful venue, to be both in a garden and next to a lake, with all the grounds for guests to explore. Everyone had a great time. The Lakewold staff were so helpful and knowledgeable about what things might work well; notably Sue Steen, who worked hard to make our day a success :)

Lakewold Gardens is the most beautiful venue in the area. My wedding was a English tea party theme. With the house and the gardens it was the most perfect wedding I could have ever imagined. They really take care of their land and the people are so friendly and helpful. My husband and I were not that picky on the day we got married. All of their weekends were booked in August so we just asked them what days they had available. Fortunately, they had Friday the 16th available so we took it. As soon as I saw the place I knew that was it and I wasn't leaving until we had a day. I would recommend this venue to anyone. It is just so beautiful. Go see for yourself!
