Kirsten Fredrickson is a New York State–licensed and insured esthetician and freelance makeup artist with nearly two decades of experience helping people look and feel like their most confident selves. Originally from the Catskills in upstate New York, Kirsten has been working in the beauty industry since 2006, offering skincare-informed makeup artistry for weddings, special events, private lessons, commercial projects, and television and film productions throughout upstate New York and beyond.

​Her path into the beauty industry has been anything but ordinary. Kirsten studied Advertising and Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City before serving in the Army Reserves. She later followed her passion for skincare and attended the Aesthetics Science Institute in Latham, New York, where she earned her esthetics license. This combination of artistry, discipline, and skin knowledge shapes her approach today: beautiful makeup always starts with healthy, well-prepared skin.

​Kirsten began her professional beauty career with Estée Lauder, where she quickly discovered her love for connecting with clients and teaching them how to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. That role grew into freelance artistry and eventually led to positions on Estée Lauder’s Northwest and Southwest Regional Makeup Artistry Team while living out west. She later served as a Regional Makeup Artist for Orveon Global in New York, representing brands Buxom, Laura Mercier, and bareMinerals. Along the way, she has continued advanced training with leading beauty and skincare brands and earned an airbrush makeup certification from Kett Cosmetics in Las Vegas.

​Her work spans from intimate wedding mornings to high-pressure production sets. Kirsten’s portfolio includes corporate video, fashion editorial, and IMDb-credited work in television, commercial, and film, with clients such as TLC, FOX News, PBS, and ABC. Her artistry has appeared in publications such as Elegant, Shuba, and Salyse, and on the runway at New York Bridal Fashion Week with Kleinfeld Bridal.
