Serene Beauty is an on-location hair and makeup company, based out of the New York Capital Region. Serene Beauty collaborates with a hand-picked group of independent hair and makeup artists, who are experienced, fully insured, licensed, and seasoned bridal artists. Serene Beauty and independent artists will work with you for your wedding day, or any event/ occasion, and will travel on-location to your wedding venue, hotel, home, etc, to get you and your entire bridal party ready for your special day. Serene Beauty holds pride on bringing a fun, yet calming energy to the room. You will thoroughly enjoy your morning with your hair and makeup besties! Serene Beauty is highly trained in giving you the look you truly desire. An in-depth consultation is had with each person, to truly get an idea of what will make YOU feel the most beautiful, confident, and comfortable. Serene Beauty loves to provide looks from the most natural and subtle, all the way to glam. Hair and makeup is by no means a one size fits all experience, your look will be tailored just for you. Meet Jessica Preston

Jessica Preston is the owner, founder, and lead hair and makeup artist of Serene Beauty. Jessica established her hair and makeup business in the Albany, NY region in 2016. Her business started out as, "Jessica Lynne Hair and Makeup" (which may be what you know her as!) Jessica has always had an immense passion for beauty, artistry, and creativity. She knew she wanted to be a hair stylist since the age of 14. She attended Paul Mitchell The School in Schenectady, NY, graduating in 2014, where she studied to become a licensed cosmetologist. Jessica knew she wanted to specialize in wedding hair and makeup very shortly after she graduated. She worked in Oahu, Hawaii for 6 months in 2015, working on an elite hair and makeup team, before moving back to the Upstate New York region in 2016. Jessica's business grew very quickly, as she was providing such a high level of service to brides and their bridal parties. Jessica collaborates with an elite, hand-picked group of independent hair and makeup artists, to accommodate hair and makeup for even the largest of bridal parties.

In 2023 Jessica made the name change to, "Serene Beauty Inc." She often gets told by brides and bridal parties that herself and the independent artists she collaborates with provide a fun, yet calming energy to the wedding morning, and if feels like they're hanging out and chatting with old friends! Jessica prides Serene Beauty on providing a Serene experience. She truly loves connecting and gaining trust with others, and helping to give confidence, and peace of mind to anyone who sits in her chair.

Jessica accommodates hair and make up trial runs in Latham, NY. Jessica is who you will be speaking to when coordinating your event. She is extremely organized and detail-oriented.
