I had the loveliest experience at Kinfolk Bride! This was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, and Mayana made me feel so comfortable. She really listened to what I was looking for and gave me great options all within my budget, without making me feel pressured to make a purchase. I found the dress of my dreams here, and I absolutely love the local, sustainable, and ethical options offered by this shop- no need to look elsewhere. I cannot recommend Kinfolk Bride enough! A unique and personalized experience
Mayana has created the most beautiful space to find your perfect dress. The sun-filled studio is a study in minimalism with stylish seating and open racks of sample gowns. She has curated a unique but diverse collection of wedding pieces, from separates to glamorous gowns. The individual appointment allows you and your group to see all of the pieces while Mayana helps pick out what will suit your style best. She even special ordered a sample dress for me that she didn't previously carry in the store. She encouraged me to try a variety of styles and did a great job encouraging feedback from my friends/family while allowing me the space to make decisions for myself. I ended up picking a gown that I never would have considered, but with Mayana's encouragement, I tried it on. She was extremely generous with her time, allowing me to try it on several times against other dresses for comparison. She has a unique eye for a bride's style and has the selection to allow you to really find the most perfect dress. I would encourage anyone to go to Kinfolk if they have the opportunity. I don't think you'll find any experience like this anywhere else in Philadelphia.

Wonderful, heartwarming experience!
Mayana is a natural when it comes to styling marriers! I love how Kinfolk had a variety of options that were not only high quality, but also coming from indie designers. This is definitely the spot for those who are non-traditional. Her picks for outfits for me to try on were on the dot! The space was welcoming, warm, and so spacious. I didn't feel like I was in a rush either like the store I had gone to before.
