I cannot write enough praise for Kinfolk Bridal and its incredible owner, Mayana! I was pretty nervous going into the wedding dress process-I have a curvier figure and many wedding designers/salons do not carry larger sizes. Mayana was open to listening to my concerns and anxieties, she was so kind and patient and helped me select the gown of my dreams! On the day of my wedding I felt confident and beautiful and joyful-and I have Mayana and her team to thank for that! I have referred several friends since then who have all had the same experience.

I went to Kinfolk Bride for my first dress shopping experience and it was great! Han was very attentive and made me feel very comfortable. They listened to my thoughts on each dress and made my guests feel heard as well. Both Han and Mayana offered great suggestions and were able to answer all of my questions about fabrics, silhouettes, and venue appropriateness of each dress I tried. The space is clean and welcoming. I ultimatley purchased a dress elsewhere but for any person looking for an elegant, minimalists gown Kinfolk is perfect!

Great views, great location, great vibes and great selection!! Felt like a very personal, intimate experience - had the whole place to myself and 2 guests. Couldn’t recommend more for my fellow east coast brides (or west coast if you’re visiting the Philly area)!!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Mayana and at Kinfolk! I was nervous going into the wedding dress shopping experience, and Mayana made me feel so comfortable right away. I had vague visions of a dress in mind, but ultimately picked a dress Mayana selected for me that I otherwise would not have found. Everything felt so relaxed and fun. I felt no pressure to be any type of "bride/bridal", I just got to lean into what felt like me. I happen to be getting married at the Bok building where Kinfolk is located, so finding my dress at Kinfolk feels extra special. BUT no matter where you're getting married, you will love your experience here! I am so grateful for this place - you must go!!!

I can’t say enough about Mayana and her gorgeous boutique. My mom, sister and I came to Kinfolk in search of a specific Newhite gown (they are the only store in the area to carry this designer!) and had the wedding dress experience of my dreams. Mayana is warm, personable and professional — we had the boutique to ourselves, she had my favorite artists playing, and we had the most magical morning. Mayana also went above and beyond for me once my dress was delivered, making sure it was exactly what I envisioned and helped me coordinate with the tailor I had chosen to use as well. Thank you Mayana for making my wedding dress journey one that my mom, sister and I will treasure forever. We adore you!

I chose Kinfolk for one of my bridal appointments because it aligned with my values of sustainability, diversity, and inclusion, and after attending the appointment I can confirm it truly does embody those attributes! Mayana not only has the most thoughtful appointment questionnaire (right down to the music you want to listen to), but she has thought of everything - inclusive sizing (and also not focusing on sizing at all), unique designers, a perfectly lit, gorgeous, yet cozy setting... seriously, she sets the standard for bridal shopping. None of my other appointments rose to her level, and on top of it all she is a lovely person. Do yourself a favor and book your dress shopping with Kinfolk!!

Kinfolk Bride is the perfect place for Philly brides who have a Philly spirit. I ended up there on the recommendation of another area bridal salon and was counting down the days until my appointment after I saw their dresses on their website! I knew it was the place for me. My expectations were met completely -- from the ambiance, to the service, to the experience, to finding my dress! Mayana was amazing and real -- there for it all and to fill in any question, gap or idea with something that was in line with my vision (old Hollywood meets east coast/Philadelphia edge) I ended up in a THE LAW gown and was able to meet the designer who was right next door. I didn't want to leave or take my ensemble off. Can't wait to be back for future appointments.
