  kinfolk has your dress!!

  Mayana is absolutely wonderful! She has a unique selection of gowns from great designers, which all have a very modern touch but still remain classic. I went to my appointment with a list of gowns I wanted to try, and after trying them Mayana recommended one more that wasn't on my list, and it ended up being the one! She has great taste and picked up on my style immediately. I can't recommend her enough and am sending all of my engaged friends her way!

  Wonderful experience at Kinfolk Bride

  I had the loveliest experience at Kinfolk Bride! This was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, and Mayana made me feel so comfortable. She really listened to what I was looking for and gave me great options all within my budget, without making me feel pressured to make a purchase. I found the dress of my dreams here, and I absolutely love the local, sustainable, and ethical options offered by this shop- no need to look elsewhere. I cannot recommend Kinfolk Bride enough! Thank you Mayana!!!

  Run, Don't Walk to Kinfolk!

  After going to many other bridal boutiques in search of the perfect dress, Kinfolk stood out lightyears beyond the rest. The location, the dress selection, and the overall vibe was perfect. Mayana was patient and listened to what felt best when selecting my dress. She is an absolute DREAM to work with. I was able to find "the one" and I could not be happier. To all the brides out there still searching for your dream dress: run, don't walk to Kinfolk!

  A unique and personalized experience

  Mayana has created the most beautiful space to find your perfect dress. The sun-filled studio is a study in minimalism with stylish seating and open racks of sample gowns. She has curated a unique but diverse collection of wedding pieces, from separates to glamorous gowns. The individual appointment allows you and your group to see all of the pieces while Mayana helps pick out what will suit your style best. She even special ordered a sample dress for me that she didn't previously carry in the store. She encouraged me to try a variety of styles and did a great job encouraging feedback from my friends/family while allowing me the space to make decisions for myself. I ended up picking a gown that I never would have considered, but with Mayana's encouragement, I tried it on. She was extremely generous with her time, allowing me to try it on several times against other dresses for comparison. She has a unique eye for a bride's style and has the selection to allow you to really find the most perfect dress. I would encourage anyone to go to Kinfolk if they have the opportunity. I don't think you'll find any experience like this anywhere else in Philadelphia.

  Mayana was amazing at helping me find my dream dress! The collection is stunning and unique. I had a difficult time picking only one dress because I fell in love with several others. I was looking for something modern and non traditional, but I think there is something for any type of bride. Also, Mayana is lovely and made me feel comfortable in this process. I will recommend Kinfolk Bride to any future bride!

  Wonderful, heartwarming experience!

  Mayana is a natural when it comes to styling marriers! I love how Kinfolk had a variety of options that were not only high quality, but also coming from indie designers. This is definitely the spot for those who are non-traditional. Her picks for outfits for me to try on were on the dot! The space was welcoming, warm, and so spacious. I didn't feel like I was in a rush either like the store I had gone to before.

  Incredible Experience at Kinfolk!

  We had the greatest experience at Kinfolk, and truly didn't stop talking about it all weekend. It was the first and only appointment that really made me feel comfortable and special as a bride. It was an experience similar to how I always dreamed bridal shopping would be, but better. Mayana has done such an incredible job curating her space, her designers and the whole experience intentionally, and that is not easy to come by. I could go on and on, but will leave it at -- go to Kinfolk!

  I had a truly wonderful time trying on dresses at Kinfolk Bride. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses, so I was a bit nervous and didn’t know what to expect, but Mayana immediately put me at ease. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and after I started to try on the gowns, I selected she began to pull gowns for me (my favorite ones were actually the ones she chose!). I have never felt more beautiful than I did trying on her carefully curated selection of dresses, all of which are ethically made, unique, and well-crafted. Mayana never made me feel pressured to buy a gown and when she sensed I was feeling indecisive, she told me to go home and give it some thought and that she would let me know when she gets in some more dresses from one of the designers I liked. I cannot recommend Kinfolk enough and am looking forward to going back! Thank you so much for your kindness, care, and attention, Mayana!

  Mayana at Kinfolk Bride is my new BFF.

  One million percent would recommend Kinfolk Bride to anyone and everyone who will listen to me! Trust me, Mayana is EXACTLY the kind of person that you would want guiding you through the process of finding a wedding dress. It was like having a brand new best friend walking me through it all, but with the perfect eye/talent/expertise for understanding my ~vibe~ and ~vision~ and making it come to life! I had such a fun, chill, enjoyable experience and I wish she had been LESS successful at her job so that I could spend more time just hanging out with her, but alas, she is too good. I'll just have to come back when I recommend Kinfolk Bride to all my Philly-area friends.

  Amazing time with Mayana!

  My appointment at Kinfolk could not have been more perfect, and that’s not just because I found the dress. Mayana was so personable, knowledgeable, and warm. My mom and I had an excellent experience having the showroom to ourselves with Mayana’s full attention. She was helpful, gave great suggestions, and didn’t put any pressure on us to make a decision if we didn’t want to. Luckily I found the perfect dress, and we all got to celebrate! I can’t recommend this store enough for the minimalist bride, it’s perfectly curated. Thank you Mayana!

  Size-inclusive, quality gowns with a private, comfortable experience!

  I had an amazing wedding dress experience at Kinfolk with Mayana!!! I went to 4 other bridal boutiques in Philly and Mayana was by far the best for a number of reasons. The actual gown try-on experience was not rushed or frantic or pushy. Every dress we pulled actually fit - I'm a size 14/16. She allowed me privacy while changing into the gowns and she kept the studio free of any other guests to give us a private experience. The quality of all of the gowns was noticeably better than other retailers which were more expensive anyway! All of her gowns are made in America or Canada, which contributes to the difference in quality. She even squeezed me in for another try-on session after I found the gown I wanted so I could show my mom. She's doing something really special and beyond the gown I chose feeling like it was made for me, I wanted to give her my business over other local chain retailers.

  I would give Mayana and her GORGEOUS bridal shop a million stars if I could! I'm getting married at Bok and found out about Kinfolk during my venue tour there; I instantly booked an appointment because I just adored the sound of the shop - woman-owned, gender-inclusive, with dresses and styles for all body types. Each brand is hand-picked by Mayana and she curates the. most. stunning. pieces!
  
  My mom and sisters joined me at the appointment, and from the moment we walked in, Mayana could not have been more lovely. It was my first time trying on dresses and I was nervous, but her energy and warmth made me feel instantly comfortable. It also turned out to be my ONLY APPOINTMENT because I found the dress of my dreams there!! I went into the whole appointment with a bit of trepidation/feeling self conscious of my body and she made me feel so comfortable throughout the trying-on process! She also provided a lot of amazing input and direction on dresses I would have never thought to try on myself. She took all my feedback into consideration and pulled some amazing dresses for me.   Mayana at kinfolk was absolutely amazing. Because of her I have a wedding dress! I had the whole place to myself she was patient and suggested the wedding dress of my dreams. She has a wonderful eye and is obviously passionate. I would suggest this place in a heart beat but was my one and only stop!!!

  the most special and unique wedding dress experience possible

  What a gift this experience was to the wedding process. I had been to a few other wedding dress shops in Philly and New York before heading to Kinfolk and didn't feel connected to the spaces or dresses. When I arrived at the Kinfolk studio, I immediately felt myself relax and breath a bit deeper. Mayana brings to Kinfolk her professionalism, warmth, kindness and passion for this work. She has the biggest most beautiful smile, and she made me feel so special and so cared for at each appointment. She curates her selection of dresses, so you feel like you are wearing a work of art and something so unique.   What a gift this experience was to the wedding process. I had been to a few other wedding dress shops in Philly and New York before heading to Kinfolk and didn't feel connected to the spaces or dresses. When I arrived at the Kinfolk studio, I immediately felt myself relax and breath a bit deeper. Mayana brings to Kinfolk her professionalism, warmth, kindness and passion for this work. She has the biggest most beautiful smile, and she made me feel so special and so cared for at each appointment. She curates her selection of dresses, so you feel like you are wearing a work of art and something so unique.   I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable dress shopping experience. The salon is beautiful and Mayana has curated an amazing collection of unique and beautiful pieces that really stand out from the options I’ve seen anywhere else. She makes the shopping experience relaxed and enjoyable and took the time to get to know me and my style to find the perfect dress.
