I’ve never been super comfortable when it comes to standing in front of a camera lense. I typically feel myself tense up and become unsure of how to stand, pose or smile. However, Katherine managed to make my fiancé and I comfortable during the entirety of our session. She kept it light and playful with us, ensuring our comfort was taken into consideration and is one heck of a hype woman!

This is now my SECOND session with her and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

We had a microwedding (~45 guests) in Williamsburg this summer, and she helped us capture our wedding day to perfection. On the day of, she was super friendly and great to work with, making us feel comfortable behind the camera. Now that we got our photos back, we've had a chance to relive the day through the amazing moments she's captured, including great candid photos of family and friends. There are so many beautiful photos that it's even hard for us to pick our favorites! We love the airy style and the creative direction behind the photos she took.

My fiancé hired a very talented company to take our engagement pictures. The pictures came out fantastic. Her edits are beautiful, white and airy. When I saw the previews, I was static and couldn’t wait to see the rest. Each picture came out phenomenal. It was a delight to work with Katherine on our engagement and wedding photos! For our engagement shoot, we didn’t know how to pose or stand and she made us feel so comfortable. She guided us throughout the whole process and made it so fun!! Central Park was busy at the time but the photos came out beautiful, you couldn’t even tell it was packed! For our wedding shoot, we started the day at the Bowery hotel for some getting ready shots. She directed us the whole time and with some practice from the engagement shoot it all felt very natural. We had picked the NYBG as our wedding venue and we got so lucky to have had the cherry blossoms in our portraits. The wedding photos are gorgeous. She encapsulated everything that I envisioned and more. I could not stop raving about her and our wedding photos to my friends and family. She made the best day of our life even better and I can’t wait to look back on these beautiful photos in the future to remember how wonderful our day was. Hope to work with her again in the future!

You will not regret using her to capture your special moments. My fiancé reached out to her to capture our engagement and she did an amazing job. She was hidden the entire time in a location that had limited spots for cover. I’m not the type that is super comfortable posing for pictures and she walked us through so many poses that were not only flattering but super easy and turned out amazing. Posing for pictures can be an intimidating process but Katherine’s personality intwined with her skill makes her a perfect fit for the job. Katherine not only caught our actual proposal for us but she also did an engagement shoot in Prosser Pines on short notice. Not only was she able to accommodate us so we could get our save the dates out quickly but her versatility in editing style is beyond impressive. My fiancé proposed on a north shore beach and all the pictures came out beautiful, light and airy. When we wanted to do a different scene for our engagement shoot, she edited our pictures to make them warm and inviting. I’ve yet to see a photographer do both styles so well.

Aside from her skill and creativity, Katherine is also the type to truly share in the joy of your moment, hyping you up as needed! Although she’s quick to celebrate with you, she remains professional and attentive to her work. This has stood apart from other photographers Ive worked with in the past and in my opinion, makes Katherine well worth booking.

Katherine was the absolute best photographer! If you're considering booking with her, DO IT. Getting married during the COVID pandemic meant that I had to make some adjustments to my wedding day, and she was so flexible throughout. She even drove all the way from New York to the Outer Banks, NC just for our wedding when the flights became limited due to COVID. Katherine is truly such a ray of sunshine, and I was so thankful to have her be a part of our wedding weekend. Her happy personality ensured everyone's smiles and laughs in the photos were genuine. She captured so many incredible moments from our wedding day, and I'm honestly overwhelmed by how many photos she provided. Our wedding ceremony was outdoor at the beach and the weather conditions were foggy, windy, chilly, and misty, but you really can't tell at all in the photos! I don't know how she did it! Another thing I was especially impressed with is how efficiently she got through the photos with both sides of our families and extended families after the ceremony. I felt that she went through our list of photos we wanted quickly and smoothly, and the pictures turned out looking so good of everyone, and no one had their faces blocked or anything. She's quick to tell you to move your arm or stand a different way to make sure you're at your most flattering, but somehow does it in a polite and cheerful way. All our guests were raving about how fun she was! I 100% recommend Katherine as a wedding photographer!

It was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end working with Katherine. She has such a bubbly and outgoing personality that wonderful photos just come naturally. She was so patient with us while we had to make a million changes weekly to our wedding plans because of COVID-19. She was responsive and willing to work with us in any way we needed her to and that was much appreciated in such an unprecedented time. Katherine was also our florist! She’s multi-talented and I couldn’t be any happier that we chose her as our florist through her business “Leaf and Stem Floral” as well. My bouquet was bright, vibrant, and the flowers were so fresh. She even gave my now husband two options for his boutonniere the day of the wedding so he could choose which one he liked best! She also put together the most beautiful floral wedding arch I’ve ever seen for us and it really tied the whole day together for us. Back to her photography though, because she’s just as wonderful at that! Katherine captured a beautiful mix of posed photos and candid photos. She also captured our loved ones and all of the genuine emotion that came along with the day and that’s something I’ll be forever grateful for. She was so easy going too! The ceremony took place at our church, however she was willing to travel with us to the nearest beach and take our intimate bridal shots there for us. Taking photos with Katherine was effortless and she kept us smiling the whole time. She also made sure we were comfortable, considering it was a very hot day! I 100% would recommend Katherine as a photographer for any of your special events.

Kathryn was hands down the best photographer if could ever ask for. She did exactly what I wanted and didn’t come across overbearing yet got every shot I could have wanted. She was super patient yet bold when she needed to be. I get so many compliments on my pictures and cannot race about her enough!
