We hired Julianna for our engagement and wedding photos. She goes above and beyond to help her clients, and even let me borrow a sweater from her own closet and a dress from her client wardrobe for our engagement shoot! Our pictures turned out even better than expected, and we’ve gotten countless compliments on them! For our wedding, we had to reschedule the big event due to COVID-19, and Julianna was incredibly flexible with this. When we talked to her about also shooting an elopement this year before the bigger reception next year, she came up with a creative solution to split our original photography package across the two dates. We were also able to add on videography to our elopement to cut down on the number of vendors needed for the tiny ceremony! Our elopement was this past weekend, and Julianna was fantastic, flexible, and enthusiastic. We can’t wait to see the photos from our little ceremony, and to have even more with family and friends next year!

I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect photographer for our wedding. When I talked with Julianna on the phone I felt like I was catching up with an old friend! Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she is extremely knowledgeable and organized. She helped me decide what to wear for our engagement pictures and where to take them. I only wanted one awesome shot for save the dates and there so many I just loved! She listens to what you want but also gives you some great inspiration and ideas.
I didn't feel well the day of my wedding and Julianna was so patient and adjusted our timeline to make things work. I'm obsessed with all our photos!! My bridesmaids also appreciated that she made she they all looked perfect for portraits and not just me. She gives great directions while taking amazing shots! Hire Julianna now! She is by far the most amazing photographer we’ve ever worked with and will be hiring her again and again. She made this whole process a breeze with her photo timeline, recommended shots, points of contact and even providing a photo booth with props! Which might I add was better than any other photo booth we’ve used at weddings. Working with Julianna you can really tell how much she loves what she does, and she is so talented. Her eye for detail and creative ideas made our wedding photos so special. She listened to our wants and needs and over delivered. She even created a slideshow preview within hours of our ceremony to share with guests pictures she took earlier in the day. We also have to note that her second photographer Areeg was just as amazing! If you get an opportunity to work with Julianna take it. You won’t be disappointed.

When Julianna showed up to take photos at our rehearsal dinner, it was like my best friend came to take our pictures! I picked her out of a slew of other Seattle photographers because of her awesome action shots, and the way she embraces and highlights your environment. Naturally, a PNW wedding comes with a high risk of rain, so I wanted someone who would work well with any weather! A few months before the wedding, she sent us a questionnaire to gauge the personalities we wanted to show through our pictures, as well as our family dynamics. She knew every single bridesmaid, groomsman, and family member’s name! We were so impressed by that. She made everyone feel appreciated, comfortable, and never rushed. She has a really fun way of revealing your first photos with a slideshow of all the highlights from the wedding day. It makes for a great date night or even party if you can get your family & friends together. When all of your photos are ready, she shares them digitally, so you and anyone you want to share with can post to social media or have printed themselves. Our pictures turned out better than we could have imagined! Everything looks so natural; never staged or stiff. Her photos of all the details (dress, invitations, jewelry) really help tell the story of our wedding. There are tons of amazing action shots from the reception. I think every single guest is in at least two photos. I cannot recommend Julianna highly enough for both the experience that she gave us and the product that she delivered!!!

For us, the photographer we chose was the most important vendor for our wedding, and I can’t tell you how long it took for us to find one we loved! One day I came across Julianna’s Instagram, and within 48 hours I had booked with her. 1. Her photos were GORGEOUS. 2. She was so easy to talk to on the phone, friendly and professional. 3. She is SO organized! Her website is all set up with the information you need. I was most impressed in the weeks leading up to our wedding. She sent us a survey to list the family portraits we wanted as well as the timeline of the day and any extra photos that were important to us to have. I had a phone meeting with her (because I lived out of state) and not only did she go through every detail of the wedding as far as photography, but she also helped me with some music questions I had because my DJ was not getting back to me. On the wedding day, the photos were so much fun with Julianna and her assistant for the day, Tanya. They captured every photo I could have ever wanted and more! PLUS my family and I are amazed at how well they capture the emotions of the day! Having Julianna as our photographer is by far my favorite memory of the wedding. She is extremely organized, focused, and professional, but at the same time she is so creative with her work and it was so much fun. While I was walking upstairs to our first look (that they set up beautifully by the way), Tanya was helping me carry my train and said “Oh my gosh this is so exciting!!” and it really felt like I was walking upstairs with a friend. Again, I can’t rave enough about the mix of professionalism and fun that they brought to our day. You will be so happy with your wedding planning and engagement/wedding photos if you go with Julianna!
