Highly recommend!!

We hired Julianna for our engagement and wedding photos. She goes above and beyond to help her clients, and even let me borrow a sweater from her own closet and a dress from her client wardrobe for our engagement shoot! Our pictures turned out even better than expected, and we’ve gotten countless compliments on them! For our wedding, we had to reschedule the big event due to COVID-19, and Julianna was incredibly flexible with this. When we talked to her about also shooting an elopement this year before the bigger reception next year, she came up with a creative solution to split our original photography package across the two dates. We were also able to add on videography to our elopement to cut down on the number of vendors needed for the tiny ceremony! Our elopement was this past weekend, and Julianna was fantastic, flexible, and enthusiastic. We can’t wait to see the photos from our little ceremony, and to have even more with family and friends next year!

Julianna is absolutely THE BEST! Both in her incredibly talented work and as a person! Wedding planning and choosing a photographer can be incredibly stressful and Julianna was always a ray of sunshine amongst the stressful clouds.
Her work is AMAZING and it speaks for itself—the bright, happy, and romantic energy of her pictures—was exactly what we were looking for and were over the moon happy when we booked her for our wedding! We loved working with her, she is an absolute professional with a kind heart. She took charge and guided us in this journey of capturing our wedding in the most perfect way. She was so responsive to our emails with the million questions we had, she was always understanding and tried to fulfill all of our very unique and specific requests, and lastly always happy and positive which helped me so much in managing my our stress the day of the wedding and leading up to it.

Julianna is hands down the best wedding photographer EVER. We are so incredibly happy! Her images are breath taking. Julianna is very sweet, kind and personable. After talking with her about our photos it felt like talking to a friend! She is so fun to work with! Leading up to the wedding and engagement photos, she was available for communication and answered all my questions. For our engagement photos she even gave us styling tips! Julianna had a venue scouting meeting with us to find the perfect location for our wedding photos. Julianna made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our entire wedding party and families commented on how much they enjoyed working with Julianna. Not only is she a joy to work with, but her photos are absolutely incredible. I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect photographer for our wedding. When I talked with Julianna on the phone I felt like I was catching up with an old friend! Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she is extremely knowledgeable and organized. She helped me decide what to wear for our engagement pictures and where to take them. I only wanted one awesome shot for save the dates and there so many I just loved! She listens to what you want but also gives you some great inspiration and ideas.
I didn't feel well the day of my wedding and Julianna was so patient and adjusted our timeline to make things work. I'm obsessed with all our photos!! My bridesmaids also appreciated that she made she they all looked perfect for portraits and not just me. She gives great directions while taking amazing shots! It can feel awkward posing for photos, but even my husband was relaxed and able to have fun and not look awkward in the photos :) Everything about my whole experience with Julianna was just perfect!! Thank you for everything!!

We are very happy that we worked with Julianna for our engagement photos and wedding photos. She was very professional and approachable. It was very helpful to go through the “mood board” with her before the photoshoots to discuss the style of photography our couple wanted. She was great at embellishing on our thoughts and executing them during the photoshoots. Hire Julianna now! She is by far the most amazing photographer we’ve ever worked with and will be hiring her again and again. She made this whole process a breeze with her photo timeline, recommended shots, points of contact and even providing a photo booth with props! Which might I add was better than any other photo booth we’ve used at weddings. Working with Julianna you can really tell how much she loves what she does, and she is so talented. Her eye for detail and creative ideas made our wedding photos so special. She listened to our wants and needs and over delivered. She even created a slideshow preview within hours of our ceremony to share with guests pictures she took earlier in the day. We also have to note that her second photographer Areeg was just as amazing! If you get an opportunity to work with Julianna take it. You won’t be disappointed.

Julianna is absolute AMAZING! From the first time I talked to her over the phone, I knew she would be the photographer for our engagement photos and wedding day. She took the time to get to know us and get a feel for who we really are, so she could capture the best of us. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients. And even though I know she has other clients and a busy schedule, she always gave us the attention we needed and was always available for questions. Her organization and direction made the process stress free and seamless. I never had to think twice about what we were supposed to do, how to stand, or what was next in the process. On top of all of that, she takes beautiful photos! Her creative eye and on the fly vision make for truly amazing photos. We were so pleased with everything. When Julianna showed up to take photos at our rehearsal dinner, it was like my best friend came to take our pictures! I picked her out of a slew of other Seattle photographers because of her awesome action shots, and the way she embraces and highlights your environment. Naturally, a PNW wedding comes with a high risk of rain, so I wanted someone who would work well with any weather! A few months before the wedding, she sent us a questionnaire to gauge the personalities we wanted to show through our pictures, as well as our family dynamics. She knew every single bridesmaid, groomsman, and family member’s name! We were so impressed by that. She made everyone feel appreciated, comfortable, and never rushed. She has a really fun way of revealing your first photos with a slideshow of all the highlights from the wedding day. It makes for a great date night or even party if you can get your family & friends together. When all of your photos are ready, she shares them digitally, so you and anyone you want to share with can post to social media or have printed themselves. Our pictures turned out better than we could have imagined! Everything looks so natural; never staged or stiff. Her photos of all the details (dress, invitations, jewelry) really help tell the story of our wedding. There are tons of amazing action shots from the reception. I think every single guest is in at least two photos. I cannot recommend Julianna highly enough for both the experience that she gave us and the product that she delivered!!!

For us, the photographer we chose was the most important vendor for our wedding, and I can’t tell you how long it took for us to find one we loved! One day I came across Julianna’s Instagram, and within 48 hours I had booked with her. 1. Her photos were GORGEOUS. 2. She was so easy to talk to on the phone, friendly and professional. 3. She is SO organized! Her website is all set up with the information you need. I was most impressed in the weeks leading up to our wedding. She sent us a survey to list the family portraits we wanted as well as the timeline of the day and any extra photos that were important to us to have. I had a phone meeting with her (because I lived out of state) and not only did she go through every detail of the wedding as far as photography, but she also helped me with some music questions I had because my DJ was not getting back to me. On the wedding day, the photos were so much fun with Julianna and her assistant for the day, Tanya. They captured every photo I could have ever wanted and more! PLUS my family and I are amazed at how well they capture the emotions of the day! Having Julianna as our photographer is by far my favorite memory of the wedding. She is extremely organized, focused, and professional, but at the same time she is so creative with her work and it was so much fun. While I was walking upstairs to our first look (that they set up beautifully by the way), Tanya was helping me carry my train and said “Oh my gosh this is so exciting!!” and it really felt like I was walking upstairs with a friend. Again, I can’t rave enough about the mix of professionalism and fun that they brought to our day. You will be so happy with your wedding planning and engagement/wedding photos if you go with Julianna!

I can’t imagine a better photographer to have hired for both our engagement photos and our wedding day. Julianna was absolutely amazing and takes the most beautiful pictures! I’ll be the first to say that I typically don’t like being in pictures, let alone being the focus of them, but she made everything so easy and comfortable. She’s also incredibly flexible and easy to work with on preparations and planning. If you’re looking for someone to capture any of life’s big events, she’s definitely the girl you’re looking for!

We flew Julianna (+Tanya, the impeccable dynamic duo) from Seattle to NYC for our wedding shoot. YES. JULIANNA IS THAT TALENTED. Seriously, no couple should look any further and book her now. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Julianna two additional times in Seattle for family weddings. Her work is very consistent. My husband Jeremy and I loved Julianna because she made everything feel so organic vs. awkwardly posing and following a script. Julianna is sweet and personable. What always impresses me is her commanding presence, somehow grabbing full attention of rowdy beer-drinking, champagne-toasting groomsmen and husband :) We didn’t give Julianna any direction as we did not want to limit her creative vision. This is the best thing we’ve ever done. A sneak-peak of our pictures showed that her work was beyond our wildest imagination. We highly recommend Julianna, and would gladly be a reference.

Julianna and her team are absolutely amazing! The entire process was easy and enjoyable. She is so professional but also really fun to work with. She gives a ton of feedback as she is photographing you which I found very helpful... I know my bridesmaids and I all appreciated the helpful tips on how to hold our arms, how to bend our knees, etc. She also knew everyone's names from the get-go, which is something my father-in-law is still raving about. My wife Brittney and I got married in July 2017 and hired Julianna as our photographer. The experience of working with her was everything we had hoped for and much more. Julianna is a very talented and extremely organized professional who did everything she could to incorporate our wishes into her photography. Communication with her was very clear and consistent. A week before our date, she gave us a schedule of what to expect on the day of and worked with us to coordinate picture taking with the day's itinerary. She thoroughly explored our venue and the surrounding parts of the neighborhood in downtown Seattle to find places to shoot that fit within our theme, and found several excellent locations. We can't say enough about her skills as a photographer, but we were very lucky to have been able to work with such a kind and endearing person. When looking for a photographer to capture photos that will last a lifetime it can be nerve wrecking. Julianna J Photography came recommended to me about a year ago and I've anxiously waiting for the day that I could call her and say, "PLEASE BE MY PHOTOGRAPHER!" That opportunity came about a month ago and I was so please she had space available to capture my fiancé and I celebrating our engagement. She instantly Impressed me with her professionalism, attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm. We hired Julianna as our photographer for our engagement & wedding because we loved how beautiful her photos were. We were even happier with our decision when we met her and saw how sweet, kind, and accommodating she was. She also includes engagement photos in her wedding package, so our pictures were consistent and she used that time to really get to know us, our styles, and what we wanted for our pictures. We feel so lucky to have found Julianna. Working with her was a marvelous experience from start to finish. She is fun, energetic, always has a smile on her face, and makes you feel like you’ve been longtime friends all along. Her ability to put us at ease on our wedding day was outstanding. Neither of us are comfortable in front of the camera but Julianna easily pulled us out of our cocoon and helped us has fun. Her professionalism really showed when our hotel room was not ready putting our “getting ready” shoot 30 minutes behind schedule. Of course that stressed us out but Julianna was able to quickly put us at ease and effortlessly get great unrushed shots at each of the planned shoot locations. On top of that, she got us to the venue ahead of schedule. As for the actual pictures, she has an artistic eye and was able to spectacularly frame each shot. From composition and lighting to captured moments, you can see her passion for photography in each shot; they are perfect. We are extremely pleased with her work and our friends and family who have seen the pictures have also commented on how awesome they are. We definitely recommend her for not only wedding photography but other events as well.

First of all, Julianna is extremely professional. From the day we first met with her to discuss her services, she stood out. She was very skilled, professional and extremely talented. Throughout our entire 1.5 year process since hiring her, Julianna was responsive and extremely courteous. She is so talented and experienced in shooting weddings that she was able to guide us through the entire process. Our photographer was quite possibly the most important decision among all of the vendors-so we did not make this decision lightly. Julianna was an immediate standout.

Leading up to the wedding, she was so helpful in answering our questions and helping us understand timing and how we would get all of the photo shots we were looking for. On the day of the wedding, Julianna was amazing and wowed our entire 20 person wedding party (plus parents!). She is so relaxed and unobtrusive, the perfect type of photographer a couple would want on their wedding day. You can never ask her the wrong question-she is thoughtful and listens well. Her second shooter Tony Rizzardi was also a standout, but we knew Julianna would not let us down in picking a supplemental photographer.

Lastly, the product: outstanding. Julianna has such a creative eye-it's very light and ethereal but authentic. You will not be sorry if you hire Julianna-she knows weddings, is an outstanding photographer, a nice person and is very down to earth. Both myself and my husband loved working with her! We would hire her again in the blink of an eye.

Hired Julianna for my wedding in Sayuilta, Mexico. Planning a wedding outside of the country wasn't the easiest task but hiring her was. She replied right away, we talked on the phone within a few hours and I knew I needed to hire her. She speaks Spanish and knew all the hidden spots. Hiring a professional photographer makes such a difference but I love how I walked away feeling like I made a new friend.

My wife and I were married in August and we couldn’t have picked a better, more professional photographer. It was really important to me to have two photographers at the wedding, so Julianna brought Tony as her side kick, and they both took beautiful photos from differing perspectives.

Julianna and Tony were almost invisible, yet they took the most gorgeous pictures of us and all our guests. I know every bride wants to feel the most beautiful on her wedding day, and Julianna made sure I felt beautiful and that the pictures represented the love, fun and joyfulness of the day.

Julianna is absolutely amazing! From the moment I first met her, I instantly knew she would be the one to photograph our wedding day. My husband and I have worked with her for our engagement photos, our wedding day, our one year anniversary photos and our soon to be maternity/newborn photos. It is so lovely to have someone we can depend on to capture all of the important milestones in our lives! Each session has been so much fun (even my husband enjoys himself) resulting in the most beautiful photos. Julianna genuinely cares about her clients, does a fantastic job of making you feel very natural and comfortable in front of the camera and has a very creative eye. Throughout our wedding planning process Julianna made herself completely available for any questions we had along the way (which there were a lot of!). She captured every little detail of our wedding from the décor to the scenery, along with every special moment my husband and I shared throughout the entire day. She helped diffuse any stress that arose on the day of the wedding, kept us on schedule, and maintained a very calm atmosphere for our families, our wedding party, and ourselves. Selecting Julianna as our photographer directly contributed to our day being so special. Our wedding photographs were one of the most important things for my husband and I after walking away from our big day. She provided us with thousands of photos that now allow us to relive our wedding day all over again. She truly captured every part of our wedding day in the most beautiful way and I cannot speak highly enough of her work or her as a person. I would absolutely recommend her.

I can't say enough about Julianna as a person and as a wedding photographer. It was an absolute joy working with her from day one. My Husband and I knew from our very first meeting that she would be who we chose to capture the details of our special day. There is a way about her as a person and a photographer that instantly makes you feel so at ease and not at all awkward. She is the very best at capturing the raw emotions of any situation. I have had the pleasure of working with Julianna on engagement photos, to our beautifully captured wedding, and more recently for maternity, and newborn photos. I highly recommend her and hope to continue working with her for years to come. There are so many options out there but do yourself a favor and take the time to meet Julianna and I promise you won't regret it!

Julianna takes beautiful, natural photos and is a true professional. Before our wedding, she helped my husband and I develop a photography timeline and familiarized herself with the wedding party and important family members. She arrived early on our wedding day to scout out the most picturesque locations at the venue. She quickly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She spared us the awkwardness of taking posed photos, and instead captured our natural interactions. I received many compliments for selecting such an efficient and talented photographer!

Julianna and Nathan are absolutely fantastic. From the first day we met them we were so comfortable with them and really appreciate the approach they take to their work. From our first meeting to our final wedding package in the mail, the extra details made the whole experience beyond memorable. Julianna and Nathan had great ideas and input in the pictures but were also open to anything we wanted to try, very laid back and fun to be around but also very professional. The day of our wedding, Julianna and Nathan were with us all day nearly to end of our reception which was above and beyond. Not only are the pictures beautiful and show a great story of our day, the packaging details that Julianna makes are absolutely beautiful and so special. So much heart goes into everything they do, it shows that they love what they do!

My husband and I chose Rennard Photography to capture the memories of our wedding day. They are amazing photographers!! We couldn't be happier with our photos. They were able to capture the true feeling of the day.
From the beginning, Julianna was able to help me plan all of our portraits. I was a little scattered, but she helped me stay on track and it was extremely stress-free. Julianna is genuinely such an nice person and she truly cares that your wedding is amazing and that your photos reflect the day.
She was able to capture so many great moments that I didn't even know she was taking our picture! She is a true professional and such a talented photographer. She made us feel at-ease in front of the camera and we had such a great time.

When we first met Julianna and Nathan about a year before our wedding, we really liked their personalities and approach to photography. After seeing the photos from our ‘getting to know you’ session, we absolutely fell in love with Julianna and Nathan!

Choosing Rennard Photograph for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. It was easy to feel comfortable and relaxed with them. Julianna is focused and efficient in her photos – so you don’t feel like you are awkwardly holding a pose for a while or trying to make a photo work. She flows with your natural behavior and has a talent for catching perfectly beautiful moments. We did an engagement session that turned into a memorable guest book. We love that guest book because it combined lovely wishes and thoughts from our friends and family as well as beautiful photos of us.

On our wedding day, Julianna was prompt, efficient (which was especially great with the family portraits!) and fun. She was able to put a twist on a classic photo from my parent’s wedding. We have beautiful portraits of us and fun photos from the reception. They also perfectly timed photos of the sunset at our waterfront reception. We could not be happier with the photos from our wedding and with sharing our special day with Julianna and Nathan.

We were so happy to have Julianna and Nathan photograph our wedding. The pictures were excellent, but that's just part of it. They did so much to make the experience really special for us. At the very first meeting before we hired them, they did a mini photo shoot just so we could get a sense of their working style and see if they'd be a good fit. On the wedding day, we just had a video camera on a tripod instead of a videographer. They offered to have their assistant move the video camera to capture all of the first dance so we didn't dance off the screen.

One of the great things about Rennard Photography compared to some of the others we looked at was that they were there the entire day. A lot of photographers will bail shortly after the dancing starts or charge a pretty steep hourly rate to stay extra. Julianna and Nathan arrived just as we started to get ready and didn't leave until the wedding was completely over. We didn't have to decide what 6 hour block we wanted captured.

Obviously we highly recommend Rennard Photography. They're super friendly, great photographers, and will make sure that part of the wedding experience is totally stress-free.

Rennard Photography was absolutely amazing. I cannot stress that enough! My husband and I are so happy that we chose them to take our engagement and wedding photos and we marvel at our pictures and video all the time. Seriously. ALL THE TIME. They have awesome personalities, great energy, and made us feel really comfortable and at ease from the first moment we met them. Julianna went out of her way to prepare us for our photoshoots and provided us with information that I think we would have been lost without. She finished all of our wedding pictures just after a week!!! She's very passionate and it shows in her work and she even sends your picture DVD in handmade packages that I loved.

We can not say enough great things about Julianna & Nathan - I would whole-heartedly endorse them as great wedding photographers. Great service and communication from the first day - they listened to exactly what we wanted and tailored their services to meet out needs. They were there from the very beginning to get pics of us both getting dressed and hanging with our bridal party and they stayed until the very end to get us climbing into our vintage Rolls Royce to be whisked away to our hotel - over 8 hours in total and they seemed as fresh and energetic at the end as they did at the start! They didn't miss a beat or an important shot the whole night - they blended into the event and didn't make us or our guests feel like they had a lens shoved in their face the whole day...yet they still managed to capture EVERYTHING. In the end they delivered amazing images to us (within weeks of the wedding!) that we can do as we wish - we can print them on our own - we don't get charged an additional fee by them to process the images or print them. One of the best experiences of the whole wedding process! When we were looking for photographers, Rennard Photography really stood out. They actually took the time to do a sample photo shoot at our first introductory meeting. The point of this shoot was to show us how they worked, to make sure we felt comfortable with them, and then to see the finished product before we committed to their services. We hadn't seen anything like this in any of our other vendors!

Not only is it important to like the style and capabilities of your photographer, but it is incredibly crucial to feel comfortable and relaxed around them. Engagement and wedding photos are so personal-- you really want the connection of your relationship to shine through. Julianna and Nathan made us feel completely at ease, and we actually had a lot of fun at all of our shoots! When the engagement photos came back (with a quicker than expected turnaround time, I might add), I was blown away. I could not believe they made us look that beautiful. We got so many compliments of how natural and happy we looked!

We received our completed wedding photo portfolio yesterday (again, ahead of schedule). I was floored. The beauty and style of the shoots, and the expressions on our faces in the candids brought tears to my eyes. I was immediately brought back to that day, remembering the feelings of how I felt in those moments. How better to remember the best day in our lives than through beautiful photographs! Rennard Photography bottled up our entire wedding-- all of the joy and beauty and celebration with family and friends-- and delivered it to us in our photos. If you have any expectation to remember your wedding day in perfect clarity and more beautiful than you could imagine, you should work with Rennard Photography.

Julianna and Nathan are AWESOME! We booked them as our photographers about a year and 1/2 before our wedding after we met them at a bridal show in CO and loved their work. During that year and 1/2, they moved to WA but still came back to CO to photograph our wedding. We had SO much fun with them and our photos are beyond amazing. They both have great attention to detail and caught every moment of our special day perfectly. We could not be happier with our pictures (seriously, they're incredible) and are so glad to have made friends with both of them. Would definitely recommend Rennard Photography to anyone...they are extremely fun, talented and devoted to their passion.

Julianna and Nathan are amazingly talented, thorough, dependable and a total pleasure to work with! My husband and I never like pictures of ourselves, but we are THRILLED with the amazing images that they captured. We have gotten so many compliments on our engagement pictures, guestbook and wedding picture slideshow (I have no doubt that the full set of wedding pictures will be amazing too! We just got married two weeks ago).

Just as importantly, Julianna and Nathan are easy going, flexible, fun to be around, and put our guests totally at ease. They were easy to work with, and super responsive throughout the whole process. We especially liked that Julianna and Nathan did a "get to know us" session before we booked them. At the "get to know us" session, we go to do a mini photo shoot to see how they worked.

Bottom line: Do not hesitate to book them for your wedding/engagement!

Julianna and Nathan were ABOSOLUTELY AMAZING! My (now) husband and I were very conscious about the cost of our wedding as we were paying for it ourselves. Therefore, spending the money for a photographer was a big deal for us, but something we definitely wanted to do. It was in my list of duties (bride) to find the photographers. After connecting with a few other people in the area, Julianna replied to an email I sent in to her via her website. She was so personable and lovely that in an instant I knew that Rennard Photography would be perfect. After discussing with her for about 45 minutes on the phone and having a great connection, my husband and I had a meeting with both Julianna and Nathan to make sure we were all a "good fit". This meeting was entirely their idea and such a great one! As they said "we want to make sure that you like us, the way in which we do things, and that we are a good fit. It would be horrible if we did not measure up to what you were looking for". Thinking back on that now, I laugh as there is NO WAY they couldn't have been just perfect!

The fact that they are a married couple works out perfectly as well because they are able to literally be in two places at once! Nathan was able to attend the "getting ready session" with the groomsmen and Julianna was able to come to my hotel room and photograph the girls and I getting ready. Then, at the ceremony and reception, they were able to shoot from various angles to get the best shots and light everything perfectly. All while being as quite as mice (during the reception) to the point we didn't even realize they were there and also being very directive and creative during the group shots, portraits etc.

Bottom Line: Julianna and Nathan were better than we could have asked for. I highly recommend Rennard Photography and think any couple would be lucky and privileged to have them shoot their wedding or any other special event!

They made us feel comfortable and they were patient with our wedding being off schedule as well as more family portraits than indicated. Both our engagement & wedding photo's are SPECTACULAR!!! Julianna & Nathan captured every detail and every moment! Family, friends, & us newlyweds :) are impressed by every photo because they are all unique and symbolized the love we share. Julianna and Nathan were excellent! They spent an incredible amount of time with us, and it was perfect to have Nathan spend time photographing the groom's party while Julianna was with the bridal party. They offered a great value relative to other photographers in the area, and they went above and beyond to capture every moment of our wedding day. They also created an incredible slide show that we could share with our family and friends, and we have received a huge number of compliments! This is a husband and wife team that just moved to Colorado from California. While they're based out of Summit County, they had no problem coming down to Denver for our engagement photos and our wedding. They did an amazing job and offered exactly what we were looking for. Plus, they're incredibly friendly and professional and both my husband and I loved working with them.

We love Julianna and Nathan! They were amazing to work with, great at replying to e-mails quickly (which was very important for a bride planning most of the wedding from another state), and were very good about when we made changes to the timeline/ceremony location. And of course most importantly- our pictures came out beautifully!
The only things I will say is we didn't get a whole lot of silly pictures of me and my husband together. Part of that is probably my fault, I think I was in "must take perfect pictures" mode most of the time instead of being more relaxed. But I wouldn't have minded if they had set a little more time aside to take silly photos while we were doing our wedding party photos.
I also wouldn't have minded more of the bridal party getting ready. That one is also partly my fault as I had changed their recommended schedule so we started taking bridals while my bridal party finished getting ready. I didn't realize I wanted more those photos until after and I realized they were missing.
As promised we got a preview disk of photos during the reception, and all of our wedding photos were at our house before we got home from all our post-wedding travels.
Over all I am super glad we hired them and I cant wait to do our trash the dress photo shoot with them!
