Lauren did an amazing job with our wedding photos. She includes a free engagement session with each package, which helped us to get to know each other and know what to expect on our wedding day. Our wedding was not typical, but Lauren rolled with the punches and didn't seemed phased by anything we threw at her. The pictures we received were gorgeous. For most of the wedding, I didn't even know Lauren and her assistant were there, so I was amazed at everything they were able to catch on film. On top of it all, Lauren's prices were amazing! Incredible quality for the money.

Lauren was absolutely amazing. She took beautiful pictures and provided bet service than I expected. If I ever need a photographer again for anything I will be using her!

Lauren took photos for our ceremony & man were we pleased! She first took our grooms photos - she made us feel relaxed and really spent time with us during our session. We didn't feel rushed at all. She even switched days at the last minute because the weather wasn't as we had planned.
The photos before & during our ceremony turned out so fantastic we have several framed in our house. She captured our special day perfectly and was incredibly easy to work with. We met Lauren last fall when scoping out photographers for our wedding (we just got married in June). As soon as we sat down with her in a coffee shop to see her work and discuss wedding options, we knew almost immediately we would go with her. From day one, Lauren was extremely confident, assertive, patient, accommodating, and simply pleasant to work with. Conversations were easy and her work spoke for itself. I can't say enough about her attitude and professionalism. Knowing we needed engagement photos quick to send out save the dates, she worked with us to do a split engagement session (We did a short session in January and the rest in warmer spring weather). And on our wedding day she put us at ease, and we couldn't be more pleased with the end product. We highly recommend Z Photographie!

We were very satisfied with Lauren as the photographer of our wedding reception. We were impressed with her promptness, professionalism, and product. She was easy to work with and amenable to altering her services for us. On the day of the reception, we left everything up to her and the 2nd photographer for capturing the event in a journalistic style rather than poses. She put us in a few posed situations, such as groups, which we appreciated. Since we did not have engagement photos, she offered to arrive early and take photos of us outside. She was not the most expensive and definitely not the least expensive, and we appreciated that she ensured we receive a good value. Her workmanship alone was definitely worth every dollar. The 2nd photographer helped capture photos of the decorations, table settings, cake, etc. when she was shooting pictures of us outside. The cake was assembled on site, and she did a great job capturing it being built and decorated. She kept us updated on the status of the photos and sent us preview images to share with friends & family. Later, she provided over 700 photos on a flash drive, some of which were duplicates in B&W, with one set optimized for web/e-mail and one for printing. She also sent a few photos on card stock with little holders to display. I think she put photos on a website, but we have not accessed it. Our favorite photos were of the "action" and venue. She did an excellent job capturing the event, people interacting, eating, etc. I do not remember seeing her most of the day, yet they captured pretty much everything we wanted. The only negative we have is that we had wardrobe malfunctions. We opted to not wear neckties, and my shirt collar kept getting stuck under my jacket, so it looked like I was wearing a collarless shirt. I was constantly fixing my collar, and we think this is something a photographer should have noticed and addressed esp. in posed shots. Some may agree and some may not, but this is our only negative.

Lauren was everything we wanted in a photographer for our wedding. She is extremely organized and responsive. She was also very accommodating in terms of all requests we had for shots and slight style preferences (straight shots with non-noticeable altering/filters).
