Roland was AMAZING as our wedding and engagement photographer. The thing that drew us to him was definitely his attitude. After reading about so many photographer's packages and hearing "This price covers 6 hours..." , etc. it was so nice to hear Roland say that he cares about capturing the entire story of our wedding day, and will be there from beginning to end. That's what you want in a photographer, someone who will capture the small, beautiful moments of your special day, along with the standard stuff - and that's what Roland does!

For our engagement photos, we wanted a mix of urban and natural, so Roland spent all afternoon with us, first in Fremont and then traveling out to North Bend (his suggestion!) to get shots in the woods. I was really surprised that he would travel so far and give us so much of his time for an engagement session but he truly cares about his clients and delivering what they want!

He captured our wedding day perfectly! We loved the creativity and design elements in his photography, and we were especially impressed by the film shots he took - I would definitely suggest adding film to your day if you choose Roland! His wife, who is also very talented also came to help shoot during the time when the groom and I were apart. He did a really good job at directing us on how to pose naturally and gave us lots of room to make suggestions of shots we wanted or had in mind. He is super down to earth and easy to work with and makes taking hours of photos fun and enjoyable.

We are very satisfied with our photos, and would chose Roland again in a heartbeat!

Roland did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. He was exactly what we wanted out of our wedding photographer. Roland is one of the nicest guys I've ever met and was very easy to work with. He is definitely a photo journalist and captures candid moments as well as can pose you and then patiently wait until he gets the photo he is waiting for. My husband and I can get a little awkward in a lot of posed photos so we liked that Roland would take us to different locations and keep us moving and let us just laugh at the awkwardness. I wasn't going to do engagement photos but Roland recommended them and I am glad we did as it gave us a chance to try out some different poses and learn what worked for us and what didn't so we knew what to focus on on our Wedding day and what not to waste time on. It also allowed us to get comfortable with Roland and for him to get to know us and our style. On our wedding day he had no issues going to two different locations where the bridesmaids and groomsmen were getting ready. Numerous family members and bridal party members commented on how nice Roland was to work with and how he seemed to just blend in taking pictures without taking away from the moment. We just got our photos back and couldn't be happier. Would definitely recommend Roland as a wedding photographer.
