Hugo was great to work with, he was very friendly, clear and communicative from the beginning. We hired Yas Events as our wedding DJ, and for market lighting and photobooth services. Hugo played awesome music that our guests loved and really got the party going at the reception. He also ensured flawless music service at the ceremony and the reception, which was no easy feat as our wedding was at the San Diego Safari Park and he had to move all his equipment between two locations that were far apart.

He also made a short highlights video for us at the reception that was awesome, it showed everyone dancing and having a great time. There was a slight mishap with our original requested photobooth the week before our wedding, but he had a comparable replacement for us which worked out well! The market lighting he put up looked amazing and really transformed the reception venue. Their prices are also very reasonable, and Hugo was very understanding when there were delays with our wedding due to a serious illness I was going through. We really appreciate everything Hugo did for us, and would definitely recommend Yas Events!

Yas Events helped make my wedding day a huge hit! They were extremely helpful, and responsive from beginning of the first initial contact to the very end. Hugo is super fun and knows how to get a crowd going, and just an overall great guy in general. He accommodated my every request, no matter how big or small. We also got the pop up photo booth that was a HUGE hit and everyone enjoyed. I highly highly recommend going to them for your next event! Everyone will be sure to have a great time and will forever talk about how awesome your event was!

Hugo took such good care of us, ensuring that our music for the ceremony was timed perfectly, giving us advice, and helping us stay on track with our decisions. In addition to a spectacular DJ who will get people on the floor, he is a great emcee who will keep guests in line and direct people on their next steps. The dancing at our wedding was a delightful highlight, and there are videos, also done by Yas events to prove it! The video allowed guests who could not come to view and interact in real time. I am so thankful that we chose Yas Events and that we decided to include video as well as music. Somehow I’m still underselling what an amazing job Hugo did, he also was invested in the look and feel of our wedding, with uplighting to complement the main colors. My husband & I went to a wedding for our friend that Hugo DJ’d at and instantly saw how awesome he was with keeping the guests on the dance floor and making the whole reception so fun!! From that night, we knew we had to have him DJ our wedding! It was one of the easiest wedding decisions we made! From the beginning, Hugo was so nice and not only acknowledged our requests but went above and beyond to make all our requests and customizations happen! He even was able to cut some songs for us to make everything flow during the ceremony, grand entrance, and reception! Hugo was so dedicated to making everything perfect during our big day, he even went to tour the venue himself before the wedding so he could see the layout and everything! He was such a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t have imagined our wedding without him! His girlfriend Lila even took some amazing photos during the wedding day and we were able to purchase those to have! Overall, we loved working with Hugo and his services were even better than we expected, everyone was dancing the whole night and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! 😍

Super grateful to have hired them for my wedding event during this pandemic. Had to organize the whole thing in a month since we are a military family and Hugo and his staff were super helpful. Definitely recommend YAS events they are amazing!

Hugo and his wife LiLa are amazing! We used Hugo for our DJ and LiLa for photography! Hugo was flexible, fun, and kept everyone dancing. He helped me with a timeline and was absolutely amazing! LiLa, did amazing on the photos she is incredible, sweet, flexible, takes pride in her work, and gets things done quickly but with an amazing product!

Hugo did an amazing job as the master of ceremony and DJ on our wedding day. Prior to the event, he spent countless hours making sure he understood our musical taste and lighting needs. Although we had specific music and lighting requests, we also wanted Hugo to know he had the creative freedom to do what it takes to successfully pull off the event and move the crowd for the reception. Hugo executed flawlessly. He managed the lighting, ceremony, guest speakers and party. He kept the event on schedule and kept the dance floor moving. Thank you!
