Hugo was great to work with, he was very friendly, clear and communicative from the beginning. We hired Yas Events as our wedding DJ, and for market lighting and photobooth services. Hugo played awesome music that our guests loved and really got the party going at the reception. He also ensured flawless music service at the ceremony and the reception, which was no easy feat as our wedding was at the San Diego Safari Park and he had to move all his equipment between two locations that were far apart.
He also made a short highlights video for us at the reception that was awesome, it showed everyone dancing and having a great time. There was a slight mishap with our original requested photobooth the week before our wedding, but he had a comparable replacement for us which worked out well! The market lighting he put up looked amazing and really transformed the reception venue. Their prices are also very reasonable, and Hugo was very understanding when there were delays with our wedding due to a serious illness I was going through. We really appreciate everything Hugo did for us, and would definitely recommend Yas Events! -

My husband & I went to a wedding for our friend that Hugo DJ’d at and instantly saw how awesome he was with keeping the guests on the dance floor and making the whole reception so fun!! From that night, we knew we had to have him DJ our wedding! It was one of the easiest wedding decisions we made! From the beginning, Hugo was so nice and not only acknowledged our requests but went above and beyond to make all our requests and customizations happen! He even was able to cut some songs for us to make everything flow during the ceremony, grand entrance, and reception! Hugo was so dedicated to making everything perfect during our big day, he even went to tour the venue himself before the wedding so he could see the layout and everything! He was such a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t have imagined our wedding without him! His girlfriend Lila even took some amazing photos during the wedding day and we were able to purchase those to have! Overall, we loved working with Hugo and his services were even better than we expected, everyone was dancing the whole night and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! 😍 -

Simply amazing!
We are so happy to of found YAS Events during our DJ search. Hugo was absolutely wonderful! He was so professional and easy to work with, it was like working along side a good friend! All of our wedding guest were raving about how great our DJ was and how much their feet hurt which is a win in our book! Thank you Hugo for making our day exactly what we wanted. If you are searching for your DJ search no more! -

Simply awesome
Hugo, was definitely incredible! He was the most important part of our party! Without him we wouldn’t be able to have so much fun!
All the song he selected were perfect, he really animates the party and all the songs we chose for our celebration were exactly on time! We love everything! Thank you Hugo so much for making the best day of our lives even more special!

Absolutely the best!
Yas Events knocked our wedding out of the park. Professionalism, fun, adaptive to our changing needs and made the atmosphere electric!
We meet Hugo and new right away that he was our guy. We had the blow up photo booth where Lilia did an awesome job capturing all the hilarious moments. Our bartender Shauna was very friendly and kept the drinks flowing. The uplights made the room that much more beautiful (fully recommend). We would definitely use Yas Events for our next Bash! Wendy Sent on 06/24/2018Hugo was the absolute best! We were out of town while planning our vow renewal and he went above and beyond to ensure our wants were met. He was very responsive to emails and texts. Our 1st face to face meeting was like meeting an old friend. He didn’t even have a prob with us changing songs a few days before our event. I will hire him again for any of our big events. Thanks Hugo!

My wedding was April/2018 and I’m finally on my overdue reviews! DJ Hugo was referred to me by a friend, and since I first contact him till the last song of the wedding, he was a great professional! And very reasonably priced!
We met about 3 times before the wedding, and he accommodated all the songs we requested! His MC skills were right on point! He knew how to bring the dance floor up again when was dying down, and he played good music for all ages! Also, hired his girlfriend for bar tending and she was amazing! Very polite and respectful, as well great on the job! Lines were never long and moved fast for drinks!!! Definitely recommend this people, great professionals and human beings!!! -
