Joy Masi Photography exceeded all expectations as our wedding photographer! Joy was a pleasure to talk to and work with from the day we met her, and the day of, couldn't have been more professional and excellent at what she does. She brought a second shooter with her, Gary, and he was also so personable and fantastic. Not only were both Joy and Gary so flexible and easy going, but they also kept us on task, gave us great direction, and kept it fun for all involved in the day. We are a bride and groom who don't love being in the spotlight, and they were great at capturing very candid shots, you barely notice them there on the dance floor/etc., but they also got some beautiful posed shots and made us both feel so comfortable throughout the day. We cannot praise them enough for their phenomenal work and just being such a pleasure to work with on our wedding day. We would highly recommend Joy to anyone looking for a photographer. Her work is gorgeous and very unique and artsy, and that is what we loved about her...not your average wedding photos, definitely takes them to the next level!

Joy did our wedding at the Loft at Jacks Barns last month and we could not be happier! Joy is absolutely amazing at her job! She is such an amazing and calm person which makes you feel at ease on your wedding day. We received some sample photos quickly after the wedding and they are absolutely breath taking. I can not wait to get the rest of our photos! She has a way of making every photo looks super natural which was so important to me when selecting a photographer. I would highly recommend her for any photography services!

Joy is absolutely incredible! She is so calm, and professional and truly cares about getting the best shots and cares about the bride and groom. Unfortunately it rained severely on our wedding day. My mood was ruined for the few days before and I was convinced we were going to be unable to get any good pictures around the venue we were getting married in, and the village surrounding - but boy did Joy deliver. She was patient and creative and walked around without a coat or umbrella - just to find creative spots for us. She honestly was incredible, and made my day so much better from the moment she walked in. I can't wait to get our pictures back to see the beauty that she captured! We did a quick engagement session with her a few months before the wedding, and I've never felt so comfortable shooting pictures because she truly captures magical moments! The turnaround time is a few more weeks than expected - but I would wait any amount of time for the beauty that she captures. For the reception, we requested no posed portraits and only candids - and although she kept checking in with us to make sure she wasn't missing anything additional, I hardly saw her for the entire night. She was taking pictures of everyone dancing all night, but made sure that she wasn't in the way or in the middle of the crowds. Also her second shooter was extremely professional and efficient. I loveJoy as a photographer and person, and I'd recommend her to anyone. Her strengths are definitely capturing special quiet moments between the bride and groom, and also with couple portraits, but she's really incredible with everything. Book her and you will not be disappointed!
