Jill was our wedding photographer and we had the most wonderful experience with her. From coordinating our engagement shoot in the middle of winter, to our final call to go over our weekend itinerary, to the day of the wedding when she was my go to person for all moments. We hired Jill as our wedding photographer this past September and could not have been more happy with the experience. While small, our wedding was logistically complicated as it was split into ceremony and celebration days and was held on an island only accessible by boat. She wasn’t dissuaded by this, and worked with us to create a package that suited our needs and was priced fairly.

On the day of the ceremony, she made us feel at ease. Being trailed by a photographer isn’t something we are used to and we had worried that it might feel uncomfortable. However, through her warmth, professionalism, and humor she made the experience feel natural and fun.

The quality of her work is also exceptional. Our friends and family were blown away by our photos. She did a phenomenal job of capturing not just the expected moments, but also many candid shots that helped capture the full atmosphere of the event. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding and engagement photos. Jill is professional, down-to-earth and her work speaks for itself. She captures moments in a way that is not only beautiful, but authentic and real.

We first worked with Jill for our engagement photos. She made us feel completely at ease. She gently guided us throughout the session while also allowing moments to unfold organically.

When we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, Jill was incredibly understanding and helpful as we switched our dates. It was so important to us that Jill be our wedding photographer, that we made it a point to confirm that Jill was available on our new date before finalizing with our venue. We ended up getting married on our original date in 2020 with a small ceremony at a friend's house and we knew we wanted Jill to be a part of that day too. She captured all of the small, intimate moments of the day beautifully.

When our "second wedding" finally came around in 2021, we had been working with Jill for so long that it felt more like a trusted friend was taking our photos. She was very helpful in planning for the second wedding and answered all of my questions. We worked out the timeline and specifics for the shots we wanted. On the big day, Jill was her usual professional, easy going, helpful and calm self. She made everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the day. Her second shooter, Bonnie Durham also did amazing work.
