Beyond talented & kind
Jill was our wedding photographer and we had the most wonderful experience with her. From coordinating our engagement shoot in the middle of winter, to our final call to go over our weekend itinerary, to the day of the wedding when she was my go to person for all moments. Jill has such a calm, kind, and giving demeanor, she is exactly who you want capturing your moments on your day. Her personality is exactly what is portrayed in her photos! -

We hired Jill as our wedding photographer this past September and could not have been more happy with the experience. While small, our wedding was logistically complicated as it was split into ceremony and celebration days and was held on an island only accessible by boat. She wasn’t dissuaded by this, and worked with us to create a package that suited our needs and was priced fairly.
On the day of the ceremony, she made us feel at ease. Being trailed by a photographer isn’t something we are used to and we had worried that it might feel uncomfortable. However, through her warmth, professionalism, and humor she made the experience feel natural and fun.
The quality of her work is also exceptional. Our friends and family were blown away by our photos. She did a phenomenal job of capturing not just the expected moments, but also many candid shots that helped capture the full atmosphere of the event. Her photo editing skills are superb, and the turnaround time was also quite impressive. We look forward to hiring her again for other events and can’t recommend her highly enough.

Dream photographer capturing authentic moments
Jill is a dream wedding photographer and gem of a human. We could not have been luckier to have come across her during our vendor search process and I can’t imagine our special day having been captured by anyone else. She seamlessly captured the most special, authentic moments from our day that we can now forever cherish; flipping through her gallery feels like reliving the day which is exactly what we were seeking from a photographer. We are blown away by the work that Jill produced from our rehearsal dinner and wedding. She is one of the more talented photographers out there, but in addition to her work, she is truly the most special and kind person. Jill felt like an extension of our wedding party, and brought an aura of calm to our VERY rainy wedding day. She captured every detail flawlessly, and I love that she captured the "small moments" that many would not normally pick up on. My husband said it best- we got goosebumps after looking at the pictures from our wedding day.

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding and engagement photos. Jill is professional, down-to-earth and her work speaks for itself. She captures moments in a way that is not only beautiful, but authentic and real.
We first worked with Jill for our engagement photos. She made us feel completely at ease. She gently guided us throughout the session while also allowing moments to unfold organically.
When we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, Jill was incredibly understanding and helpful as we switched our dates. It was so important to us that Jill be our wedding photographer, that we made it a point to confirm that Jill was available on our new date before finalizing with our venue. We ended up getting married on our original date in 2020 with a small ceremony at a friend's house and we knew we wanted Jill to be a part of that day too. She captured all of the small, intimate moments of the day beautifully.
When our "second wedding" finally came around in 2021, we had been working with Jill for so long that it felt more like a trusted friend was taking our photos. She was very helpful in planning for the second wedding and answered all of my questions. We worked out the timeline and specifics for the shots we wanted. On the big day, Jill was her usual professional, easy going, helpful and calm self. She made everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the day. Her second shooter, Bonnie Durham also did amazing work.
The pictures from all three events were gorgeous and allow us to relive these happy moments over and over again. We trust Jill completely and wholeheartedly recommend her services for anyone looking for a wedding or engagement photographer. -

Jill’s talent is truly remarkable and it’s evident in what she creates. The photos from our wedding are absolutely fantastic and we continue to treasure them and share them with our loved ones. Meeting Jill for our engagement shoot was such a fun day. She gave us direction here and there, but it felt like hanging out in the park with an old friend. She brought that same friendly vibe to our wedding day and captured some truly special moments. Not only did she take the classic portraits, but she captured the little moments that really make a wedding day unique. Jill is such a gem and we can’t recommend her enough! -

I never realized how important it is to trust and connect with your wedding photographer. Jill is amazing that way. We ended up doing engagement photos with her and am glad...she was focused but informal and put us at ease, allowing us to be ourselves while guiding what we should do in a helpful way (and was this way on our wedding day). On the wedding day she played a huge role in keeping us on track with our timelines which was hugely important. Overall she provided a much needed calming, easygoing presence. She and her second shooter, Hilary, stayed for a very long day which I very much appreciate. She took note of specific photos we wanted captured and helped very much by providing a recommendation on when and where to shoot. She was communicative, professional, friendly, and someone I very much enjoyed working with. If you're looking for high quality photos that capture your day, little moments, and who you are without being overly posed or cliche, Jill's your gal. I wish we could do it over again! -

On our wedding day, she put everyone at ease and captured all of our moments with beautiful images I know we will cherish for a lifetime. Basically, Jill is the best!

Amanda Sent on 01/08/2018Jill was everything I could have dreamed of for our wedding photographer. I really wanted a photographer that captured moments, and that is exactly what she did. I was so pleased to look through my wedding pictures and feel like I was reliving the day. The candids she captured made it seem like she was everywhere at one time! On top of her amazing capturing skills, she is also so kind and so easy to work with. If you want someone who will make your day seamless and capture your wedding day perfectly then Jill is your girl!

Alda Sent on 09/27/2017I was the Florist for a Camp Medomak Wedding. Highly recommend the place! Jill Frasier was wonderful to work with. Even late in the day she displayed energy and happiness in her work. She really likes what she does, as do I. It shows. My flowers are uniquely, very special. I have created Fragrant Gardens in Montville, not far from Belfast and the Penobscot Bay, 46 years ago. We grow what is pretty, fragrant and unique, specializing in Weddings. Well over 1000 floral ceremonies and best of Maine locations. Jill has seen a lot of other florist's presentations. I like how she works. She really liked my flowers. Can anything be better than that! (The Bride and Groom were very pleased as well.)

Jill met with us we’ll in advance of the wedding (we’re talking 6 months in advance) to get a feel for who we are and what we were looking for. Jill was able to accommodate all of our requests (natural, not posed, nothing atificial feeling). Jill even takes time to note down the combinations of photos you want for the day of (family, bridal party etc). A wedding is stressful enough- you definitely don’t want to be worried about remembering what combination of family photos your grandmother wants for the mantle.
All of our guests commented on Jill’s level of professionalism and her exceptional level of stealth- to grab the perfect shot at every turn.
If you’re taking time to read this review you should probably stop, open your email, and get in touch with Jill right now! Honestly, stop the insane search. -

I couldn't have gotten a better person to photograph my life! :) I've had Jill take lifestyle, Rehearsal, Wedding, Engagement, you name it! She's the only one I trust! I can be super picky when it comes to photos and she makes me feel like I'm no bother, she's willing to do whatever it takes! Her work is extraordinary! I love her eye for catching all the special moments! Not to mention is she great to hang with! Can't say enough good things about Jill! So lucky to have her on my big day and all my big moments! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Jill!! xoxoxo
