We hired JS&CO for our DTLA wedding on 9/18/22 and can’t say enough good things about our experience. From the moment you hire JS&CO, the team is incredibly responsive, professional and just wonderful to work with. Since we live in NYC, we never did an engagement shoot so our first time meeting Abi & Paul was on our wedding day (besides Zoom). If you’ve gotten this far, there’s no reason to even look at another photographer. They’re the best of the best. Unobtrusive and not the type who will drive you crazy on your wedding day to get every last pic. They let you enjoy and do your thing, while capturing the most gorgeous photos. You will forget they are even there!! We’ve only seen the sneak peeks and I don’t even need to see the rest to write this review. Your photographer is by far one of the most important vendors you’ll hire for your big day and they even recommend other vendors (shout out to Kelly Zhang Studio for hair/makeup) they’ve worked with. Absolutely love Abi and Paul - they’re incredibly talented and just fabulous people.

We also used their Photo Booth which our guests LOVED as well! Photo quality and background choices are amazing. Highly recommend doing the booth and photog with JS&CO. No need to hire two different vendors as they do it all. And they do it with passion, professionalism and smiles on their faces.

My husband and I hired Jenny Smith & co for our engagement pictures and wedding. They were incredibly easy to work with, and the pictures are absolutely gorgeous! Mel, was our specific shooter and she was beyond calm, fun and a true pleasure to be around. The photos blew us away and captured our essence and the amazing details of our day. I got married on May 29, 2022 at Saddlerock Ranch. I truly truly cannot say enough good things about the JSCO team. After receiving several referrals, I naturally I reached out to Jenny and scheduled a zoom meeting with Mel who we quickly decided we wanted to hire to photograph our day. What I loved about that first zoom meeting was just the natural flow between Mel and us- the conversation was quirky, real, and soothing, especially after talking to so many vendors who did not appreciate the same level of rapport that I do. Mel led our engagement shoot and the photos were STUNNING. After getting those back, I knew we made the right decision for our wedding day. Leading up to our wedding, we would get regular emails from Jenny helping us plan our big day. Mel worked seamlessly with our planner and other vendors to figure out a flow with so many moving pieces of our big Jewish wedding. When the day finally arrived, Mel and team were beyond extraordinary. They captured so many special moments and made us and our families feel so comfortable in front of the cameras. We had a wedding party of 28 people, plus my husbands huge family, and we got through all of the formals seamlessly. We got our sneak peek in less than a week and the full gallery in about 6 weeks. What I appreciate most, is that even after the wedding and after they’ve done a bulk of their job, Jenny and her team are still helping me navigate some post-wedding anxieties, even if this means going back into raw shots to find moments and photos that I didn’t originally see. I was a total stress ball through the entire planning process and they were so patient and kind to me. Their care and attention to every couple is not comparable. Book them - I promise you will have no regrets!
