We had an extremely challenging and complex wedding to plan/execute, internationally, and Jason & Co. made everything we asked for happen. Some of the best parts about working with JMK are just him and his team as people and their creativity.

Hiring Jason was the best thing my wife and I did for our wedding. Jason is INCREDIBLE to work with - kind, friendly, organized, and extremely knowledgeable. He and his team helped us through every step of our planning and preparations - and he helped guide us through a lot of the little details that we may have missed had he not been there. On the day of, Jason was an incredible maestro for the entire event. Because of him, everything went extremely smoothly and my wife and I were able to just sit back and enjoy our special day. Lastly, Jason really cares about what he does. I never thought we'd need the services of a wedding planner, but I can honestly say that our wedding would not have been what it was without Jason. Best decision ever.

We just had our wedding and the day went pretty much seamless. The level of organization for the “run of show” was pretty impressive. Any issue that did come up, Jason and his team jumped into action including going head to head with an unruly priest. They made sure we ate, executed my vision for the wedding to a t, helped bring back our stuff to hotel room, no ask was too big. Also their level of professionalism was impressive. The JMK team are genuinely great people that you would want to spend time planning something somewhat stressful like a wedding with.

"My Jason" as I call him- Jason is the very best! He was such a lifesaver to us throughout our entire experience- especially as we had to postpone/pivot due to Covid. He is thoughtful, charming, extremely detail-oriented, and went above and beyond his duties to make our long-awaited wedding weekend so special. It was honestly like he could read my mind, and knew exactly how to handle tough situations with vendors and family. We can't say enough good things about Jason- he is an absolute pleasure to be around and a no-brainer to work with!

It’s hard to understand the importance of a wedding planner until all hell breaks loose. The week of our wedding the weather forecast was incredible, all radar showed no signs of any rain or storms in the area. So on the Wednesday before our wedding, we released the hold on the emergency tent our venue required us to have. On Thursday evening, Jason called and calmly asked if I had some time to chat - he told us the band was concerned about weather and would need to ensure their equipment was covered. Long story short - my fiance was in tears, there was not a storm in sight, but we had to call and get the tent back. Jason took care of absolutely everything - ensuring we still had access to the clear top tent we wanted, lighting and chandeliers for inside of it, and enough greenery and draping to make sure it didn’t look like we had thrown it up as a last resort. (Ha!) It poured the entire morning of our wedding and finally broke just as we were about to have our first look and begin pictures. I share all of that to say, without Jason there to help us navigate, everything we spent a year planning would have been a soggy disaster.
We can talk all day about his creativity, his attention to detail, his ability to listen to scattered plans about color schemes and grand hopes of unicorns and confetti cannons (oh wait, that happened), and his ability to breathe life into an event - but what it really comes down to when you hire Jason is execution. There are a million things that can go any which way when you’re planning a wedding (or any event for that matter) but he truly had a handle on all of them. He took every opportunity to manage and problem solve without involving us - which gave us the chance to enjoy our day without knowing half of what was going on behind the scenes. Now, this may sound stressful to some, but I promise you that over the time you spend working with him, your conversations will feel like they are with a friend and he will truly take the time to KNOW who you are as a couple - so on your day, he can run the behind the scenes magic, making the choices he is already knows you would make - giving you the chance to have the singular moment in your life you will never have the opportunity to create again.
We worked with Jason from South Carolina while he was in both New York and LA - and we never felt like he was out of touch or across the country from us. There is no question that he will be a part of any event we throw in the future. No review or recommendation could ever put into words what he means to us and the experience he gave us for our wedding weekend.

Jason is an absolute dream. Our wedding started out as a "normal" wedding, and planning that with Jason was easy and relaxing. Jason is creative and thoughtful and never lets the wedding stress snowball start rolling. THEN when things got COVID crazy, Jason did not disappoint. He stayed cool and practical and worked with us to figure out how we wanted to handle our unique situation. He helped us come up with ways to make our Zoom guests feel included, i.e. sending individual champagne bottles to all of them, and it made the day so special. Jason wasn't able to be at our wedding in-person as we are in LA and he was stuck in NYC, but he made sure to set us up with one of his colleagues and she was truly amazing the week and day of. Jason was wonderful about communicating with us and her so it felt like it had been part of the plan the whole time. It felt like Jason was there every step of the way, FaceTiming into our important vendor meetings and throughout the wedding weekend, making sure we felt supported. Because of Jason, what could have been a very difficult time was seamless and unique and fun and a truly beautiful day. We can't wait to plan our big post-COVID party with Jason as soon as we can!! Especially so we can see him in one of his famous wedding suits!!

I hired Jason to be my day coordinator for my small intimate wedding in Brooklyn last November. I had talked to a few day coordinators and I just felt right away Jason got it, he understood that I was no fuss bride and really just didn’t know what I was doing nor was I into really planning a wedding while working a very stressful full time job. Before my wedding he took control with coordinating with the musicians and the officiant and any last minute details with the venue and was there when I needed help deciding on things. On the day of my wedding he was great, so nice and so personable and best of all he took care of everything….I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on my day. Everything ran so smoothly. I couldn’t recommend Jason enough. He will make planning your wedding so easy and he is really there for you.

Working with Jason was an absolute dream. We had been planning on having a larger wedding (which we will still have eventually, with Jason again as planner) but then Covid struck. My husband and I were pretty devastated, but thankfully Jason carefully and calmly walked us through our options to still have an event on our chosen day. The event we ended up having completely exceeded our expectations and having Jason there to make sure everything went smoothly and to coordinate with our vendors took so much stress off our plates. Jason also has such a wonderful eye for detail and design. When I first saw that table he had put together for our Covid friendly reception dinner I almost started crying as it looked exactly like what I had wanted originally for a larger wedding. Jason is a wedding planning STAR and I look forward to working with him again when we can finally have our larger wedding party.
