Jason is an absolute dream. Our wedding started out as a "normal" wedding, and planning that with Jason was easy and relaxing. Jason is creative and thoughtful and never lets the wedding stress snowball start rolling. THEN when things got COVID crazy, Jason did not disappoint. He stayed cool and practical and worked with us to figure out how we wanted to handle our unique situation. He helped us come up with ways to make our Zoom guests feel included, i.e. sending individual champagne bottles to all of them, and it made the day so special. Jason wasn't able to be at our wedding in-person as we are in LA and he was stuck in NYC, but he made sure to set us up with one of his colleagues and she was truly amazing the week and day of. Jason was wonderful about communicating with us and her so it felt like it had been part of the plan the whole time. It felt like Jason was there every step of the way, FaceTiming into our important vendor meetings and throughout the wedding weekend, making sure we felt supported. Because of Jason, what could have been a very difficult time was seamless and unique and fun and a truly beautiful day. We can't wait to plan our big post-COVID party with Jason as soon as we can!! Especially so we can see him in one of his famous wedding suits!! -

I hired Jason to be my day coordinator for my small intimate wedding in Brooklyn last November. I had talked to a few day coordinators and I just felt right away Jason got it, he understood that I was no fuss bride and really just didn’t know what I was doing nor was I into really planning a wedding while working a very stressful full time job. Before my wedding he took control with coordinating with the musicians and the officiant and any last minute details with the venue and was there when I needed help deciding on things. On the day of my wedding he was great, so nice and so personable and best of all he took care of everything….I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on my day. Everything ran so smoothly. I couldn’t recommend Jason enough. He will make planning your wedding so easy and he is really there for you. -

Working with Jason was an absolute dream. We had been planning on having a larger wedding (which we will still have eventually, with Jason again as planner) but then Covid struck. My husband and I were pretty devastated, but thankfully Jason carefully and calmly walked us through our options to still have an event on our chosen day. The event we ended up having completely exceeded our expectations and having Jason there to make sure everything went smoothly and to coordinate with our vendors took so much stress off our plates. Jason also has such a wonderful eye for detail and design. When I first saw that table he had put together for our Covid friendly reception dinner I almost started crying as it looked exactly like what I had wanted originally for a larger wedding. Jason is a wedding planning STAR and I look forward to working with him again when we can finally have our larger wedding party. -

I don’t have the words to describe how great it was to work with Jason. From start to finish, he was there to help me every step of the way, from venue visits to last second bridezilla phone calls. His advice was spot on and he made the weekend run incredibly smoothly. I trusted him completely and was able to relax knowing Jason had everything under control. He was very hands on and full service during the entire process. I couldn’t imagine using anyone else but Jason and his team. Highly recommend! -

Stop right there. You can not get married without Jason Mitchell.
It has taken me an embarrassingly long time to write this review. There is no way these words can convey how vital Jason was to our wedding. Yes, he takes care of all the details. Yes, he manages the day of stress. Yes, he walks you through what you need to decide, when you need to decide it and whose opinions need to be considered in the deciding. He masters all those things you expect from a wedding planner. He executes them flawlessly.
But Jason is not just a wedding planner, he is a wedding storyteller. When he meets with you and your partner, he gets to know you as individuals and as a couple. He listens to your love story and then he begins to plan a work of art (your wedding) that somehow exudes you - your relationship, the essence of the "us" you are creating - and invites your guests to be witness to that story on the big day. He doesn't accomplish this with a storyteller's typical medium, words. He does it through the emotional flow of the ceremony, the music that welcomes you into the reception, the arc of the toasts/speeches. All those essential wedding moments are so carefully planned to let the entire room of family and friends feel the power and unique character of this couple's love. 5 years later, I still have guests at our wedding tell us that our wedding was the best wedding they ever attended. Our wedding was fun, celebratory and so very us. Jason is the only person I know who can grasp so precisely what makes you you and bring the beauty of that out for all of your family and friends to enjoy.
And not to forget a very important point. Jason will make sure it's the best party of your life! -

One Word? Magical
When we first met Jason, we told him we wanted to throw a kick-ass party, and. 15 months later, we had a kick-ass wedding. With the help of Jason Mitchell Kahn & Co, we had the wedding of our dreams; it was a truly magical day.
We cannot imagine what planning this wedding would have been like without Jason, he seamlessly guided us through the process. We knew that we didn’t need to worry because Jason had it under control. There are so many details we didn’t know existed!
Jason connected us to amazing professionals and helped find local vendors near Westchester (we got married in Rye) who were familiar with our venue. Jason is a wizard on keeping track of vendors and communicating our vision - and helping us stay in budget.
Throughout the planning process we had complete confidence in Jason, knowing he would see us through to the finish line with everything accomplished. He magically stays on top of every little detail.
We had an amazing wedding that we will remember forever; it was accomplished without a single fight or breakdown thanks to Jason Mitchell Kahn & Co. -

Jason is the JEDI MASTER of “the Big Day” — in every way he guided and with us explored this very personal, meaningful, and expensive ritual. We loved his NYC’er sense-of-service & efficiency, especially when it came to vendor selection or putting an itinerary together — but equally we loved & relied on Jason’s realness and organic touch for timing and flow. And trust me, when it comes to putting out a fire (literally, in our case!!) Jason’s LA-cool is the magic that you will want at your wedding.

The Perfect Day
Jason is a dream to work with. Not only did he make the process fun leading up to the wedding, but he absolutely created a space that was stunning and gave us the chance to enjoy our day. I tend to worry (a-lot, as does my mother)...with Jason at the helm, I just knew it was going to be perfect - and it was! As for my mother, I think she would have married Jason herself. We were all so calm because he put us to ease with his tireless planning, constant professionalism, extensive knowledge and genuine personality. We started the journey for a destination wedding in Palm Springs, a city I had been to once and my husband not at all. We started with a tour of several venues in one day. All were great, but of course the one we loved most was out of the budget. Jason got to the heart of what we liked about that property and went to work. He found us the most amazing venue that checked all of our boxes - and some we didn’t even know we had! He coordinated another visit to that property and we instantly fell in love. From there it was a super efficient process with Jason managing the various vendors, budget and keeping us on track leading up to the 3 days of wedding festivities. The day of the wedding was beautiful...and about 20 degrees cooler than we had expected. But not to fear! Jason coordinated heaters and our guests received pashminas at each chair. I know there were fire drills, but I didn’t know about ANY of them while they were happening (and still to this day). Jason protected us from any possible stress and took care of everything. We could not be happier with our wedding and know for sure it would not have been as wonderful without Jason’s involvement. We could not recommend him more highly...aside from choosing your person, hiring Jason may be the best decision you’ll make regarding your wedding. THANK YOU, JASON...from the bottom of our hearts. -

Jason was totally on-board when it came to planning our casual/fun and somewhat untraditional wedding. He was an expert at anticipating and navigating the difficult logistics that accompanied using an unexpected venue, and was indispensable to my partner and I, providing guidance when our ideas of the "perfect wedding" didn't always align. It was a wonderful experience working with Jason; I would recommend him to my dearest friends! -

Best first wedding!
If it were up to me, Jason Michell Kahn will be in charge of all my future weddings. But seriously, I was completely ready to just say no to a wedding and drag my, then, fiancée to city hall and call it a day. I was intimidated about the planning and the cost. Now, I rarely say this, but I was 100% wrong. JMK really mad it easy, painless, and figured out ways to cut costs without sacrificing quality and fun! He was there at every step of the way and made it actually fun to ideate and discuss options. During the planning stages, I really didn’t feel like I did anything and JMK was just going to throw the wedding he wanted, but EVERYONE said how “me” my wedding was. He just got me and my, now, husband and created an extremely personal and magical night that I’ll never forget. Somehow (I’m gonna say witchcraft!) JMK was able to pick up on everything that I would share with him and translate that to an amazing moment or little touch in the decorations. At the wedding itself, he was never two steps away, but was never intrusive…he was there to hold our hands, or slink away into the shadows to let us have so many amazing moments for us. We couldn’t have done this without him and can’t sing his praises loud enough. You would do yourself a big favor to hire him for your wedding or really, any event that needs a exceptional touch. -

Can’t rave enough about Jason! From the moment we met I knew he would be the one to make our wedding vision come to life and he did just that and more. Since we were planning an out of state wedding Jason was key to ensuring it all ran smoothly. He was the perfect mixture of spreadsheets, schedules and facts that my fiancé needed and fun energy that I was looking for (after all shouldn’t planning your wedding be FUN!) Jason helped find amazing vendors who were all talented and very fair in pricing. He was the prefect middle man between us and them and navigated any tricky or sticky issue with tact. He helped us create a wonderful experience for both us and our wedding guests for the entire weekend. There wasn’t one time he said no to anything we threw at him and he always had helpful ideas, insights and suggestions. Most importantly day of he was poised, uber professional and calm, which helped keep the day relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. So many of our guests came up to share how impressed they were with him. My main goal going into my wedding was that I wanted to leave feeling like I had the best day of my life, and by working with Jason I did just that. He helped me bring my dream picture of that day to life and then gave me the confidence to relax and enjoy it because I knew it was all being ran by the best possible hands! It was the best day ever! He is a must work with! -

Weston Sent on 04/15/2018My now husband and I have said countless times that Jason was the absolute best investment we could have made in regards to our successful wedding! Jason, and the entire wedding experience, surpassed our expectations and we are absolutely on cloud nine. Jason is largely to thank for this.
The thing that Edward and I were the most intimidated by was just how many different things we had to keep in mind, and how to plan everything in terms of timing. Jason took this fear away completely by giving us a detailed list of things we had to do, and when to do them. We were able to let go of the anxiety and just check things off the list. When we had questions, he answered them promptly. He checked in with us regularly, and cheered us on the whole time.
Once everything was together and lined up for the event, it was time for the big day, and I am not exaggerating in that it was PERFECT. He ran rehearsals, showed up early the day of to organize and decorate, he had created beautiful signs and menus for us, and then ran the ceremony/rehearsal seamlessly. He took care of the two of us, and made sure that we weren’t doing too much, which we really appreciated. He dealt with small issues without us even knowing they existed. Amazing. And after it was all said and done, he called us the next day to check in and see how we were feeling about the experience.
Jason is a true professional who will handle your special day with care, creativity, and a fun demeanor. He has moved past the status of wedding planner and become a good friend. We loved having him with us for this journey, and know that you will too. More than 5 stars for this guy!!

Jason's work ethic and creative flair were absolutely invaluable and due to his extraordinary efforts we had a beautiful, joyous wedding. We met with Jason early on, and as soon as we sat down, Jason asked us questions to get to know about us as a couple. He asked all the right questions and really made us feel valued as clients and then as friends. We had 200 out of town guests coming to New York and Jason was invaluable in running the show and letting us enjoy our weekend with our friends and family. He made sure that everything was taken care of all the way until our after party which ended at 4am! I had crazy ideas and Jason was always responding with so much positivity and creativity that it felt like I had an amazing partner in the planning process. When I had an idea and didn't know a vendor, he was able to turn around within the hour and give me a huge list of vendors. He helped me with everything from finding a private yoga instructor for the morning of to our rehearsal dinner venue. I highly recommend him and his team if you are looking for someone that pays attention to detail, can run the show with finesse, and comes with a creativite and positive outlook.
