Jessie photographed our wedding in October of 2023, and there aren’t enough nice things I can say about how wonderful she is! The photographs she took are stunning and there are so many! Even though it’s been months, sitting and looking through her photos makes it feel like our wedding was yesterday. We feel so fortunate to have these memories of our wedding to enjoy for years to come. Beyond the beautiful photos, Jessie was a fun and easygoing presence at our event. She and her assistant were professional, but knew how to make every step of the process feel fun and special. I’m not very good at posed photos, and Jessie was wonderful about giving direction when we were doing portraits. She was also great at wrangling both of our large families to make sure we got the shots we needed. She was equally amazing at capturing all those little impromptu moments that happened throughout the day in a very unobtrusive way. She completely understood the vibe we were going for and delivered on every promise, including sending us a really gorgeous sneak peek, which we received while on our honeymoon. It was such a wonderful experience to wake up at our resort to an email from Jessie with a folder full of photos to enjoy! While I do love my neighborhood, Jessie had a way of capturing it, and the wedding, that made it look absolutely magical. I didn't even know these people and felt the love and happiness they shared on that day. When I got engaged, I knew exactly who to go to for engagement photos. My fiance and I had never had our photos taken professionally and we were both a little unsure about the experience. I shared with Jessie that we love hiking together and would love our photos to be in nature. Without skipping a beat (because she's so responsive), Jessie suggested a gorgeous overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were pumped! It felt like from the beginning, she got us and saw us for who we are. The shoot itself flew by! We had so much fun and Jessie made the experience incredibly comfortable. By the end of the same day as our shoot, Jessie had shared behind the scenes videos that her second photographer took. I knew, just from the videos, that Jessie captured the love we share and the fun we have together. Less than a week later, we had our photos! We're now a month from our shoot and I can't get enough of them. They are the most beautiful images I've ever seen. She made us feel so special and so seen through the process. We've used them for holidays cards, a 2023 calendar, and large prints for our room. Jessie is an artist in the truest form. My fiance and I knew, without even having a wedding date or venue, that we wanted Jessie to photograph our wedding. I found Jessie through Instagram. Her work matched the vibe I was looking to capture for our engagement photos, so I reached out via her website. We are getting married outside of the U.S. so we only needed engagement photos done locally, however, I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Jessie to be our wedding photographer.
She was responsive with booking and scheduling our shoot. She was flexible with us when moving the location to another city the day before. Jessie was excited to help us capture our vision and executed it perfectly! This was our first time having professional photos taken and Jessie helped us relax and directed us to get the best natural feeling photos! My first thought — hire her! From day one, I knew I wanted a creative photographer who would capture moments that were special to me. Jessie exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. I haven’t seen the sneak peaks just yet — but the photos she posted on her Instagram from the night of the wedding let’s me know I will not be disappointed. She didn’t have to post to Instagram, but she put in the extra effort and it meant a lot of Ryan and I. We were on our honeymoon and I could look back and see at all the pictures/videos from the wedding. We also saved them so we have them forever.

Jessie has so much talent, drive and dedication to provide the absolute best for her clients. This sounds silly — but I also loved how she did payments. What can I say about Jessie?

Shortly after getting engaged, we hired our planner who gave us a handful of photographer recommendations. Jessie was among the top of the list, and we loved her style. Unfortunately, the day I reached out to book her, she let us know she had been booked for our original date just hours before I reached out.

Fast forward a year, and we postpone our wedding (like so many couples had to do). As luck would have it, when our then-photographer was no longer available for our new date, Jessie was. Serendipitous, right?

Booked. Immediately. We had to have Jessie. Not long after that, we did a summer mini shoot with Jessie to meet in person, and it just felt right from the very start. Our personalities were a fit, her direction felt natural, and she was so supportive. Later that year, we did a Christmas shoot with her, and it felt more like a friendship than a vendor relationship or exchange of goods and services.

Finally, our wedding day rolled around. We've only seen sneak peeks of our wedding day photos so far, but once again, she worked her magic. From start to finish, she helped us feel at ease. We felt the love, and she captured those feelings from behind the lens. She just has a way of connecting with people and bringing out their very best.

I cannot say enough positive things about Jessie. We didn't just get a photographer out of this, we feel that we truly got a friend.

I actually connected with Jessie through Instagram, and her editing style was exactly what I was looking for! My husband and I (like many others) chose our wedding date in 2020, and had to work with so many covid restrictions. We ended up choosing a different location and switching to a micro-wedding of just immediate family two months prior, and Jessie couldn’t more flexible and excited. Her positivity and adornment of the day truly made our wedding so special. PLUS, the photos are absolutely AMAZING and will be cherished for a lifetime. She’s taken our Christmas photos, engagement photos, and with a baby on the way, will be the first person I reach out for family photos. She’s the best!!

We met Jessie locally in VA for engagement photos and were so pleasantly surprised to learn she did destinations too! Jessie makes you feel so comfortable while still getting the best shots! We are in love with our photos! Jesse has an amazing eye and does her best to make the experience fun!
