Margaret McLemore and her team at Irish Traditions were amazing and made my wedding fantastic. I wanted to go traditional with Irish kilts and I couldn’t find anyplace in the DC area that rented them except for online retailers (which I didn’t want to use incase we needed a change at the last minute) so I found Irish Traditions in Annapolis. Let me say that if you have any questions whatsoever about Irish wedding traditions then you need to come here and talk to Margaret, even if you want small Irish touches and not full on kilts like we wore this is the place. They were so accommodating and knowing that were were coming from DC IT let us have our kilts for a WEEK with NO extra charge so we had time to make it down there pick up our kilts get them out to the groomsmen and make sure everything fit(and they did). Also we had a young ring bearer who wore a kilt and she was nervous of him growing and having the kilt be too small so she mailed it to his parent in Mobile, AL, just to make sure the size was right 2 weeks before the wedding. Irish Tradition could not have been more accommodating, and was one of the reasons our wedding was so PHENOMINAL.

Wanting to honor my Scottish background we thought about wearing a Kilt instead of the normal Tux for our wedding. Being so much out of the norm for attire, I researched a TON. We got in contact with several Kilt rental locations online. Just a few of those replied to us, one of those places was Irish Traditions.

Margaret was happy to meet us, we drove there and tried on a Kilt to see if the image matched the idea. We loved the look and we proceeded to compare costs. In the end of the day we decided to go local and picked Irish Traditions. Where everyone was out of state we had them get measured in a Tuxedo shop and sent the sizes to Margaret. Our biggest worry was Cayden – a 10 year old boy. Margaret went far, far out of her way to make sure she not only had the size kilt he measured for – but two other sizes just in case.

Thankfully she did! Cayden had grown since he got measured! Margaret opened up her shop early for us to take a quick drive to Irish Traditions and swap out the kilt with more than enough time to spare.

Our day was beautiful, all the guys commented how much they were surprised at the comfort of the kilt and we got rave reviews! You simply cannot go wrong with Margaret and Irish Traditions.
