Iman was the absolute BEST!! She is personable (calm and caring, yet fun and energetic), detail-oriented and very organized. It gave me such peace of mind having her there on our special day. We hired Iman Lee Events for day-of coordinator services. We weren’t initially planning on having a coordinator, but it was a requirement of our venue.

While I didn’t see it as a necessity in the beginning, I am so happy we did have some help on hand!

There are many things you have to deal with in the final weeks leading up to your wedding, and even on your wedding day. Iman helped my husband and I dial in our schedule, and on the day of we had Melissa and Dani running the show. Everyone involved did a fabulous job. There were many moving parts in our day, from the set-up to the ceremony onto cocktail hour and then the reception. The team at Iman Lee Events made sure that everything ran smoothly and on time.

I’m a panicky, hyper organized bride, and Iman made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. I’ve never met someone who responds to an email faster. She put me in contact with multiple awesome vendors whom she trusted. She is worth every penny (and more)- if you are on the fence about getting a planner, you need one/you need Iman. She is extremely organized, responsible, and prompt, but, most importantly, my family, friends, and I could relax the day of because Iman had it under control. She and her staff went above and beyond by setting up my tables for me perfectly. I trust her with my life.

Iman was a dream to work with! She made our day run flawlessly. Her assistants, Sarah and Victoria, were attentive and wonderful during the reception. They took care of everything and I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Before the wedding, Iman was on top of it all. She diligently went through the timeline with us and mapped our whole day. She was quick to respond to emails from me and our vendors.

Prior to the wedding day, I told people I’d totally recommend Iman if they thought they might need a day of coordinator, but now I tell them she’s a necessity for a perfect day. Wouldn’t change a thing!

My husband and I, (fiance then) decided to have a destination wedding. Our dream is a beach wedding and our first choice was the Boracay Islands in the Philippines, but due to the pandemic and lockdowns, this was out of the equation. Back to the drawing board and square one, again. After many sleepless nights and planning, we chose San Diego after a mini trip back in 2020. It was just a perfect location and weather just as I envisioned the dream wedding would be. One of the biggest challenges we faced is that we don't know anyone in San Diego. I did a lot of research looking for a month of coordinator, and I came across Iman's profile on The Knot. After a "few" email exchanges and phone calls, we agreed to terms and signed the contract. Let's just say that we, the soon-to-be-married couple, won the lottery with Iman's service for a much affordable rate at the time. It could be because I volunteerly agreed to do all the initial planning, research, and communication with all the vendors. I'm a hands-on bride, I planned every aspect of the wedding. The wedding is also super small (30 guests) consists mainly of close family and friends. But since it is a destination wedding, Iman is doing a lot of work in terms of receiving packages, sorting through them, and organizing them for the day of.

As we approached the day of our wedding, that's when Iman's knowledge and magic truly manifested. Iman took over all the communications and consolidated all the details. Without missing a beat, she read through every email exchanged I had with her and other vendors. She remembered everything and I mean everything down to the smallest details. We had a couple of hiccups, as some of our vendors, unfortunately, weren't able to proceed due to covid exposure. Once again, Iman to the rescue and reassured us that everything is going to be fine. A little reassurement goes a long way. On the day of the event, we felt a tremendous amount of gratitude towards Iman, she executed and arranged (ran the entire event) without issues. I am one over-worrying bride and this is an understatement, and I can get super particular, but Iman's work is so miraculous that for a moment during my reception, I sat and wondered how could she have possibly managed all of this?! Iman's top-notch above and beyond service, she packed our picture frames and other wedding decorations and props back to their original boxes. I thought they would be placed in one giant box, and we would spend the day after for wrapping and packing. But thanks to Iman, all items are in great shape, and we only spent a couple hrs to pack them before our fight back home.

Iman, we wanted you to know we are grateful to have done the business with you. This was a chaotic project that you handled perfectly, maintained a high-quality service without compromises. It was one of our most important day and it wouldn't have been possible without your help! We hope to see you next time we are in San Diego. Maybe for another round of drinks or two or three. We kind of lost count after the first, but who's counting right? Until then, pleasure doing business with you. Keep doing what you're doing! Iman is a professional and has great knowledge of her craft. Great service and dependability without compromises. We highly recommend Iman if you want your special day/night extra special.

Planning a wedding can be incredibly stressful, however once we contacted Iman, we breathed a huge sigh of relief. Iman was a life saver. She responded within minutes of us reaching out to her, and we immediately knew that she was the right coordinator for our most important day. Each call we had with her we were more and more impressed. Throughout the entire planning process she took the reins and was on it! She is extremely organized with spreadsheets, check in phone calls, and time lines. She is very reasonably priced and does not cut any corners. If you have any questions she will never hesitate to help you. No matter what your event is, you should definitely go with Iman. I would recommend her to anyone I know. There are literally no words to describe how truly amazing Iman is. She came into the picture three days before we said I Do, I was so so stressed and overwhelmed with everything but the second I met her (the day before the wedding) she took the weight of it all right off my shoulders. She somehow managed to put together the most beautiful wedding in such a short amount of time. Everything I had dreamed of, she had brought to life so flawlessly. I cannot thank her enough for making our wedding, unforgettable.

"Honestly I cannot say enough good things about Iman and I'm a bit of a tough cookie when it comes to critiquing people. She was so personable it felt like we could be friends in real life. She went beyond her job description to make sure the wedding went well.

We ended up having our caterer pass away just before our wedding and by the time people finally got into his email to see what jobs he was booked for next, it was the week before our wedding. It actually might have only been 3 days before our wedding! Iman coordinated with the company taking over his jobs and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Honest to god, there was no difference.

With some of our decor, it ended up just getting dropped off to her in a box, and she set-up everything so beautifully. She stayed the whole day to make sure it was all set. She was definitely one of the vendors where we really wanted to tip her well, especially to make up for the extra work she did that she didn't even charge us for.

Trust me on this, book her. We weren't even sure we were going to book a wedding planner and I could not be happier that we did and our wedding was only 50 people. It gets so much more overwhelming than you think it would."

Iman is honestly so hardworking and is a master of what she does! Very hands on! Amazing laugh and spirt and great at delegate task to the staff and my wedding party. I would highly recommend her!
