History
Owner and founder Giuseppe first got the idea for creating an Italian cafe in the heart of Manhattan while sitting in a cafe in Florence, Italy. When returning to the United States, his first cafe was a small gelato shop called Firenze. This shop eventually grew to become an authentic cafe, but Giuseppe sold Firenze in 1987 when he decided to get married and have a family. In 1992, he returned to the restaurant industry, with the opening of Il Bacco. For over 25 years, Giuseppe and his staff have been providing guests with delicious cuisine and memories that last a lifetime.
