As a makeup artist and beauty services company owner, I frequently communicate with wedding planners. The goal is to coordinate the day-of schedule with them and work together on booking trials, adjusting timing and answering questions for the bride. I think most couples want a wedding planner who is organized. They want someone who has a sense of urgency and knows how to prioritize. Yet these are the areas in which many of the planners I have worked are weak in. It’s always baffled me because an unorganized, procrastinating planner is the opposite of what most couples look for in a wedding planner. But then there is Mandy.
