Hitch Perfect is a San Francisco, California-based wedding planning company. Amy Sedan is the owner and lead wedding planner at Hitch Perfect, and is on site at every wedding booked. Amy holds a master's degree in classical flute performance and had a decade of experience as a wedding musician before founding Hitch Perfect. The company name is inspired by the term 'pitch perfect'; it's our goal to make sure we hit the right tone and style for your wedding event.

Great Day of Coordinator!

Amy of Hitch Perfect was a wonderful Day of Coordinator. In the months before hand she was available to answer any of my questions and provide vendor recommendations. As we got closer to the wedding date she offered more services: timeline planning, event walkthrough etc. Day of we could not have done it without her! I can't even list all of the tasks that Amy assisted with, leaving the bridal party and our families without any worries or distractions. If your venue requires a coordinator, or if you just need an extra helping hand, Amy is a great person to consider.

Best Wedding Coordinator

Amy Sedan is the absolute best choice for anyone seeking a wedding coordinator. My wife and I were delighted from the very beginning with how professional, patient, and well-equipped Amy was. She was attentive and quick to reply with any questions or inquiries we had, and was forthcoming with positive suggestions of her own. Her years of experience really showed, especially on the actual wedding day, where my wife and I could just enjoy ourselves. On our big day, Amy handled everything like a pro. She coordinated the vendors, set up our custom decorations, anticipated the needs everyone, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. If I could give any engaged couple just one piece of advice to ensure a successful wedding, it would be to hire Amy Sedan as their wedding coordinator.

Great decision to hire Amy!

It was a pleasure to have Amy as our day-of wedding coordinator. She was very responsive and organized throughout the planning process. She was very helpful in creating a detailed timeline for the wedding day, and it was a blessing to not have to worry about communicating day-of logistics to all of our vendors. Amy took charge during the wedding rehearsal and expertly directed our large wedding party. She also went above and beyond on the day of the wedding, working with the venue staff to set up decorations and table centerpieces and making sure everything looked beautiful. Amy was a calming presence throughout the process - she has a very relaxed style while still being attentive and detail-oriented. We really enjoyed working with Amy and would highly recommend hiring her for your big day!

One of the best decisions we made

Hiring Amy as our coordinator was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. She was great at pointing out subtle issues in our plans that we'd failed to consider, suggested an awesome band (the Lucky Devils), and helped us negotiate a couple tricky situations with the venue. During the wedding itself she was calm and decisive when, minutes before we were supposed to go out, I realized I'd left the rings in our hotel room. I was obviously in a bit of a panic, but she helped us get stand-in rings from friends and family and snapped us back to reality. She also set aside some hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour to make sure we actually had a chance to eat and otherwise just kept things running smoothly. Would definitely hire again!

We recommend Amy's wedding coordination service!

Amy was very responsive and easy to work with. She helped us come up with the timeline, coordinated with the vendors and wedding party, and was a huge help on the wedding day itself, directing the guests between our two venues and setting up the reception. In the months leading up to our wedding, she helped us with the many questions we had about how and what we should do for the ceremony and reception. Since we didn't have strong opinions on most things, it was great to have someone help us envision how things would work.

Calm and creative coordinator across the board

As my husband and I return to normal life, we're looking back on the big day with so much happiness and pride in what we made happen. So much of that is a credit to Amy - she kept us realistic while shooting for the moon, calm in the face of surprises, and super organized to keep everything moving seamlessly so we could just enjoy the entire day. We had both our ceremony and reception at the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden in early October 2018 and Amy brought a high level of experience to help us achieve our unique and somewhat unconventional vision. We really appreciated her creative, organized, and openly communicative approach to make sure everything went off without a hitch.

We're thrilled that we got a chance to work with her on a day that means so much and would absolutely recommend her to other couples for their special day.

Amy is wonderful!

We had the opportunity to work with Amy as our day-of coordinator for our wedding at the beginning of October at the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden. I cannot recommend Amy highly enough. She was calm, incredibly organized, and made everything about our day run smoothly. Our reception was in a different location than our ceremony site, and Amy handled the logistics perfectly. Amy felt like so much more than a day of coordinator--she answered questions for us several months in advance over email, and met with us in person twice to review logistics and walk through our venue. She offered great advice, created our day-of timeline, and confirmed logistics with our vendors. On the day of our wedding, we knew we had nothing to worry about, and she made us feel so calm. Amy is wonderful and we would highly recommend her to other couples looking for a perfect wedding coordinator!

We had a wonderful time working with Amy and have recommended her to our friends. She was indispensable, like a director on the day of. Informed the wedding party & parents to go directly to her and do as she says and things just worked. She handled a number of surprises & kept stuff on time so everyone enjoyed themselves (couple & wedding party included). If I could do it over again the first thing I'd do would be to hire Amy.

Amy was AMAZING! I honestly don't know what the day would have been without her. Even in high-stress situations, Amy was calm, collected and found the best solution quickly. She was quick on her feet and most importantly identified issues before they happened or even came to our attention. Our day was exactly what we had envisioned and we can't thank Amy enough for her positivity and fantastic work. ❤️ If you're on the fence about making the decision to hire her, I'll let you know right now - it will be the best decision you make for your big day!

Amy was an absolute pleasure to work with! Out of all the wedding vendors that we used (and there were a lot of them), Amy far and away was the most organized, helpful, responsive, and just overall fun to work with. From day one, she was clear about her role in our wedding and ensured that we were continually moving things in the right direction. She was available to chat and email pretty much around the clock. She also gave us recommendations on a couple other vendors, all of whom turned out to be great. Having now been through the wedding planning process, I can guarantee that your going to have stressful times - it just comes with the territory. But with Amy by your side, you'll have peace of mind knowing that everything is going to be taken care of because Amy knows what she's doing and this is certainly not her first rodeo. You will not regret having Amy by your side on your big day!
