Amanda was the BEST! She was super helpful answering any questions throughout the planning process and made sure everything went smoothly the day of our wedding. Could not recommend working with her more!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Hideaway (now Ella) in May 2024 with Amanda as our Officiant and Day of Coordinator. We knew we needed an Officiant, but I was hesitant to hire a Day of Coordinator because we were planning a low-key wedding and didn’t consider ourselves high maintenance. My husband talked me into it, and it ended up being a great decision.
Amanda has such a friendly and calming personality which made the process less stressful than it otherwise could have been. Very professional but very open and communicative.
Several planned meetings were great to get answers to our questions, for her to get to know us, and draft the timeline leading up to the wedding.
As Officiant: So many guests commented on how wonderful she was, and my mom wanted to adopt her. The ceremony was the perfect length, and she was able to pull our minimal comments together into a beautiful ceremony that was perfectly us.
As Coordinator: She attended our tasting where she got to know the venue, caterer, and us. Her notes translated seamlessly into execution on the day of, where arriving just a couple hours before the ceremony she had everything and everyone in place for things to go as planned. When Amanda saw a need, she addressed it, even helping the venue staff rearrange between the ceremony and reception. She checked in on us throughout the night – ensure we didn’t get too distracted and off schedule – and hung around until, as planned, things were on cruise control for the rest of the evening.
Other: We forgot our marriage license the night of the wedding (d’oh) so she made a special trip out the next day to sign for us. She goes above and beyond to make sure your day is special. Would highly recommend!

Amanda was an absolute rockstar! From the moment we met her, we were struck by her chill, down-to-earth demeanor and calming presence. It was clear that she genuinely cared about us as a couple and wanted to make our ceremony truly special. Amanda took the time to get to know us, which resulted in a ceremony that felt incredibly personalized and genuine. What really stood out was her non-judgmental and welcoming attitude towards all types of people. She created an atmosphere of inclusivity and warmth that resonated with everyone present. We planned our elopement with Amanda three times and every time she was very accommodating and sweet. She was really a joy to work with, recommended me some great locations for our elopement that we ended up using. Me and my wife are very thankful for Amanda!! Amanda was the absolute best officiant we could have asked for! She officiated our wedding on top of Black Balsam in spring of this year. We felt super comfortable in the weeks leading up to our wedding, as she supported us with preparation calls and made space for all of our questions. She was super clear with us from day 1 which made me so comfortable and confident that our wedding day would go smoothly! It was everything I could've asked for- Amanda facilitated a beautiful handfasting ceremony and held such loving space for my husband and I, as well as our family. She incorporated all the magickal witchy elements that were so important to me and I'm so grateful for that! My parents raved about her, from the words she delivered for us, to the open and warm way she welcomed my family- we have family with special needs and we're all so impressed by Amanda's inclusivity. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a magicakl officiant who is up for an adventure! She is reliable, communicates clearly, flexible, and has such a kind, warm presence. Amanda was absolutely incredible. We have had friends and family coming up to us since the wedding day, telling us how incredible the ceremony was, and more specifically how incredible Amanda was. Amanda was such a joy! Her energy was bright and warm. Having to choose someone unknown to marry us, we wanted to feel like it was a good fit and Amanda was just that for us. Amanda’s vibe was easy breezy but professional. The ceremony felt organic even though she barely knew us. We got to choose from a long list of non religious vows she sent us and were able to find one that felt 100% authentic for us. She kept our ceremony simple, sentimental, short, and sweet.
