It was clear that she genuinely cared about us as a couple and wanted to make our ceremony truly special. Amanda took the time to get to know us, which resulted in a ceremony that felt incredibly personalized and genuine. What really stood out was her non-judgmental and welcoming attitude towards all types of people. She created an atmosphere of inclusivity and warmth that resonated with everyone present. A beautiful, cold, mountain top elopement!
Amanda was the absolute best officiant we could have asked for! She officiated our wedding on top of Black Balsam in spring of this year. We felt super comfortable in the weeks leading up to our wedding, as she supported us with preparation calls and made space for all of our questions. She was super clear with us from day 1 which made me so comfortable and confident that our wedding day would go smoothly! It was everything I could've asked for- Amanda facilitated a beautiful handfasting ceremony and held such loving space for my husband and I, as well as our family. She incorporated all the magickal witchy elements that were so important to me and I'm so grateful for that! My parents raved about her, from the words she delivered for us, to the open and warm way she welcomed my family- we have family with special needs and we're all so impressed by Amanda's inclusivity. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a magicakl officiant who is up for an adventure! She is reliable, communicates clearly, flexible, and has such a kind, warm presence. You will be so happy you hired her! Cannot thank you enough, Amanda! -

10/10, Amanda was the absolute BEST! We had a great time talking with her a few times via zoom (due to our distance) prior to the wedding. Amanda was such a joy! Her energy was bright and warm. Having to choose someone unknown to marry us, we wanted to feel like it was a good fit and Amanda was just that for us. Amanda’s vibe was easy breezy but professional. The ceremony felt organic even though she barely knew us. We got to choose from a long list of non religious vows she sent us and were able to find one that felt 100% authentic for us. She kept our ceremony simple, sentimental, short, and sweet. Okay, if you're looking for an affordable, efficient, patient, detail-oriented, highly competent yet somehow relaxed wedding coordinator: look no further. Amanda Jones was an amazing day of coordinator for my wedding in April 2023. Not only was I blown away by her reasonable rate - it included a planning meeting, lots of suggestions and attention to the details me and my fiance hadn't considered. It included time for the stressed out phone calls I made to her as a bride planning her own wedding and wanting to go over the day of timeline....again. She was our point person the day of the wedding, our reception DJ and MC, literally our legitimate last minute OFFICIANT since our original officiant got Covid the week of the wedding. She was flexible, reassuring, confident, knows what she's doing. She could be charging a fortune, honestly. Hiring Amanda to be our coordinator was probably the absolute best decision we made for our wedding. It went off without a hitch and I was wayyy calmer the day of the wedding than I know I ever would have been with someone besides Amanda in charge. She's amazing; you will be thrilled with her services. Hire her! -

Beautiful & Perfect Ceremony!
My (now husband!) and I hired Amanda as our officiant for our Ashville wedding in April 2023 and wow Amanda blew our expectations out of the park! From the moment you talk with Amanda you immediately feel relaxed and so comfortable. She has a way of making you feel like you have known her forever. We answered a questionnaire online prior to our call, then reviewed our responses with a call. On our wedding day, Amanda was able to take our answers and create the most perfect ceremony we could have imagined. We by far received the most compliments from our guests on Amanda. Everyone was blown away and spoke very highly of the ceremony. Many guests thought we wrote it because it was so relatable to our personalities. I would 100% recommend Amanda to anyone!! It truly was an honor to work with her! -

During the elopement, she even trekked up a mountain in the cold wind and rain with us! The ceremony she facilitated was absolutely perfect, and she made us feel comfortable the whole day. -

My (now!!!) husband and I have had several conversations about what we feel had the biggest impact on our wedding day being so beautiful and so special this past week. We both unanimously agree the single most impactful decision we made was hiring Amanda as our officiant. Amanda took the time to truly get to know us as a couple-- our story, our values, our energy. She did this over a series of phone calls/Zoom calls since were out of state. She was, at every moment, organized, communicative, kind, creative, personable and helpful with questions about the process and about our venue (since she'd worked there before and we were out of state). She had fantastic ideas for how to personalize the ceremony to best reflect us and created an organized script that we were able to review and comment on beforehand. On the day of, she dressed beautifully and matched our color palette. Her words were just beautiful. So personalized to us. Her energy and tone matched our vision so well. Our ceremony was extremely natural, genuine, and authentic because of Amanda. I loved how she took a moment to have me take a second deep breath during the ceremony when my first one was obviously so shaky that I was not going to be able to get through my vows comfortably, lol! We firmly believe there is no way we could have been better represented in our ceremony. It was exactly reflective of us, our values, and our love. Our ceremony was SO special and we know she was a substantial reason for that. Hiring Amanda was the most impactful decision we made on our wedding day. I cannot recommend her highly enough, you will be blown away by her genuine heart, spirit, talent, and kindness. Blessings to you, dear Amanda! -

Amanda was the absolute best! I had a lot of *feelings* about how I wanted my wedding ceremony to sound/feel, and she was so sensitive and transparent and helpful in putting together a ceremony that felt perfect for us. She took time to get to know us and helped us to choose readings and a unity ritual that were most meaningful for us. On the actual day she was a grounding presence, helping us get set up and wrangle our guests so we could get started. During the ceremony we laughed, we cried, and afterward our family and friends asked if we had known her for a long time. It certainly felt that way! :)

Can’t imagine a better experience with an officiant
Amanda made our wedding ceremony everything we wanted and more! We had so many people ask who she was and how we knew her, saying she did such a perfect job!! We also did pre-marital coaching with Amanda and I’m so glad we did that. It’s been great for our relationship and I’m glad Amanda got to know us more in those meetings (and vice versa.)

Amanda was by far one of our favorite vendors and friends we made throughout our wedding planning process! We knew from the moment we spoke with her for the first time that she was our kind of person and I'm so thankful we entrusted her with our big day! She got to know us individually and together, and then did an amazing job of wrapping our 6-year love story into the sweetest and most intimate replay for our closest people. There was not a dry eye in our entire 90-person ceremony and we have received countless compliments on what a perfect job she did describing our love for everyone.
Amanda is so wonderful and made us feel at ease throughout what would normally be many stressful times over the course of our wedding planning process and marriage weekend. We are so thankful we met her and I would urge you to hire her immediately; it will be the best decision you make for your big day! -

Perfect Officiant for a Private Mountain Elopement!
My husband and I chose Amanda to for our private mountain top elopement. Choosing Amanda for our special day was the best choice we could've made. She we had a few phone calls and a zoom call prior to our elopement, but it felt like we had brought a friend to marry us! She helped us with our wedding day time line, talked to us about locations, and provided a few tips for writing our vows.
Our wedding day started off with rain, and while we waited for the rain to pass, Amanda hung out with us and our photographer in the car--it felt like we had known her forever! Amanda went above and beyond anything I would've expected from an officiant! She helped me zip up my wedding dress, carry a couple of things, and she was great to talk to as we took our little trip up the mountain. Our ceremony was the perfect mix of what we had requested--intimate, personal, and little bit of fun! She told our love story perfectly and wrapped in some of our jokes--she had me laughing and crying. She also makes a great effort to run out of the way for first kiss photos! After the wedding, she sent us the script for our ceremony, which meant the world to us because we did not have a videographer. This is something that will help us remember our ceremony and how special it truly was. She also handled mailing in our marriage license--I did not have any stress over the handling of paperwork as she took care of it for us!
I highly recommend Amanda if you want a memorable ceremony for your special day!

I've been married for over 1 year now and have just neglected to give a review of Happily Ever Asheville due to being LAME! I apologize because I have failed anyone who has considered Amanda as their officiant in that time. Had I written a review that may have swayed you it would have been this one:
My partner and I are not the most comfortable when it comes to shining the light on ourselves and we definitely did not know what it would feel like to have someone had never known speak about our partnership and what a life together can be. Happily Ever Asheville literally eased all of our worries away. The first meeting was a calm and comfortable discovery session and we left with questions that helped us look inward at our relationship and strength what we already had. Planning our own small backyard wedding is more stressful than it sounds and Amanda stayed in touch just enough to settle any concerns but also gave enough distances that we didn't feel smothered by one more person trying to help! Then the day came; I sort of black out during big events like this but I can say that everything was taken care of for me. Amanda's words were beautiful and our evening was perfect.
I can't thank Happily Ever Asheville enough. -

If you need a wedding officiant or day-of-coordinator, seriously look no further! Amazing and Amanda start with the same letters for a reason! Amanda was a literal life saver. I wasn't even planning on hiring a coordinator and I would have had a legit breakdown if I hadn't. She is so extremely knowledgeable about weddings and helped me keep a cool head with her patience, skills, and humor. She knew what needed to happen and got it done; the photographer needed the family? She RAN to find them. Caterer had questions about where the extra alcohol was? She showed them the way. Wedding party all acted a fool during the rehearsal dinner? She whipped them into shape! Nerves needed calming during the ceremony? She started with a grounding/breathing exercise to keep us all focused and in the moment. A literal angel! -

Exceptional service with a flare of humor and good vibes
Amanda and her company happily ever Asheville are top notch and what made our wedding most memorable. Throughout our experience with Amanda we felt extremely connected to her and the process on how our ceremony would go. We were traveling down to Asheville from NY so we were unaware of certain permits and rules that were in place for weddings. Amanda helped us navigate that from a far and made us feel at ease. Although we had chatted with Amanda on various phone calls it wasn’t until our actual wedding day that we met Amanda. Right from the second she stepped out of her car it was as if we had all been friends for a while. She hiked Hawksbill trail with us and when we reached the top she was helpful in navigating the right spot to do the ceremony and keep us on track for time. She is LGBTQ+ friendly and helps with any concerns you may have regarding your wedding day. She was helpful in suggesting unique ways to write my vows. I would refer her to anyone that is looking for a special ceremony that sheds light on the story of the couple and how they came to be. She is truly a master at what she does and how she conveys your love story. You won’t regret your decision with Happily Ever Asheville! -

Amanda, played such a large part in making our elopement amazing! She was easy to work with and very responsive from the start with information about the services she offers directly on her website.
For our wedding day, Amanda was able to write a script that was truly personal and so special, starting the waterworks before we even made it to the vows! After the ceremony, my partner remarked on how Amanda was able to encapsulate so much of who we are -our goals, dreams, and personality- from a single 30 minute phone call. I too was surprised but so grateful as it went beyond anything we could have ever imagined or hoped for! I would recommend Amanda to every couple searching for an officiant but especially for those looking to find someone that is able to create a wonderful ceremony that feels as if it is being led by an old friend! Best Day Ever!
We chose Amanda to officiate our mountain elopement ceremony a couple of weeks ago. Despite us living in another city, she worked with us over the phone to create our perfect day. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple in order to create a personalized ceremony. She also provided excellent guidance when it came to writing our vows. The day of the wedding, she talked us through the process to make sure everything went smoothly. It was a beautiful day that I’ll never forget!

It rained on the day of my microwedding. It was supposed to be on top of a mountain outside of Asheville. There were epic thunderstorms the day off which made it dangerous to drive up to the summit. We decided to relocate the ceremony to the cabin one of our families was staying at. Amanda was amazing in not only helping us write our personalized vows (which I did not initially want to do, but she coached me through it), but she also helped us choose an entirely new site for our ceremony. Both our families were blown away at how personal, beautiful and moving the ceremony was. Amanda was incredible at personalizing our ceremony and making it more amazing than my husband and I could have imagined. I wish I had gotten a copy of her ceremony, Amanda delivered a ceremony that sounded as if we had been friends for years. -

Amanda. Where do we begin with you. We came from Indiana to elope in Asheville, just the two of us and our puppy. Amanda met us for drinks once we were settled in our AirBnB and it was as if we’d known each other for months. She was so personable, welcoming and so very genuine. She eased our minds and wanted to make this time as simple and stress free for us as possible. She was super responsive in texts/calls and emails. I can’t recommend her enough. I often say to my wife that I want Amanda to marry us again. It was absolutely amazing. Amanda, thank you for opening your city to us and for marrying us. -

We "heart" Amanda!!!
Amanda officiated my wedding in 2016. We were looking for someone who we felt represented our marital beliefs and was someone I trusted. We weren’t looking for a religious figure, but more of a stable grounded officiant who would really solidify our love. Amanda did an excellent job and even provided coaching services prior to our ceremony. Amanda is reliable, prompt, very responsive and dedicated, while being understanding, and a great stronghold to seek counsel from. We didn't know how the ceremony was supposed to go, so we told her the general idea of what we wanted and she created a beautiful ceremony on her own, following the guidelines and main points we wanted her to cover. Her openness to love and her relationship with us was a great reason to pick her and we're so glad we did! We'd choose her all over again.

Amanda was absolutely instrumental in making our dream wedding ceremony come true. She exceeded our wildest expectations to help us create a seamless and meaningful ceremony, as both a friend and officiant.
In the months leading up to our wedding, Amanda was a touchstone for organization and sanity! Her background in counseling makes her the perfect the confidant for dealing with the stresses of planning a wedding. We began our process with her through a marriage consultation. During this, she thoughtfully provided us with comprehensive questions to generate guidance for our vows, and to get a sense of our vision for our ceremony. She even provided us with a fun activity to do as a couple at the end of the session, which left us feeling tickled, in love, and self-assured.
During the actual day of the ceremony Amanda truly showed her expertise as a planning professional. She wore several (metaphorical) hats that day, serving us as an usher, a wedding planner, an officiant, and an M.C. Her charm and wit allowed her to manage all of the various degrees of guests with ease. She was punctual and direct while remaining calm and celebratory. Not to mention, her script brought tears of laughter and love to everyone at our intimate celebration.
I will say it again, I truly could not have pulled off my wedding day without Amanda. I would highly recommend her to couples looking for a down-to-earth, savvy, and inclusive officiant who you can rely on to go well beyond the call of duty! -
