I first fell in love with their photography after following them on instagram, and after our initial phone call we knew we had to book them. Not only did they capture ALL the most perfect moments (during our engagement session and wedding day), but they also have the most calming presence which is exactly what we needed for our day. They make you feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera to get naturally posed portraits, but they also manage to capture amazing candids and fun behind the scene moments. Communication with them was a breeze and they are overall such wonderful people to work with. They captured our day perfectly and made us feel like we were back in those moments while looking at our photos (and these are only the sneak peeks so far!!). My husband and I are so grateful to Jes and Chris for capturing our Lake Wallenpaupack elopement! We were so glad to be able to add an engagement photo shoot as part of our package and knew we picked the two best people to capture our wedding after seeing our natural and beautiful engagement photos. We wanted the photographers to capture the day as it was and weren’t interested in stiff poses. Jes and Chris we extremely helpful in planning a timeline of the day so that they could capture all of our special moments. My husband and I just got married last Wednesday (Sept 7th) and we couldn't be happier that we chose Hand and Arrow Photography to capture all of the memories of our special day! Jess and Chris are seriously the BEST photographers ever! Both my husband and I are pretty shy people and don't really feel comfortable being in front of a camera. But Jess and Chris made us feel so comfortable - like you are just hanging out with your best friends! They are also so flexible and willing to do anything to help you out! Jess even helped my mother in law steam out some wrinkles in my dress to make sure it looked perfect for our big day. Their photography skills are quite amazing also. Our wedding day was cloudy and we really wanted sunset pictures. They said no problem, we can get those for you and with their talents, they were able to work the camera and their other tools to capture photos with a sunset. We were truly blown away by that!

So I saw Jes and Chris's photo's and knew I wanted to hire them. They were a pleasure to work with, responding to any emails and providing surveys and information to make sure the photos they took matched my vision. Jes was incredibly sweet and supportive (I'm not much of a model and probably needed some coaching). They worked incredibly professional and knew what they were doing, and also worked incredibly well with my videographer (making sure they weren't in ones way and could get the proper shots). All in all, I loved them and wouldn't be leaving a review otherwise. Definitely hire them.

Where do I begin. Jes and Chris are just amazing, and basically our friends now. Their photos alone speak for themselves, just amazing. They are also so incredibly easy to work with, genuinely nice people, and are so creative. They are not pushy, super flexible, and they have amazing ideas for photos.
