Stunning photography and wonderful team to work with!!
We cannot say enough great things about Jes and Chris, a truly incredible husband and wife photography dream team! I first fell in love with their photography after following them on instagram, and after our initial phone call we knew we had to book them. Not only did they capture ALL the most perfect moments (during our engagement session and wedding day), but they also have the most calming presence which is exactly what we needed for our day. They make you feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera to get naturally posed portraits, but they also manage to capture amazing candids and fun behind the scene moments. Communication with them was a breeze and they are overall such wonderful people to work with. They captured our day perfectly and made us feel like we were back in those moments while looking at our photos (and these are only the sneak peeks so far!!). My husband and I are so grateful to Jes and Chris for capturing our Lake Wallenpaupack elopement! We were so glad to be able to add an engagement photo shoot as part of our package and knew we picked the two best people to capture our wedding after seeing our natural and beautiful engagement photos. We wanted the photographers to capture the day as it was and weren’t interested in stiff poses. Jes and Chris we extremely helpful in planning a timeline of the day so that they could capture all of our special moments. They captured the essence of our day perfectly and made us and our friends feel extremely comfortable. We could not believe that we got our sneak peek pics (over 120 photos!) less than 3 days later, and our full gallery within a month after our big day. We could not be happier with our photos and are very grateful to have worked with such kind and genuine people. Our loved ones can’t believe how beautiful the photos are as well. My husband and I just got married last Wednesday (Sept 7th) and we couldn't be happier that we chose Hand and Arrow Photography to capture all of the memories of our special day! Jess and Chris are seriously the BEST photographers ever! Both my husband and I are pretty shy people and don't really feel comfortable being in front of a camera. But Jess and Chris made us feel so comfortable - like you are just hanging out with your best friends! They are also so flexible and willing to do anything to help you out! Jess even helped my mother in law steam out some wrinkles in my dress to make sure it looked perfect for our big day. Their photography skills are quite amazing also. Our wedding day was cloudy and we really wanted sunset pictures. They said no problem, we can get those for you and with their talents, they were able to work the camera and their other tools to capture photos with a sunset. We were truly blown away by that!
They also sent our sneak peeks SUPER fast and they all look FABULOUS!
They are genuinely amazing people and their skills behind the camera are truly out of this world. If you are looking for a compassionate, friendly, and skilled set of photographers, look no further! Jess and Chris are the ones for you. 😁❤️

Hire Hand & Arrow immediately! Jes & Chris were one of the best choices we made for our wedding. From the minute we met them at our engagement shoot they made us feel comfortable and helped us to take some beautiful shots. Fast forward to the day of the wedding and I cannot imagine the day without them. They are a great team and really understand how to capture a wedding day. Jes and Chris are excellent photographers and completely captured mine and my fiance's personalities for our engagement shoot. I'm always a little nervous that professional photos will feel awkward and look super staged or corny. Jes and Chris made the entire experience comfortable and fun. We didn't feel awkward at all and the results were amazing! We can't wait to use our photos for our Save the Dates and wedding website. -

Amazing Photos & Amazing People
So I saw Jes and Chris's photo's and knew I wanted to hire them. They were a pleasure to work with, responding to any emails and providing surveys and information to make sure the photos they took matched my vision. Jes was incredibly sweet and supportive (I'm not much of a model and probably needed some coaching). They worked incredibly professional and knew what they were doing, and also worked incredibly well with my videographer (making sure they weren't in ones way and could get the proper shots). Absolutely Phenomenal Photography
I cannot say enough good things about Hand and Arrow. As soon as we saw their work, we knew Jes and Chris were who we were going to use. What I didn’t know, is what a pleasure they would be to work with. The entire process was so smooth from start to finish and working with Jes and Chris is like catching up with old friends.
Hand and Arrow Photography are beyond phenomenal at what they do. They have this incredible ability to capture the energy of a moment in a way that feels like magic. I especially love the way they bring out the richness in colors while keeping everything cohesive. They angle their photography to create a story-like composition in every single photo. Their style is as vibrant and as welcoming as they are. The richness and clarity of the photos makes it really feel like you can jump back into these moments and relive them all over again. I have so many beautiful photos from our engagement shoot and wedding, the hardest part is choosing which to display! We also have many friends and coworkers who loved their action shots so much, they use them as their profile pictures.
We have never taken professional photographs before. Hand and Arrow is so skilled in the way they’re able to get their couples comfortable enough to immediately bring out the trueness of their relationship. I would and will use Hand and Arrow again and again for any milestone my husband and I share. I often catch myself going back to our gallery and admiring our photos and every time, I am so impressed with their work. From the high energy of the party reels to the intimate captures, it feels like no moment was left out. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to use Hand and Arrow Photography Co.

Five stars aren't enough. From the first minutes of our intro call to our wedding day send-off, Jes and Chris somehow exceeded our high hopes and then some. They are gifted, meticulous, kind, calm, and contagiously positive. You can't help but feel at ease around them, and you can feel confident in their steady support. Jes and Chris are experts not only in photography but in wedding day planning and execution. Know nothing about planning a wedding and need an entire day-of timeline? You got it. Need your veil pinned into your hair? Give Jes 30 seconds. Feeling nervous and need a pep talk? They've got you. As for the photos themselves...our wedding sneak peek gallery left us with our jaws on the ground. Though we booked Hand and Arrow for our engagement shoot and wedding day, we feel confident recommending them for any type of event. I was SO lucky to meet Jes and Chris at my friend’s wedding a few years ago. I absolutely loved their photos and when we started to plan our wedding, working with Jes and Chris was the easiest and BEST decision we made.
They are just so sweet and amazing to work with. They made us feel so comfortable at our engagement shoot - it felt like hanging out with friends, not your photographers. And then they went above and beyond helping with every little detail of our wedding day; from rescheduling for covid, creating timelines, wrangling family for photos to make sure we got every shot we wanted, running into the rain for that “one perfect picture”… they were there for us through it all!

Not only are Jes & Chris the sweetest souls, but they ARE our dream photographers and we could not have picked a better duo to capture the memories of our wedding day. Not only were Jes & Chris our wedding photographers, but they were our support system & wedding planner, all wrapped in one pretty package.
We were initially drawn to their amazing photography style and connected through Instagram. From the initial stages of the planning process to our wedding day (which was unfortunately postponed a year later), Jes and Chris were always there for us - quick to respond and address any and all our needs. Our encounters with Jes and Chris felt like that of long-time friends. We hired Jes and Chris back in January of 2019 – not knowing just how long our wedding planning process would be. While 2020 had it’s many twists and turns, Jes and Chris were extremely flexible with our rescheduling along the way. When we postponed our original wedding ceremony, we decided to elope in the meantime. We still wanted photos of this special day and they were more than helpful in capturing it. Jes helped us find the perfect location and plan out the perfectly smooth morning. With just the 4 of us there, Jes and Chris served as the witnesses for our self-uniting elopement, which was extra special.
Fast forward to April of 2020, we had our “traditional” ceremony and reception. Jes and Chris were there throughout the day, not only to capture the photographs, but also helping with odds and ends (thanks Jes, for all of the help with my hair and bustle). The evening went smooth and they knew exactly when to pull us away for more portraits so that we didn’t feel like we were missing out on the party.
Not only have we received 3 galleries of beautiful photos to remember our special day(s), but we also feel like we have made great friends along the way. Thank you so much Jes & Chris!

Where to begin with these guys?! You NEED to hire Jes + Chris for your special event! They are a dream team, the nicest, most down to earth people, and stellar photographers! I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! We found Jes + Chris online, and from day one of talking to them, we knew we had found our photographers. We trust them completely! Every single email was detailed and professional, EXTREMELY helpful and super friendly! Working with them was like working with friends! They sent so much useful information about planning a wedding + elopement and they had so many wonderful tips and tricks that they’ve picked up over the years. Also, planning anything during a global pandemic is stressful- they handled it like pros!! For our engagement pictures, they made us feel so comfortable and we spent the whole day laughing together. (I highly recommend booking an engagement shoot before your wedding so you can meet them and also get used to getting your picture taken...we are awkward turtles and we definitely needed the warmup!) They also roll with the punches! We had planned an Airbnb elopement in the Poconos- at the last second we had to change our plans and host our ceremony at my parents house...they didn’t miss a beat, jumped on board with the new plan, and immediately helped plan out some day-of photo ops! And on wedding day, they were a DREAM to work with! They have a vision and they know how to execute it flawlessly! And of course, their pictures are gorgeous! They sent us some sneak peeks the day after our wedding and we are just blown away. We cannot wait to see more! I want to print every single picture, frame them, and fill an entire house with them!! My wife and I hired Hand and Arrow Photography to capture our very private and personal elopement, and we could not have been happier that we decided to go with them! We always wanted to have a big crazy wedding with lots of friends and family members in attendance but, because of all the craziness going on in the world recently, we decided it was best to simply elope in a private and intimate ceremony. Since our friends and family were unable to attend, we wanted to hire photographers who could capture the day in such a way that, when they looked through the photos, they would feel as if they were right there with us, and Hand & Arrow Photography nailed it.
As photographers, Jes and Chris are simply on another level in terms of skill and creativity. From the first moment we met them, they were professional, punctual, courteous, thoughtful, upbeat, and extremely innovative with their approach to photographing our wedding. We were staying at the Glasbern Inn in Fogelsville, PA, where our ceremony was to take place, and on the day of the wedding we were as nervous as we were excited. But the moment Jes and Chris arrived, the mood shifted from tension to ease, and they wasted no time diving into our world to capture the intricacies of each and every beautiful moment.
Jes spent the afternoon with my wife, taking wonderful pictures of her preparing for the ceremony, getting her hair and makeup and dress ready, while Chris shadowed me and captured my point of view of the moments leading up the wedding. Their professionalism and experience began to shine quite quickly as they snapped amazing pics of the behind-the-scenes of the wedding, but in a very relaxed and easy-going way. It honestly felt more like I was hanging out with old friends rather than photographers we just hired and never met before. They are pros, plain and simple. Their catalog of previous work speaks for itself but to see them in action was quite amazing. They captured the most intimate moments with ease, and I never felt any pressure to look or act or stand or smile or pose in a certain way. They simply just captured the memorable moments we were already creating without knowing it. The ceremony went off without a hitch, and then the real fun began. We rode the excitement into the post-ceremony portraits, which was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. The energy was high and, while my wife and I were soaking in the fresh feeling of being married, Jes and Chris were taking what turned out to be some of the most beautiful and stunning pictures I’ve ever seen. As we were posing and laughing and enjoying the newlywed vibes, Jes and Chris were diligently creating masterful portraits that perfectly encapsulated the amazing afternoon that was my wedding.
After the festivities, they were able to quickly send us back some “sneak peaks” of the wedding a day or so later and we were in awe. The scenery, the excitement, the love, and the overall atmosphere were all perfectly captured in a way we never thought possible. They nailed it.
It is such a fantastic thought to know that we not only discovered two of the best photographers we’ve ever seen, but we met two great people who became instant friends as well. If my wife and I ever need professional photographers for ANY occasion in the future, we know exactly who to call: Hand & Arrow Photography.

Like Working With Family!
We have been working with Hand and Arrow since 2018 when we first got engaged. As soon as we sat down with them we had an instant connection and knew we were in good hands. Chris and Jes made us feel comfortable and shake away al those nerves you get in front of the camera. The photos we received back for our engagement session, wedding day, and anniversary session were absolutely stunning! We were able to use their built in store to buy amazing prints to hang in our home. Jes and Chris are beyond amazing photographers but they’re also incredible people. Having them around felt like being with friends and they are SO amazing and SO sweet. We had guests come up to us all night telling us how great the photographers were! And they did so much more than photography, Jes bustled my dress and Chris taught the guys how to put boutonnières on - and even put my husband’s on for him!
From the first interaction on the phone I felt like Jes and I had been friends for years. Our photos from our engagement shoot are like a work of art and I’m obsessed with them all.
Booking them was the best decision we ever made for our wedding! If they have your date available book them now and never look back! I know for sure we will be in touch to do more shoots later as our family grows ❤️ -

Best Photographers Ever!
Hand and Arrow were absolutely the BEST to work with. They were beyond accommodating to all the unforeseen changes (date, location) that we had to make due to COVID. I cannot express how grateful we were that they were so flexible. My husband and I aren't the most comfortable being photographed, but Jes and Chris made us feel relaxed and confident on our engagement shoot and also on our big day. They are both such warm people and their work truly speaks for itself. I have received so many compliments on our gorgeous photos and feel lucky to have our wedding forever documented by these great photographers. -

We found Jes and Chris about a year and a half before our wedding, thankfully early enough in the planning journey to be able to book them! We knew instantly just by looking at their website that they encompassed the perfect style of photography that we had been hoping to find for our wedding. After our brief introduction phone call with the 2 of them, we just knew they were the perfect fit for us. Jes and Chris are a magical power couple! First we had our engagement shoot in Philly back in October of 2018, followed by months of planning and plenty of open communication and then finally, our big day in Bethlehem, PA just this past October (2019). We could not have chosen a better couple to master our wedding photos. We literally loved every second spent with Jes and Chris. During our entire wedding day (we chose their full day wedding package so they were with us from early morning until 10pm!), Jes stuck with me and my bridesmaids while Chris was with my husband and his groomsmen. They both have such an amazing and collaborative style, they captured every ounce of the "moody" style we were going for, every little detail and every special moment that took place through out the day. The story of our wedding day is now able to be told through the photos that Hand and Arrow flawlessly created for us. Jes and Chris knew exactly which breathtaking scenery and angles would make for the perfect photos. They were able to organically capture our ring bearers and flower girls (our neices and nephews ranging from age 1-10) which was extremely important to us. They made us feel so unbelievably comfortable all day long and they even laughed with us during every goofy moment of the day. We could not be happier with the way that our day turned out and all of the memories that we now have to share through photos for the rest of our life all thanks to Jes and Chris. We used Jes and Chris for our wedding in August, and they went above and beyond expectations.
The pre-wedding process was smooth and seamless. They offered wonderful suggestions, created a wedding timeline for us, and were very organized.
On the wedding day they came right on time, and made all of us feel so beautiful and comfortable. Everything was perfectly timed. Nothing ran behind!
And the photos came out perfect. They captured the magic, love and laughter of the event. I look at them all of the time, and am immediately taken back to the most wonderful day of my life. I couldn’t be happier with the choice we made!

We found Jess and Chris via social media and loved the style that they were able to bring to weddings. They are not cookie cutter photographers, they create an experience through their photos that we will be able to relive for years to come!
