Chef Maria and her staff provided the perfect meal and service for our late October wedding! Over the course of an entire year, Chef Maria was in contact to ensure that we were all on the same page and had all of our questions answered. She was helpful via email and happy to cater and add to specific ideas we had, even when our menu items changed multiple times over months of decision-making. She participated in an in-person meeting with our coordinator and venue manager at the venue to ensure she understood the workings at a venue she hadn’t been to before and had everything needed for the cocktail hour and dinner locations. Our wedding was loosely Lord of the Rings themed, and so we wanted to have a “Second Breakfast” buffet at the reception. Chef Maria was very excited about the theme and had lots of ideas for the menu, and she even asked if the staff could dress up/accessorize like the movie characters. Oh my gosh, the food was SO DELICIOUS: the best biscuits and gravy, pancakes with different toppings, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon/sausage…for what sounds like a humble menu, the team made it look and taste as if it was really the most special breakfast ever and very worthy of a wedding meal. The presentation for both cocktail hour and dinner items was aesthetically pleasing and well decorated, as well. Our guests raved about the food. The whole catering team was extremely professional and pleasant over the course of the busy day, and they took excellent care of the venue spaces and with cleaning up/packing up leftovers after dinner. I feel that the Gypsy Soul team went above and beyond for our wedding, and I would 100% recommend Gypsy Soul to anyone in need of catering, especially for themed events! Thank you, Chef Maria!

Chef Maria and her team are outstanding! To start, her website is so detailed so I had many questions answered before we even began. Maria is professional, kind, and prompt. The food is outstanding and very unique-we had a dessert bar and no one at our wedding at ever seen/had that! The food is delicious and her team was so professional. She even got table decorations/colors in order to match our wedding theme. Love this catering team and their food/service is outstanding!!

I was impressed initially with the level of detail on Gypsy Soul Catering's website, which clearly outlined the packages available. Then we went in for a tasting and saw the level of professionalism and detail Chef Maria displays, and we got to taste the amazing food. We knew instantly that we would be using Gypsy Soul for our wedding. I don't have a very easy time giving up control or trusting that everything will go smoothly, but I never had any of those uneasy feelings when working with Chef Maria. I always knew that she was on top of every request and detail I wanted for our special day. She asked about the theme of our wedding, and she set up a beautiful dessert table that fit in with our theme perfectly. I was able to send her pinterest boards, and she completely captured the essence of what I was going for. (I was initially nervous about this - I wanted to purchase all my own stands to display desserts, but I turned it over to the team at Gypsy Soul instead and it was perfect.) On our wedding day, the food was FANTASTIC. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I am so so so happy with how our food turned out, how professional the staff was, and how our needs were provided for. Chef Maria exceeded our expectations! We went with the Italian dinner for our wedding reception, and it was the best wedding food I’ve ever had by far. All the guests raved about the quality of the food. Everything was delicious and you can tell she put her heart and soul into that food. Everything was flavorful and juicy. Would definitely recommend to others 10/10
