Chef Maria and her staff provided the perfect meal and service for our late October wedding! Over the course of an entire year, Chef Maria was in contact to ensure that we were all on the same page and had all of our questions answered. She was helpful via email and happy to cater and add to specific ideas we had, even when our menu items changed multiple times over months of decision-making. She participated in an in-person meeting with our coordinator and venue manager at the venue to ensure she understood the workings at a venue she hadn’t been to before and had everything needed for the cocktail hour and dinner locations. Our wedding was loosely Lord of the Rings themed, and so we wanted to have a “Second Breakfast” buffet at the reception. Chef Maria was very excited about the theme and had lots of ideas for the menu, and she even asked if the staff could dress up/accessorize like the movie characters. Oh my gosh, the food was SO DELICIOUS: the best biscuits and gravy, pancakes with different toppings, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon/sausage…for what sounds like a humble menu, the team made it look and taste as if it was really the most special breakfast ever and very worthy of a wedding meal. The presentation for both cocktail hour and dinner items was aesthetically pleasing and well decorated, as well. Our guests raved about the food. The whole catering team was extremely professional and pleasant over the course of the busy day, and they took excellent care of the venue spaces and with cleaning up/packing up leftovers after dinner. I feel that the Gypsy Soul team went above and beyond for our wedding, and I would 100% recommend Gypsy Soul to anyone in need of catering, especially for themed events! Thank you, Chef Maria! -

We hired Gypsy Soul for our daughter’s wedding, and they went above and beyond in every way. The food was incredible — beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned, and served hot to every guest. Maria is an outstanding chef!
The team was professional, organized, and kind — they handled setup, service, and cleanup seamlessly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Communication leading up to the event was excellent, and they worked with us to customize the menu and timing perfectly.
If you’re planning a wedding or special event, do yourself a favor and book Gypsy Soul. They truly helped make our day unforgettable. -

We had a great family birthday celebration last weekend. Gypsy Soul did a wonderful job catering. Food was delicious and staff very helpful. Affordable choice of menu's. So glad we chose them for this event. It was lovely to not have to deal with the cooking too! -

Chef Maria and her team are outstanding! To start, her website is so detailed so I had many questions answered before we even began. Maria is professional, kind, and prompt. The food is outstanding and very unique-we had a dessert bar and no one at our wedding at ever seen/had that! The food is delicious and her team was so professional. She even got table decorations/colors in order to match our wedding theme. Love this catering team and their food/service is outstanding!! -

All of our guests loved the food Chef Maria and her staff served at our wedding. The display was beautiful and better than I could even imagine. Her staff were friendly, discreet, and very attentive. The food was wonderful and fairly priced! Chef Maria goes above and beyond for her clients and it shows! She accommodated me during a time that was rough and never ceases to be professional. I will recommend her to any friend hosting an event or wedding! -

Absolutely Fantastic
I was impressed initially with the level of detail on Gypsy Soul Catering's website, which clearly outlined the packages available. Then we went in for a tasting and saw the level of professionalism and detail Chef Maria displays, and we got to taste the amazing food. We knew instantly that we would be using Gypsy Soul for our wedding. I don't have a very easy time giving up control or trusting that everything will go smoothly, but I never had any of those uneasy feelings when working with Chef Maria. I always knew that she was on top of every request and detail I wanted for our special day. She asked about the theme of our wedding, and she set up a beautiful dessert table that fit in with our theme perfectly. I was able to send her pinterest boards, and she completely captured the essence of what I was going for. (I was initially nervous about this - I wanted to purchase all my own stands to display desserts, but I turned it over to the team at Gypsy Soul instead and it was perfect.) On our wedding day, the food was FANTASTIC. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I am so so so happy with how our food turned out, how professional the staff was, and how our needs were provided for. I recommend Gypsy Soul Catering to anyone looking to have amazing food, with perfect presentation and professionalism, on their wedding day or for any event. Best catering experience I could have asked for. -

Gypsy Soul Catering did a great job for my wedding. We fell in love with Maria's cooking at our tasting and knew that her food was a must have for our wedding. We went with the Italian dinner. Maria is so accommodating and was so easy to work with when we had to adjust our menu. Her staff was also very helpful and respectful.
I highly recommend the desert bar. All of our guests raved about it!! The spinach artichoke dip is also phenomenal and was a big hit with our guests. Maria was so kind to leave us with a ton of leftovers after the wedding too.

There's a reason Chef Maria and her team consistantly get 5 stars. They are nothing short of miracle workers. Chef Maria is whole heartedly one of the best people you could ever meet and work with. Treats each detail as if its personal. The food was amazing, we had a black tie wedding event on New Years Eve and the biggest compliment we got was about how good the food was. We had the holiday dinner and you could just tell each dish was made with so much love. Her gravy for the Turkey and Mashed Potatoes belongs in its own food group it was sooo good. Like eyes roll back in your head good. From the Turkey and Ham to all the sides, to desserts and right down to the hot chocolate bar, everything was amazing! We're just looking now to make up reasons why we need her to cater another event :) Thanks for everything Chef! -

Amazing Food and Superb Service
Chef Maria catered my daughter's wedding reception and I don't have enough superlatives to express what a triumph her food and service were! She is the consummate professional and her food and her presentation display the care and love with which she creates and serves her food. From the tasting, to the booking, to the on-site visit, the service and clean up, Chef Maria and her marvelous staff exemplified gold star customer service. She is simply a fabulous chef and an equally marvelous person. -

Maria and her team were so sweet and helpful and the food was delicious! We had a taco bar and it was a very reasonable price and of course everyone loved TACOS! I threw a couple of curve balls for their set up and her and her team adapted and were very resourceful and happy to make me and my fiancé happy! Would highly recommend! Support local and support small business! -

She was very responsive to all my questions and meet with me several times to go over everything to make sure my needs were met. She definitely made the catering for my wedding stress free. Chef Maria and her team at Gypsy Soul Catering are absolutely incredible! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my summer 2020 wedding plans had to change drastically in the span of about three months. I was in need to a caterer last minute and Gypsy Soul Catering delivered more than I could have hoped for! Chef Maria was so accommodating and helpful in making my wedding dreams come true even under a time crunch! The food was affordable, plentiful, and DELICIOUS! All the guests were raving about the wonderful and unique food prepared! I honestly can't thank her enough! I would definitely recommend Gypsy Soul Catering for your next event, and would absolutely use their services again in the future!
