I cannot recommend DJ Scott more!! He was SO fun, positive, organized, easy to work with, and knew how to keep the party going!! If you’re looking for a wedding DJ who truly gets it, look no further than Scott! From the very beginning, choosing Scott was a no-brainer. He was a preferred vendor for our venue and had DJed there what felt like a million times—including for our cousin’s wedding several years ago and even our coordinator’s own wedding! We knew we needed him and booked him quickly after locking in our venue.

Even before we signed the contract, Scott answered every question we had with honesty, transparency, and genuine enthusiasm—exactly what you want when planning something as important (and sometimes overwhelming!) as a wedding. His online portal made planning SO easy. It was thorough, super user-friendly, and answered most of our questions before we even had to ask. But if we did reach out, Scott always replied quickly via email or text.

One of our favorite parts of the planning process was using his music planning worksheet—it helped us pick out songs and really envision our day together. We leaned into some untraditional choices, and Scott rolled with it all and made our wedding feel completely “us.” A few days before the big day, we had a final call with him and it was clear he was already fully prepared, organized, and ready to go—music to this Type A bride’s ears!

Scott coordinated seamlessly with our officiant, speakers, and all our other vendors and handled the logistics without us needing to lift a finger. Our ceremony music was spot-on, the reception kicked off perfectly, and he stayed close during speeches and toasts in case anything came up (spoiler: everything ran smoothly!).

But what really set Scott apart was his attention to detail. My husband had casually mentioned he loved ’90s–2000s throwbacks, grunge, and rock—but wasn’t sure if it would work for a wedding. Scott didn’t forget. He started the night with fun, multigenerational hits and worked in our favorite throwbacks flawlessly. That dance floor was PACKED all night long. We got more compliments on the music than almost anything else—from teens to grandparents, people were raving. One guest even said, “We usually don’t know the music at weddings anymore, but this was the best music we’ve heard at a wedding in years.”

Even my husband—who doesn’t normally dance and hates being the center of attention—was out there in the middle of the floor, singing and dancing his heart out! And to top it all off, Scott joined us on the dance floor, which made it even more fun. Our people loved him—we loved him—and he exceeded every single expectation we had.

Oh, and the cherry on top? Scott helped me surprise my husband with a private last dance to end the night. It was magical.

We still haven’t stopped talking about how incredible the music was—and neither have our guests. Hands down, the best music we’ve ever experienced at a wedding. Thank you, Scott, for giving us the soundtrack to the best day of our lives.

Scott was fantastic to deal with!! Very friendly and professional. Listened to my daughter and her music choices. Scott didn’t music and sound for the ceremony and reception. She had selected several different entrance songs for the family and Scott was okay with whatever she wanted. He has been doing this for a long time and knows his stuff. Scott was a great DJ for our wedding in Northern MD. He was super friendly and attentive to all our requests/questions. His prices are very fair. We also purchased photobooth services through Great Scott Productions. Everything went great and he had a great previous relationship with some of our other vendors as well, so we definitely appreciated knowing he has had a great reputation when we booked with him. Scott works through a Portal that allows you to select "Must Play", "Play if Possible", "Do Not Play"... giving you the ability to customize your experience!

After seeing the song selection that my daughter and her fiancé chose for the reception, I reached out to Scott with my concerns. Scott did a great job “reading the room” and playing music that got everyone onto the dance floor while still appeasing the bride and groom. Despite the 102 degree temperatures, the dance floor was FULL!
He was also able to help me show a surprise video during the reception.
