For over 130 years, Grand Hotel — America’s Summer Place located on Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan — has been an exceptional and memorable wedding destination for many couples. We are able to host celebrations for up to 400 guests, with an array of unique locations and dining options available. Wedding ceremonies are traditionally held in two outdoor locations. The Grand Hotel Front Porch — the longest in the world — is lined with red geraniums, our signature flower. From this one-of-a-kind vantage point, take in views of the Straits of Mackinac, Mackinac Bridge, and the hotel gardens below. A second location, the Grand Hotel Tea Garden, sits amidst the meticulously manicured flower gardens with panoramic views looking up at the hotel.

Five formal, private dining rooms are available for your reception, three of which feature dance floors. Each room is different and provides distinctive décor and amenities. We also offer five off-site restaurants for rehearsal dinners or small intimate gatherings.

Our talented chefs create delicious menus to satisfy every taste. Friendly, professional staff ensures no detail, or guest, is overlooked. We also offer a wide variety of customizable cocktail reception and hors d’oeuvre choices for your event.

In addition, Grand Hotel’s skilled pastry chef is flexible and creative and can help design a beautiful wedding cake or desserts for your special day.
