Preparing For Your Wedding

Your wedding at Grace will be both meaningful and unforgettable for all in attendance. Since the preparation of your special day at Grace requires some planning, it is important to know that our wedding schedule fills up quickly. Please schedule your date as early as possible.

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR DATE: A signed Wedding Reservation form, along with a payment deposit of fifty percent of the total fees will secure your wedding date. Remaining fees shall be collected on or before the wedding rehearsal.

Should it be necessary for you to change the date of your service, please contact the Church Office as soon as possible. We shall then require a $100.00 change of reservation fee.

MUSIC: You may choose to employ any of our magnificent instruments; the first, our magnificent pipe organ with Spanish Trumpets and the second, our grand piano. A guitarist is also available if you so desire. We also have a state of the art sound system complete if you choose not to have live music. You can discuss your music selection with our Music Director, should you desire his service.

This is an absolutely beautiful church with stained glass windows, long wooden pews and a beautiful interior and exterior. Debbie answered any questions I had during the planning process, however she merely does the wedding coordinating for the church as a side job. This means she doesn't have a lot of time to just sit down with everyone but I also worked with both pastors to create a wonderful service!

I found this church through a friend and fellow SD bride. It was her first choice, but her wedding ended up being too large for it. Its an absolutely beautiful venue, though a bit pricey in my opinion. Some parts were great, and some left a lot to be desired.

Pre-marital counseling: Pastor John Bombarro is a great guy, and we learned a lot from our sessions with him. If you get married at Grace, youre required to do three sessions with him. We had our own officiant, but we would have been happy to have Pastor John marry us. He gets an A+ on his own.

Administrative: Katie is the main contact, and she was helpful and responsive. She would also get an A+
Ceremony Coordinator: I did not like working with the ceremony coordinator. She was hard to get a hold of, wasnt very flexible time-wise, and didnt seem too friendly. She generally got the job done, and nothing in the ceremony went horribly. However, there was miscommunication over the marriage license, and now, a month later, my husband and I still dont know where the license is because of a part of the license which wasnt filled out correctly. She does many weddings, and took care of the license, but I wish she had been more careful and clear about the process. - C (so the overall grade is B+)
