The Good Food Store and Catering Co. has been catering weddings since 1997. From gorgeous Vacation Home Weddings, Rustic Barn Weddings, Backyard Weddings and Weddings at Summer Camps to Tent Weddings in fields, on mountains, on the golf course, on the lake, (and even on a tennis court), in four seasons and all weather … we’ve catered weddings. And, we’ve enjoyed every one!
Each wedding we cater is as unique as the couple whose day is being celebrated. Whether we start 18 months in advance or 8 weeks in advance, we customize our menus to suit the ideas and vision of the wedding couple. We have yet to serve the exact same menu twice.
With our years of experience in executing seamless, multi-course, multi-step receptions in all kinds of settings, we assist couples with knowing what questions to ask, when to ask them and where to find the answers about most aspects of their wedding meal. It’s not just about the food (although we think that’s important!), it’s also about service, rentals, transitions and event flow through the reception. We communicate, we make great food, and we take care of the details according to your plan so that you can have the day of your dreams. It’s what we do.

Attentive, Responsive, and BEYOND Delicious!
Heather and David were super responsive to our emails and very considerate of our budget. The phone call we had to go over our vision and meal ideas was really helpful since they were able to come up with a menu for our cocktail hour, reception, and late night snack that was perfect for our bellies and considerate of our dietary needs.
Heather met with us a couple days before our wedding at Bear Mountain Inn to talk about the schedule and placement of everything. We provided her with our day of the wedding schedule/timeline. She offered to turn on our twinkle lights and candles around the barn plus set out our cookie favors at all the seats before our guests arrived. While taking some pictures during the cocktail hour, their wait staff made sure to walk all around the property to make sure everyone got hor d'oeuvres. It was so helpful to have that extra care and service for the day of our wedding.
We still get compliments on our wedding food from the buffet dinner to the snacks! Honestly, the flavored popcorn and grilled cheese was our favorite part, but everything was beyond delicious!
