Glenna was flexible, responsive, and truly took time to listen to our vision for all things floral and made it all come to life. Glenna's floral designs were so whimsical and beautiful. My husband and I wanted an elegant, yet trendy, floral design and Glenna went above and beyond. We primarily wanted white flowers and greenery and everything that was installed was fresh and lush. We had greenery vines wrapped around pillars in our reception space, countless bouquets adorning every table and corner, beautiful bouquets/floral cuffs/and boutonnieres, a hanging installation in our ceremony, and even a floral collar for our flower pup. We cannot say enough amazing things about Glenna and the flowers she provided for our fall, ranch wedding outside of San Luis Obispo. Without question, we knew we wanted to have Glenna provide flowers for our wedding, and her amazing team transformed our venue into a truly magical place.

In preparation for our big day, Glenna was one of the easiest vendors to work with. After our initial conversations and a valuable site visit, we put complete trust in her for executing our vision. On the day of our wedding, Glenna and her team arrived early, were efficient in setting up arrangements for the ceremony, cocktail area, dinner tables, and bridal party and even had some welcomed surprises and extras she threw in for our celebration. The arch for the ceremony, bride’s bouquet, and sweetheart table décor in particular were absolutely dreamy.

Glenna is so talented and amazing at what she does. My wedding florals were so beautiful and beyond what I could have imagined. Glenna is very creative and so excited to bring your vision to life. I mostly went in with a color palette in mind and Glenna helped me flesh out my ideas and on the day she and her team did an incredible job with the setup and decoration of the venue space. She was so communicative leading up to the wedding and answered any and all questions I had. You can't ask for a better florist so book her before she books up!!

**Before finding Glenna Joy, I had one of those wedding nightmares that my flowers did not arrive, and my florist decided to not show up. The morning I woke up from that dream, I checked my emails only to find that my original florist decided to cancel on me with no explanation. You could imagine how much of a confused panic I was in. Flowers are the staple of any wedding. They bring the element of magic to your already magical day! How could this lady do this to me a few months out?!

I frantically googled dozens of florists in the Santa Ynez/Santa Barbara/San Louis Obispo areas. I sent them an email with my wedding date and budget, and a majority of them wanted to charge me nearly half the price of my venue!! I even contacted 1 florist who said "My work starts anywhere from 2,000 to 6,000. NOT including flowers." WHAT THE HECK!?! I felt hopeless and so so scared. My vision, I thought, was simple, a romantic yet wild. But there was so much resistance along the way. Then fate led me to find Glenna.

I found Glenna Joy Flowers online, not sure I can remember exactly where, but I found her website and obsessed over her work. I figured I would reach out to her, but thought she too would be out of my price range. Glenna responded within the same day and said she would be able to work out my vision within my budget! I couldn't believe it. I thought it was too good to be true. We had a phone conference to discuss the vision and other details, and she told me to wait while she put together a proposal and look book.

2 Days later my inbox had the most beautiful and organized array of the florals to be used, colors, theme, along with boutonnieres, wrist florets, Archway.. it was perfect (and waaay better than my previous florists proposal). The price lined up to my budget, even including the vase rentals. I was so so so excited to work with Glenna from that day forward.

Up until the wedding day, Glenna and I were in contact regarding prep, sneak peeks, ribbon selection, and some extras I decided to add for decor. Then when I saw her creations in person, I was speechless. The flowers were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. From the altar, to the tables, to the bars.... but my bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I had ever seen in my life! Rich colors of green, purple, orange, pink, sprayed with some white and yellow. Every part of it was meticulously planned and placed out. I couldn't in my wildest dreams envision what Glenna created for me. Truly beautiful and spectacular, I seriously had extreme guilt when that bouquet left my hands for the bouquet toss. I did NOT want to give it up!

She will work with you on your budget, she will be there for you when you are having little panic attacks, she will deliver the best arrangements you could have ever imagined. She was my angel, and I only wish I had another reason to hire her again!

We had a very small wedding on 10/19/18 and we used Glenna Joy Flowers for my bouquet, flower crown, a few floral arrangements, my husband's boutonniere, and a corsage for his grandmother.
We can say with 100% certainty, that she went above and beyond to give us what we wanted and that everything that she did came out even more amazing than we could have imagined!

After talking to Glenna on the phone, I knew we would hire her because of how confident and at-ease she made me feel. We still talk about how incredible our wedding flowers were and how we can't believe we were able to have such amazing flowers. Glenna absolutely killed it.

Glenna was so easy to work with and we felt like she really listened to us and understood our vision. She was also super responsive and friendly, and talking to her on the phone felt very comfortable. She was realistic about our budget and worked with us to make decisions that fit into our budget. She was open to ideas such as reusing bridesmaid bouquets as table centerpieces at the reception. Also, her very professional proposal listed specific flowers and colors, and she used all of my Pinterest board photos to show how my vision would fit into different elements of our wedding. It was super organized and her pricing was transparent and easy to understand because of how organized and detailed the proposal was. After going through the proposal, I was so excited and confident in our wedding’s florals, and in Glenna.

Glenna’s enthusiasm for our wedding was contagious and made us feel even more excited about it. I still remember Glenna sending me a text of a special orchid she got for my bouquet and asking me if I liked it and I almost cried I was so excited about it. I would recommend Glenna to any couples looking for an amazing floral designer - cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a true creative gem and went above and beyond to make our floral dreams come true.
