We were fortunate enough to have Erin, the owner do our hair and makeup for the wedding. She was fantastic! I’m such a naturalist when it comes to my hair and makeup so I’m not used to getting dolled up. Erin did a great job capturing a natural makeup look, but still having enough makeup on me so the photos would look good. I also love how she did my hair in low bun. It was beautiful!

I went to Glass Door for hair, make-up, and nails for both me and my wedding party. It was an incredibly easy process to book their services and they helped me create a timeline for getting ready on my wedding day. Each stylist made sure I looked exactly how I wanted and were so flexible. We got ready at the salon and were able to bring in our own snacks and drinks. They played music and put us at ease! I highly recommend them for wedding day hair and make-up.

Initially I had only planned to get manicures and pedicures done here the day before the wedding for myself and 5 others (all of which turned out great, by the way). During that appointment I received an email from the hair/makeup artist that I had hired to come to my hotel the morning of the wedding that she may end up cancelling due to Hurricane Florence. The ladies at Glass Door overheard me talking about it and when we checked out they said they had 3 openings for hair/makeup the next day (morning of the wedding) and that even if we needed the services but couldn't tell them before they closed, to just show up the next morning and they would hold the spots for us. My initial hair/makeup artist cancelled so my 2 bridesmaids and I ended up going to Glass Door the morning of the wedding. It was a great experience - there is a bar area where you can have food and drink and the ladies got started quickly and were so accommodating. My bridal hair/makeup was by Antigona and was WONDERFUL - turned out that I liked it better than my initial trial with the artist that cancelled. I had natural looking airbrush makeup and a classic updo. With my thick hair, updos are extra work but Antigona did a great job. My hair stayed in place all day even through the gusty winds from the hurricane! I felt so special and taken care of by these ladies on my wedding day!

What a pleasure it was to work with Glass Door Salon for our hair and makeup needs the day of my wedding! Myself, my bridesmaids, and the two mothers had the whole run of the salon all morning/early afternoon, and it was a blast! We could bring in our own music, and food and drink, so it really made the whole experience so nice and relaxing before the wedding! And of course, our hair and makeup turned out great!!

We would highly recommend this salon! Erin did an fantastic job for all the ladies and my bride. They all looked very beautiful and amazing! We couldn't ask for anyone better!! She also came to the rescue by helping us transform our white boutonnieres to pink to accommodate the cultural colors for our wedding. She was very helpful and was very attentive to our needs. very professional service in a salon designed to cater to bridal parties. We had 9 women and it went off without a hitch. Had a great time there and had expert service. The hair styles were all different and all beautiful.

After having an initial trial run/meeting w/ another stylist at this salon, I found out from a Facebook post that she would be leaving the week before I was to get married. Needless to say, I was a little miffed and the salon had thought the stylist had contacted all of her clients. Well, the salon responded quickly to me and said they would have that stylist call me. Well, I got an email from her, stating she just found out she would be leaving and moving away and that she had Erin and the other staff informed of my wedding party booking. Now, when I booked, I booked to have 6 people get hair and make-up. I called the salon after receiving this email and Erin Blakley, the owner, contacted me quickly and answered my questions. I went back and met with Erin and my mom and I did a trial run and she didn't charge b/c I had already been charged for the first one. I was very appreciative of this. The day of my wedding, I changed my hair and make-up choices, but I emailed Erin w/ pictures and she was ready to go when I got there. She and all her staff that helped make my wedding party beautiful were just great & so friendly! I would recommend them to anyone!!

Taylor and her staff did such a wonderful job on my hair/make up for my bridal portraits and on my wedding day. I was nervous about looking myself with makeup and a hair makeover, but Taylor did a wonderful job keeping me calm and working me through the process. Taylor came to my house for my bridal portrait makeup/hair and also on our wedding day. This was a lot of fun and less stressful. We had a great time with her and my bridesmaids getting dressed and pretty. I couldn't have asked for a better service and appreciate Glass Door for making this as easy as possible during the planning process. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a salon for their hair/makeup to book Glass Door. You won't be disappointed!

I have to start off by saying when I started planning my wedding last year, for some reason I was so nervous as to whom I was going to be able to find to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day along with my large bridal party (seven bridesmaids, mother, sister and three attendants). I was extremely blessed to have found Erin after only visiting one other salon in the area and as soon as I met her, I knew that this was meant to be. She has such a wonderful, kind personality and she put me at complete ease throughout my trial hair and makeup process, bridal portraits and most importantly on the wedding day. She answered every question via e-mail, text message and phone call promptly and that definitely helped since I was having to plan our wedding out-of-state. On the wedding day, May 24, 2014, Erin along with two of her staff members had already arrived, set up and were waiting for us at the church (we arrived at 8AM so they were there sometime before that). I was so excited because they were able to finish everyone's hair and makeup ahead of schedule too! Everyone in my bridal party and family loved their hair and makeup and truly enjoyed the experience with Erin and her staff. My sister loved her so much that she booked Erin for her wedding as well. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone getting married in the Winston-Salem area!

You can't get a better service then from Erin and her group of girls and Jordan. I found Erin just in a google search and she responded to me immediately. We set up the appointment for the trial run and Engagement Photos. She does airbrush makeup....HIGHLY recommend every Bride get this done. She is amazing and really makes you feel comfortable when you are having every kind of thought on how you should do your hair or makeup. My engagement photos were a hit....Beautiful! That could not have been done without her and the team.

I had not anxiety on the day of my wedding about my hair and makeup. The girls came to me and were there early in great spirit. They made My Mom, Bridesmaids and Mom BEAUTIFUL, once again.

I have gone to Taylor to get my hair done several times and never have any complaints. What better way to pamper yourself then to go to Glass Door Salon, they offer free valet parking! HELLO
