I used glamsquad for my wedding day and everything was great! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. They were on time and professional. They also did an amazing job on my family members as well! I would use them again for sure.

I am absolutely livid with my recent experience with Glamsquad, and I not need to vent my frustration - I NEED RESOLUTION.

This is not just a simple complaint—this is about blatant disregard for policies, unethical behavior, and a complete lack of professionalism from your stylists.

Let me start by saying that I went above and beyond to ensure everything would go smoothly for the stylists arriving on Sunday, February 16. I contacted the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Houston ahead of time, confirmed free parking options, and personally texted each stylist via the app with detailed instructions on where to park for FREE. I did my part to make sure they wouldn’t need to valet park, especially since it was a Sunday morning and free street parking was readily available.

But guess what? At least two of the stylists admitted to me that they DIDN’T EVEN BOTHER TO LOOK FOR THE FREE PARKING. They went straight to valet without a second thought. When I asked them if they found the free parking okay, their response was, “I got your text, but I just went straight to valet.” Are you kidding me? This is not only lazy but also a direct violation of Glamsquad’s policy, which states that stylists should only valet park if there are no other suitable options. I made it clear in my initial email to Glamsquad on February 17 that I would NOT be responsible for these valet charges, as the stylists failed to do their due diligence.

But it gets worse. These stylists had the AUDACITY to go to the front desk and claim that my mother, who has Alzheimer’s, approved charging the valet fees to our room. Let me be clear: my mother did NOT approve anything. She doesn’t have the mental capacity to do so, and the stylists knew this. They were fully aware of her condition because my aunt and I explained it to them beforehand. This is not just unprofessional—it’s downright immoral and exploitative. They took advantage of my mother’s disability to cover their own negligence, and I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior.

To make matters even more frustrating, I received a generic response from Glamsquad saying, “I’m so glad you enjoyed the services.” Did you even read my email? I was trying to politely point out the issues I encountered, but instead of addressing them, you brushed me off. Now, I’m stuck with valet charges on two different credit cards for services that should never have been incurred in the first place.

And let’s talk about the stylists’ professionalism—or lack thereof. My makeup artist, Fallon, showed up early while I was still in the shower, which made me feel rushed. Then, she informed me she had to leave by 9:10 AM because she had to be at work by 9:30 AM. Excuse me? I booked her for a full hour from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, and she didn’t even stay the entire time. She even mentioned she didn’t have time to apply false lashes because she had to leave early. What kind of luxury service is this? If this had been my mother’s appointment, she wouldn’t have been able to finish getting ready on her own.

The only saving grace was the hairstylist, who did a great job and even commented that Fallon shouldn’t have left early. At least someone understood the concept of providing a luxury experience.

Overall, the stylists who worked on my mom were kind and patient, and her hair and makeup looked great. But that doesn’t excuse the fact that they also didn’t bother to look for free parking, adding to the unnecessary charges.

Glamsquad, you need to take responsibility for this mess. Your stylists failed to follow your own policies, took advantage of my mother’s condition, and left me with charges I shouldn’t have to pay. I expect you to resolve this issue with the hotel’s valet company immediately and ensure that your stylists are held accountable for their actions. This experience has left me furious and disappointed in a service I expected to be professional and reliable.

Fix this. Now.

Glamsquad really came through for me and my (many) female bridesmaids on the day of the wedding. I knew I wanted everyone to have the opportunity to get hair and makeup done, but I didn’t want to have people committing to arriving several hours before the day started. Glamsquad was able to provide me with multiple artists, who worked both effectively and efficiently to glam up all my girls in a timely manner. We never ran behind schedule, despite all girls having different hair types and makeup preferences. They were all extremely professional and I would recommend this service to anyone who is looking to glam a larger group!

I used Glamsquad artists as my rehearsal dinner hair and makeup team and felt I looked flawless all night. I also had my mom and maid of honor get glammed for the rehearsal dinner, which made everything much more special. My mom originally was only booked for makeup this evening, but then decided to add a quick blowout which was accommodated by GlamSquad without any issues. I was so thankful they were there with me to kick off my wedding weekend!
